Today the entire team and I are sharing some samples using a NEW! Template called In Suspense ©!! Together we will share teh MANY ideas and uses for this great new release.

While the template concept in itself is exciting, there are 3 NEW! Pretty Impression stamp sets to make it even more AMAZING!

Stop by an visit:

  • Catherine Doucette
  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz <—She has become a PERMANENT Design Team member!! WOOT!! WOOT!! (I’ll be picking the other person soon!)
  • Katie Cotton
  • Lisa Kind
  • Pam Imholz
  • Stephanie Kraft
  • Tangii Crain
  • Tracey Cuccia
  • Tammy Hershberger
  • The 3 NEW! sets we have that coordinate with the  In Suspense template are: A Secret Surprise, A Spooky Surprise, and our very first Pretty Petite stamp set Thankful!

Now I had fully planned on creating a sample that utilized the A Secret Surprise frame, with the poem, for today’s group post, but obviously my daughter being hospitalized took precedence. I’m certain the team will show you the endless possibilities this template and stamp combination have to offer!

    So without further delay…..

    In Suspense © Template $5
Available in PDF, SVG, DXF, GSD, and WPC
    Completed Project Size:
    8 3/4 Inches Tall
    4 Inches Wide
    2 Inches Deep

    The name says it all!

This idea of this template is to not only “suspend” it from the door knob of the recipient, but to also put them in “suspense” of what surprise could be hanging on their door! What a wonderful treat to find, no matter what the occasion.

Note: You can cut the door knob hanger portion to create just a fun gift box to leave on a door step, on a desk, or in a mailbox! Also the cut out in the front is optional, so this opens up a ton of possibilities. You can omit it, or make the cut out whatever shape you choose!
This template was designed to coordinate with the
Secret Surprise stamp set, as well as the Secret Surprise Label Pretty Pieces Cut File.

Now you can easily leave a surprise for that special someone? Maybe it is for a particular holiday, birthday, cheer up, get well, or just because! Maybe you want to even start a new tradition amongst family, friends, neighbors, or co-workers!

No matter what occasion you choose, this is sure to put the receiver in suspense!

Thankful © Pretty Petite Set of 12 Images $6
    By Catherine Doucette

This set was designed to coordinate with the Secret Surprise Stamp set, and the In Suspense © Perfect Packaging template. Label image also coordinate with the Secret Surprise Label Pretty Pieces Cut File.

The sentiment on the tag is from So Sentimental, embossed in gold.

As you can see on my sample, I stamped the acorn cluster in the right corner. I masked the cluster so I could stamp the pumpkin images “behind” the cluster. One pumpkin is from the A Spooky Surprise set. I stamped the swirls in a gold ink, and added gold with a glitter pen.

The window of the In Suspense template coordinates with the A Secret Surprise stamp set, and label cut file. I stamped the frame from A Secret Surprise in gold ink. I then created a window from acetate, and stamped, then embossed the large “Thankful” sentiment, into the center. This is filled with Lindt Chocolates. Perfection!

This is a simply stunning Pretty Petite set perfect for giving thanks! These Autumn themed images are sure to impress, and make your fall themed creations easier than ever! They are also wonderful for sympathy and masculine themed cards, tags, and gifts.

This set will allow you to dress up any Thanksgiving table, or some send fall themed treats!

Whatever you use this set for, the message of thankfulness is sure to be received.

Here is a card to match
I stamped my leaves on my card base.
I stamped the swirl from Fanciful Flourishes on the base as well.

On the vellum overlay I embossed the sentiment like on my template window.
I love the added real pinecones to the card.

    Simple elegance.

    So let’s get started!!

Today I am sharing a super cute sample using the Grab a Cup template, with Fancy a Cuppa? stamp set, Grab a Cup and Grab a Cup Sentiments. So let me get sharing!

    Grab a Cup Template $5

Available in PDF, SVG, DXF, GSD, and WPC

    Completed Project Size:

     3 3/4 Inches Wide
     3 1/2 Inches Deep
    3 1/4 Inches Tall
Sometime you just want to grab a cup!
If you like coffee, tea, chai, latte, cocoa or even a cup o’ soup you, will fall in love with this 3 dimensional version of the “coffee/tea cup”.
It is simply adorable and perfectly sized for a variety of options.

