Today I am going to share a project using a bulk of our new release!

I always receive requests for MORE desk/office/card organization. I have MANY amazing things in the works that you will see very soon, and in the mean time this is all that, and then some!

Card Catch All ©

catch-it.jpg

Now stunning is this?

It took only a few minutes to make!

Looking for the perfect functional, yet decorative box that can be left out in the open to serve as a “catch all “?

You know what I mean! We all like to have something around to help us store/sort our “stuff”. From cards/envelopes/stamps, address book, contact lists, receipts, coupons, recipes, to do list, grocery list, kids paper projects…..maybe even toss incoming or outgoing letters! This is the perfect box for all ” that “. You can use it anywhere, yet have it look oh so pretty while sitting there!

 another-cathc.JPG

Look no further! This has it all!

I used the flourish vine from the Fanciful Flourishes © set to serve as my design on this. This set has coordinating paper in a variety of colors this month too! I added the various size flowers where I wanted them to build my flowering vine pattern.

The category cards, and main sentiment “For Your Kindness” on the box was from So Sentimental ©. SO EASY! Im am beyond in LOVE with these 2 sets! You will be too.

In today’s project I made a address book, and a covered notepad to match my Card Catch All © box.

notes-2.JPG

On the address book I stamped the sentiment “My Dear Friend” from So Sentimental ©. I love how the simple flourish design from Fanciful Flourishes © makes this gift a real WOW! It was all so easy since they were designed to coordinate.

notebook-mini.JPG

Then on the address book, then the smaller pattern that coordinates in the So Sentimental © set makes the smaller note book just “fit” with this set. I also stamped the same flourish pattern in a pale blue in on the background for some “filler”.

Whether it be in the office, on a teacher’s desk, living room, craft space, kids room, entry way, in the kitchen, bedroom, or even in the bathroom for all those pretty lotions and bath products, this is the perfect “catch all”!

card-box.JPG

This template has a coordinating Pretty Pieces © Cut File: Card Catch All Add On.

This cut file is available in PDF, SVG, WPC, DXF, and GSD format.

You can see that I used it in today’s project. All the sentiments from So Sentimental © fit PERFECTLY on the category tags. It has the perfect “all occasions sentiments, and verses to match.

Who doesn’t love a “fancy” card/envelope template? I made a set of 4 as seen here.

card-catch-envy.JPG

Each card has a different phrase. You will truly fall in love.

This cut file is the PERFECT add on file that was designed to coordinate perfectly with the Card Catch All © Pretty Packaging template. It is also perfect to use on its own!

card-quad-3.JPG

This file comes complete with a A2 size (4 1/4 X 5 1/2) cards (no extra postage:D), fancy envelope, tri-fold card, 2 labels, and of course our category cards. All which match our Card Catch All ©  box perfectly!

Are you in love yet?

card-catch.JPG

I made 4 cards here, each using a different verse from the set. Inside each card the main sentiment is stamped.

card-tag.JPG

(inside this reads Thinking of You)

The best part is if you resize your Card Catch All ©Pretty Packaging template, you can simply resize your Add On © elements to match! Now you have a world of options!

Be sure to check out the So Sentimental © Pretty Impressions stamp set, as all our sentiments are a perfect fit for the category cards. Be on the look out for MORE great Pretty Impressions stamp sets in the future that will also coordinate with this amazing file!

Now you may want to know more about the stamp featured in today’s project:

So Sentimental $20 Set of 30 images

This is the perfect all occasion sentiment set!

It also has a coordinating Pretty Pieces Cut File: So Sentimental Frame. It was designed for you to perfectly layer your frame image in this set!

Whether you want a simple sentiment, a verse, or both, this has it all.  The main sentiments come complete with a companion verse that can be used on the INSIDE or OUTSIDE of your card! Use them alone, or together. They can also take the main focus of any creation. The sentiments and verses were designed to fit the frame that is in this set as well.

If you like the flourishes in this set you just may want to see our coordinating Fanciful Flourishes © Pretty Impressions stamp set!

Sentiments:

*Get Well Soon

*Many Thanks

*Thinking of You

*With Love

*With Appreciation

*For your kindness

*My Dear Friend

*Best Wishes

*Deepest Sympathy

* A Happy Life

*To the Happy Couple

*Happy Birthday

Verses:

*Family Our family is a circle of strength & love. With every birth and union it grows.Every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger.

* I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow.

*May you succeed far beyond your biggest dreams!

*Whoever is happy will make others happy too.-Anne Frank

*Wishing you a speedy recovery!

* Your friendship means the world to me

* I’m here for you…just as you are always there for me.

* For all you do,for who you are,and what you mean to me

* You will never know how much your kindness meant to me

* Live well, laugh often, love much.

*May every part of your birthday have happy in it!

*Words cannot express how thankful I am for everything you have done.

*You are in our thoughts and prayers

* May your life be filled with health, happiness, love & laughter

*Thanks – an acknowledgment of appreciation or an expression of gratitude.

Now that is an IMPRESSIVE line up of coordinating sentiments/verses. The font is perfect for every style too!

