Talk about feeling out of the loop! I got an email from a reader, wanting to see my take on the sketch! I had no idea there was a sketch! LOL! But there is! —–>HERE
Goes to show how busy life can get. I hadn’t even “checked in” to my DT forum :C
Anyway-Kelsy just for YOU-I did two-because Im so late!
Now I have to say that large circle gave me a hard time! So that is why its a challenge right?
Sweet Bunch of thanks
Both cards showcased today use- How Sweet It Is
(How Sweet it is-is stamp set that benefits The American Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. $7.00 of every set sold is divided evenly between these two organizations)
So I flipped the sketch-and rather than matting the main layer, I used my rectangle nestability for a illusion of the layer!
I decided a CLEAR flower would be in place of the large circle.
The paper is a slab by Rob & Bob studio I got like 2 1/2 years ago! LOL! The “thank you” is a rub on, on a tag from the slab.
Next up is-Stork Brought Boy
On this one I made the circle smaller, and cut an image from the patterned paper I liked. It was the Little Boy Blue nursery rhyme paper by Autumn Leaves (also bought like 1 1/2 years ago).
I omitted the long layer-sorry! I just couldn’t make it work.
The bird is flocked. Makes it so sweet and soft. I LOVE this set. I also LOVE that stork image-just perfect.
The colors really do co-ordinate in person! Now someone needs to have a boy! I think my friend Geny is having one soon 😀 Maybe this will fly its way to her house! But first I have to make her a BOY themed onesie bouquet! I promised her I would, and she was told to remind me when it got “closer”.
SO that is it for today! Hope you dont miss the mytime mail!

beautiful cards…love this set!
These are both great! I really like the embossing you did around the flower!
As always, wonderful cards Lauren. PLEASE show us your boy themed onesie bouquet when it is done!! The onesie bouquet previously shown on your blog is absolutley amazing! If someone ever gave that to me, I would sit it on a shelf and just look at it. Beautiful!
The little boy one is ADORABLE!! The clear flower is a great take on the circle.
The flower card is so very pretty Lauren… Congrats on all those hits… You should be very pleased.

Congrats on all of your hits too!! You ROCK, so I’m am not surprised you’re so popular!! Woo hooo!!
I’m so glad I check this entry out. I love how you used the clear flower as the “circle” part of the sketch. I have these clear flowers (maybe I got them from you?) and I always draw a blank on how to use them.
Your cards are adorable! I can’t wait to stamp again… I have a ton of paperwork to go through for taxes and court first.
Thank you again for sharing your great creations with us! Hugs!