You can fill it with a variety of gifts, or use it as the perfect party favor! A great option for place settings too. This could really dress up a table, or make the perfect addition for a “tea” party.

My cup was created using a yellow cardstock. The panels were made from white cardstock, and were stamped with the stunning Daisy border image from Fancy a Cuppa?,which I colored. The white layer was also stamped with the polka dot builder image in the set as well.  I used a scallop nestability for the bottom layer on my cup. Just an additional sweet touch.

My colored were pulled from the herbal tea that I chose to wrap up in a cello bag, which was stamped to match using the single daisy images in the set, using black StazOn, and a sharpie marker was used to color them in.The flower is a cut file from our Flutters & Flowers. I just used an embossing stylus to create the lines in it, then I sponged on some color!

My tag- I used the cup image from the Grab a Cup set, with the steam! I used another small daisy from the Fancy a Cuppa? set. The  sentiment is from the Grab a Cup Sentiment set. That set is a MUST have!!

Now you may be curious as to what the Fancy a Cuppa? set, bu Catherine Doucette is all about!

We really love the focus of “hot beverages” this month. There really are so many great gift ideas where hot beverages are the main focus, and they deserve to be properly gifted and highlighted!! We have the perfect coordination of images and sentiments for such an occasion!!

    Fancy a Cuppa? © Set of 20 Images $20

This is another great set for *any* hot beverage lover!
You will love all the possibilities this large cup has to offer! I know I have a ton more ideas I hope to implement!

The large cup measures a little over: 1 3/4 Inches Tall X 3 Inches Wide

There are two- 5 block sentiments that align perfectly with our “check boxes”, that fit on the cup itself or can be used alone.

The two 5 block sentiments feature sentiments that can easily be used alone or when combined with the check boxes within the set, allow you to “check off” what you are giving the card. tag, or gift for!

    Sentiments Read:

    Block 1:

    Thanks so much

    Have a nice day

    Oh, happy day

    Thinking of you

    Just because

    Block 2:

    Tea

    Coffee

    Latte

    Cocoa

    Soup

You can also see there are some great additions to the set that will allow you to further decorate your cup, which features a solid cup, or an outlined version of the cup, or create your own borders and backgrounds.

Here I stamped my solid cup onto a regal rose cardstock, in Cranberry Crisp ink. I cut it out, then used the solid rim stamped in white for my design. The cup sentiment (and my “tea tag”) is from Grab a Cup Sentiments was perfect for the inside rim, and tea tag! I also chose to stamp some white polka dots on the cup as well.

I used the daisy image from the Fancy A Cuppa? set to adorn my cup, and I used the various size daisies, with the polka dot pattern to make my own patterned paper!! Some adhesive pearls randomly placed add to the WOW of this simple card.

I made a hanging tag to look like a little tea tag, hanging from my cup. So simply sweet.

The two smaller cup images in the set fit perfectly within the center of the Fancy a Cuppa? Add On circle sentiments. Whatever you fancy in your cup, this set is certain to warm the heart of receiver for whatever you create using it.

Day 1 Perfect Peeks:A whole latte fun

Sep 28, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, My Time Made Easy

    Hi everyone!

     Today is Alexa’s 11th Birthday!

Words cannot say how ever more thankful (than the usual) I am to be celebrating it this year. After our BIG Pediatric ICU scare I know I am ever thankful she is here with us. Alexa ALWAYS teaches me about how important each moment is and how precious LIFE really is. We had quite the emergency and everyone was amazed at how well (and quick) she pulled through. We were given NO guarantees and it was one of the scariest times I’ve had with her to date. THAT says a lot in itself. I was once again reminded of what is truly important in life.

So I want to wish her a VERY Happy Birthday, with MANY, MANY more to come. I can’t get as emotional as I feel about this because I would just fall apart, so I’m trying to keep it upbeat and happy. I am so thankful to God for all he has done in her life (and my family), and allowing me to celebrate another year with her. I’ve really been able to keep life in perspective and stay grounded to my family. I’ve never ever felt more blessed and in God’s presence! He has truly blessed our family, once again. I cannot begin to list the many blessings we have been given.

OK moving forward before I get REALLY mommy mushy! LOL!

I was able to turn a simple gift of 4 K Cups  (2 in each cup) of Butter Toffee coffee, and 4 chocolate Biscotti (2 in each cup) into a total WOW!

Biscotti is 0.25 cents each, and the K Cups are 0.19 cents each. The cost of this gift is $1.76, but was made to seems so much more expensive 😀

Here is the cup/carrier front close-up.

My cup decor lets the receiver know just what to expect! I love this sentiment from the Grab a Cup Sentiment set. I love that the cup makes the “u” in the word “cup”.

I have to say I LOVE this template combination.

Here I used the Fancy a Cuppa? (the cup carrier) with the Grab a Cup (the 3 D travel like cup).

Yes!! That pink cup is a NEW! Pretty Packaging template called Grab a Cup , designed to fit perfectly within the Fancy a Cuppa? template, or used alone. It even has a warmer wrap to go with it.

This template makes your very own cup, or can even be used to WRAP/Cover a 12 oz. coffee cup. As I will repeat below.

I made my template from a regal rose cardstock. Quick & easy. As I said above I used the Grab a Cup Sentiment set for my cup design. I added the steam from th Grab a Cup set.

This is a (STURDY) 12 oz size cup, all from cardstock, and it fits the 12 oz coffee lids you can purchase!! Read on.

This template can also “wrap” the new hot beverage cups you may have purchased. This file comes complete with the “sleeve” for even more design possibilities, and further making this as realistic as possible.

One of the BEST features: This template fits the lids of those 12 oz. To Go! cups that you can purchase at the store, or will want to save from your latest hot beverage purchase!

and various candies or homemade treats!

This template fits the lids of those 12 oz. To Go! cups that you can purchase at the store, or will want to save from your latest hot beverage purchase! To Go! cup that is perfect on its own, but we stepped it up a notch by having it fit the lids. Fancy a Cuppa © Template! The template can perfectly hold 2 of these To Go! cups, or when adhered back to back, it can hold 4 of these To Go! cups. Grab a Cup ©, Grab a Cup Sentiments ©, Fancy a Cuppa ©, Fancy a Cuppa Add On © , and the A Spot of Tea © stamp sets!

I cut my “warmer sleeve” using the polka dot patterned paper from the Shutt-erfly collection!

Here is a close up view of the pattern that I created using the 2 solid cup images (and cup border stamps) with the sugar jar, coffee beans from the Grab a Cup set, and the little cute coffee pot from the Sign It set!!

Wait until you see this set. It was such a quick and cute pattern to make!! I did color in some “shadowing”.

    Now for my tag!!

On this I combined the “A Cup Full Of”, “Thanks”, “Happiness” and “Love” sentiments from the Grab a Cup Sentiment set, with the boxes and check marks from Fancy a Cuppa? set. I used my oval nestabilities for the label, and trimed around the inside of my frame.

I had fun adding the whipped topping and straw to the cup. I also stamped the heart image from Bringing Home Baby, onto my cup.
I masked my cup so I could stamp the tray image, with the coffee ring, to signify “someone missing”.

    Some AMAZING news!

Sep 28, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: About Me, family stuff

I have 4 amazing announcements! Given the last 2 weeks I’ve had it is wonderful to be able to say that!

    1) We are home!!

One thing I can say is my life is ever ANYTHING but BORING or DULL!!

Alexa is home and looks amazing, just in time for her 11th birthday!!

No one really had any idea how bleak the situation was just a week ago. I have to shout it from the roof tops that Alexa was truly healed by God, once again.

It is truly a miracle by God’s hands, because the doctors told us they didn’t think she’d pull through this. Nor did they anticpate she do so, and so quickly. It was anticipated she’d get worse, before better, and they weren’t giving me anything to hold on to. They were playing this second by second. It was definitely THE scariest time for me because they always TRY to give you a positive statement, and this time they had none. Obviously as her mom, I had to refuse to believe that, and remind myself she has a purpose in this world. Alexa IS a fighter. She is truly the strongest person I know, and has touched many lives.

I prayed like never before, and reminded God of his promise to me years ago (read Alexa’s story), when I know he actually spoke to me. At that time, he promised me Alexa would be taken care of by him. That she was his child and I needed to keep my trust and faith in him. I was told “Do not believe the words of man”, but the promise of him.

He often brings me to knees, and reminds me of his power, and unending love. Alexa has been a walking testiment since before birth, and had the eyes of every person she came in contact with during this time, in disbelief of her recovery. We do have some possible complications that can arrise, but we are being both cautious and hopeful.

    MORE happy news!!!

    2) Tomorrow Alexa turns 11!! What a celebration of life that will be for me! I can’t even get into it, because I am still quite emotional about everything.

    3) Im over the moon to say OUR HOUSE SOLD!!!

We priced it to sell and it did within one month!! With this market that is a true miracle. All our hard work and prayers paid off. The inspection is tomorrow (on Alexa’s birthday) and we fully expect everything to go well! Our house is all newly renovated/updated and everything looks good, so I think it will be OK. The family buying it is expecting thier first baby soon too! Our home is perfect for them 😀 I have a very good feeling about everything.

    4) The today we heard back from the bank that they accepted the offer on our DREAM HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we are closing on that house the end of October!! I can’t even wait. We have 4 bedrooms so each child will have their own space! We have an amazing yard, and amazing neighbors. We couldn’t feel more blessed. The house is perfection. Everything I had on my wishlist 😀

So needless to say things are really looking up! I feel so blessed because everything seemed to all fall apart, thenin the same turn suddenly all fall into place, just like it was all in God’s hands!

I will admit it was hard dealing with house negotations while Alexa was in the hospital. I am a control freak about that stuff, and God really showed me what was important, and again to trust in him, and what is meant to be, will be! We just prayed about everything, and handed it over to him.

Well thanks for letting me share all the good. Its nice to be able to return with so many positive things to announce! I hate when things are ALL negative.

LASTLY the October Release peeks begin tomorrow!

I have busted my HINEY to get my projects completed and blog posting/samples done. So please keep that in miund this release! It was/is very difficult for me to swing everything and I’ve done my best to be SUPER WOMAN! LOL!

    So I hope you enjoy!

A Thank You and an Update…

Sep 25, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: family stuff, My Time Made Easy

Dear followers of My Time Made Easy,

First and foremost we would like to thank you profusely for your prayer requests. Alexa is a shining example of the magnificent power of prayer. It looks like Alexa is on the road to recovery since entering the Pediatric ICU a few days ago. The day before yesterday, they removed her oxygen mask to allow her to breathe room air (GREAT sign of her progress). The doctors are amazed at how well she is doing and how swiftly she is improving. Yesterday they moved her to the regular Pediatric ward to finish her recovery. She has a puss pocket in one lung that could cause serious complications so they’re observing her closely.

Lauren said that they’re not sure when they will be discharged, but she’s thinking maybe next Tuesday. We hope for their sake that happens because little Miss Alexa has a birthday coming up! She will turn 11 on Wednesday :] How great would it be for her to be able to spend it at home with her family?! Lauren sent a picture of her today in the hospital gift shop holding a gigantic fortune cookie. Doesn’t she look great?

Lauren is also on the road to recovery and starting to feel much better. She’s has been pretty tired from tending to Alexa throughout the night, but seeing her improve is helping her own recovery and also helping her to sleep the past few days :]

We would appreciate you keeping Alexa and Lauren in your prayers until they’re completely out of the woods.

Also, keep an eye out for the October release! Peeks start on Wednesday also. You can get in on one of the new sets now by placing a pre-order or purchasing the digital set. The pre-orders are set to ship on October 1st, but you may notice that if you already placed an order yours might arrive before the 1st. Some of the shipments were already mailed! That’s just a small example of the stellar customer service you can expect from My Time Made Easy.  You can check out Lauren’s blog post about the Spooky Surprise PRE-RELEASE!! <–It can be found here.

Thank you for checking in and continuing your prayers for Alexa and Lauren.

    a Prayer Request

Sep 22, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: My family stuff

Dear Followers of My Time Made Easy,

This post is coming to you from Lauren’s Design Team, not from Lauren herself. We wanted to let you know what’s going on since Lauren has SO many faithful and devoted followers. Lauren’s daughter, Alexa, was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia a few days ago. Unfortunately, she is progressively getting worse. Right now she is only using 25% of her right lung to breathe…the rest is filled up with “junk”. Her condition is severe enough that she has been transferred to a bigger hospital that can better manage her condition. It took the docs no more than 20 minutes to admit Alexa to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at this hospital. Lauren has limited access to the internet; however, she is a mom first and foremost, and is completely focused on her daughter right now. That being said, the rest of her life is on hold. On top of everything going on with Alexa, Lauren has been diagnosed with pneumonia and a sinus infection. So, she’s not only coping with her daughter’s condition, but her own as well.

We plan to go forward as a team and bring you all the new release posts and peeks starting next week. We hope you will stay tuned for this next exciting release!! Be sure to check out Lauren’s blog post about the Spooky Surprise PRE-RELEASE!! <–It can be found here. You can pre-order this super fun Halloween stamp set to be shipped on the 1st of October OR you can order and download the digital format now!!

While Lauren is tending to Alexa at the hospital, you can contact Kristin [[email protected]] with any questions or concerns about products.

Meanwhile, please keep Lauren, Alexa and the rest of the family in your prayers. Lauren is 100% devoted to her family but she also considers her customers and followers to be part of the My Time family as well. Feel free to leave comments here for Lauren. She’ll enjoy reading them with Alexa when she is well enough to come home. If you would like to send a card (or Dunkin Donuts coffee to Lauren – ha ha 🙂 to raise their spirits, please send them to her home address:

Huge THANKS to this amazing group of papercrafters! We know your prayers will be appreciated.

    Hello…Let’s Chat

Sep 14, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, My Time Made Easy

Well the kids are in school, and already got nasty colds! SHOCKING! LOL!

How is your September going? Can you believe we are almost MID month?! Goodness gracious.

Wow is this ever a crazy time of year! I know once mid August hits (usually Amber’s birthday week) I go pretty crazy from then until January, and that was before I started my own company, so it will be even more so! Time just FLIES.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in quick with a card I made using the On Display 1 set., and some of the coordinating paper!

    letscaht.JPG

The paper was a mix of patterns-something I love doing 😀

I used the Pretty Printables: Cherry on Top and Sweet & Sour Sweethearts Paper bag

I love telephone images. I am a “talker”, not a text-er! LOL! The two sentiments “Let’s Chat!, and Hello are perfect for this.

I have a few friends I don’t talk to nearly as much as I would like these days, so I’m sending a few of these out, to let them know, I AM here, just been crazy busy. As I’ve said juggling things isn’t always easy….and sometimes other things fall to the back-burner, and that has been some of my dear friends.

So I hope this lets them know I’m thinking of them today.

    phoneclose.JPG

I love these little phones. I added a dew drop to the center of the phone, to make it 3D

I used a blending paper on the chocolate phone, so my ink bled a little :C I won’t use that again unless I am coloring!

I have had much going on behind the scenes, and some of that has been making the hard decisions for our Guest Designers, and the addition of a permanent designer. All the submissions have been amazing, and are still rolling in, so I'm still deciding some things.

Now there are still 2 permanent positions open because this month we are saying goodbye to not only Dawn, but Silke and Lesa. They will be so missed, but aren't far away.

With their leaving, join me in welcoming some new members to the team (and you may be one before you know it!)

We have 1 NEW! Design Team member:

Tangii Crain (Katie I swear I'm not stealing all your girls!)

The Inking Spot of Crain Creations

    And some guest spots!

Ashley Cannon Newell is going to be a guest for OCT and posting on 29th and Oct 3rd!