Now on to the flourishes

—————————————————–

Fanciful Flourishes $20 Set of 21

Everyone could use a fancy flourish set! This set has a nice variety of various large and small flourishes. It is nice to have a variety to suit any project. There are also some pretty leaves and flowers that will allow you to easily build your own “flowering” flourished vine pattern! OR of course use them alone in any fashion. These pieces being separate allow you to easily create multicolored designs and various placement options. Another great feature is the dashed lines! They look so soft and elegant. They can be pierced in between to make them appear like they were “stitched”. The perfect addition to any creation.  If you like the flourishes in this set, and you are looking for some sentiments to coordinate, you just may want to see our So Sentimental © Pretty Impressions stamp set!

——————————————————-

Now how about seeing these 2 stamp sets in action on a card?

With Love

with-love.JPG

This is a card for my husband-all blue. His favorite color. I LOVE the Argyle Amazement © set too. Makes a quick backgrounder. Then when I was done I thought it may be too girly? Lots of “flowers”. Oh well, at least I actually made him a card finally.

Anyway, I love how this came together.  One of the tags from Tag You’re It © cut file being part of my focus. I used the flourish as a “stem”, then added a crochet flower, and small Prima flower.

 detail-tag.JPG

Here you can clearly see how well the sentiments and verses work together! The sentiment is one I say to my husband often (and my children)and HAD to include it. It’s so perfect.

I actually hand cut the frame but them decided that a cut file was NEEDED!! Thank goodness for that, because now we have a much smoohter, cleaner looking look 😀 You will see the difference too! Plus one can never have too many frame choices.

Here are the supplies from today’s project:

Supplies:

Perfect Peeks Day #3

Feb 27, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items, My Time Made Easy

Well by now you can count down the HOURS to our March 1st Release at My Time Made Easy ™ LLC!

Im so excited about everything we have to share. This has been just the BEGINNING of the project samples and ideas we as a team have to share!

I have my own things to share using Card Catch All ©, (you will LOVE this one!) which was featured by 2 members of my team yesterday, as well as 2 of our stamp sets So Sentimental © and Fanciful Flourishes ©.   Those will be featured tomorrow. For today’s project feature we have a Pretty Packaging © template called : It’s A Shower.

This is a Pretty Packaging © template you are sure to fall in love with!

Today both Kristin Bueter and Tracey Cuccia will be sharing some gorgeous projects using this new template with you today!

First we have Tracey Cuccia

tcuccia-its-a-shower-peek-f.jpg

Here is what Tracey had to say:

“I’ve been to soooo many bridal and baby showers, it’s just not even funny…my sister-in-law jokes that that move ’27 dresses’ was about me, lol.  Anyway, more so nowadays, a lot of people don’t really have umbrellas at their showers, and I think that’s a shame.  I think it was a fun tradition, and love the one my Mom made for me, but it’s so big, I can’t really display it anywhere.  One of Lauren’s latest templates, It’s a Shower can bring back that dying tradtion, in a new, fun way…let me show you how…”

For more details please visit Tracey Cuccia

Also Kristin Bueter has a peek

mtme-201003-cu1.jpg

Here is what Kristin had to say:

I am in LOVE with the “It’s A Shower” template!  The unique design lends to a flood of mojo just looking at it.  I chose to keep this project simple to show you that EASY assembly can still look awesome!  so be sure to visit Kristin Bueter as well!

Now time for the details!

It’s A Shower ©

 umbrella-sample.JPG

I have to say I truly LOVE this amazing template for SO many reasons.

It’s A Shower © is the PERFECT template for so many occasions! I have long awaited a 3 dimensional umbrella template. (NOT SHOWN) It also has a scallop layer that fits perfectly around the inside trim too!! LOVE that feature.

This template can be easily resized to suit so many purposes!

Fill it with paper flowers, candy, bath salts/petals, tea lights or whatever else you choose!

umbrella-done2.JPG

Use it as a Wedding or Baby Shower centerpiece, party favor, or decoration. This is easily customizable for any colors scheme, occasion or decor.  You can resize it, and even fold it in half to create the PERFECT three dimensional umbrella for the invitation or thank you card. Perfect for sending “sunshine” or those “cheer up” cards too! How about a “showering you with”: love, well wishes , hugs, and kisses.

umb-side-view.JPG

This template is certain to shower your creative side with ideas!

For my project today I used some chocolate cardstock to create my umbrella.  I chose to decorate the panels using the umbrella pattern from  Loving Heart © Pretty Printables digital paper. That paper is what spurred this template creation!

I created my handle base in kraft and the “handle” in red.

A friend of mine who LOVES Starburst Jelly Beans have been having a rough few days, so I  made this for her, and filled it with those.

umb-5.JPG

I then wrapped it in some Tulle.  You can find some in the Bridal section of your craft store. Rather large rolls for about $2-$3.

I used the FAB Fanciful Flowers © Cut File to add a few flowers to the umbrella.

When I dropped it off at her office people went NUTS! Many asked if I did special orders (Um, NO! But you can make it yourself! LOL!) That felt good too.  I stamped the tag in the back (forgot to photograph that part! DUH!!) with the “sending you sunshine” sentiment from the You’ve Got Mail © set. I love that sentiment.

My tag was stamped with the frame and flourish in the NEW! So Sentimental Set. I love the tag!

There is something about SIMPLE sometimes.

So that does it for today. It is the last day of school vacation and I am off to a sledding event with the kids sponsored by the Childhood Cancer Lifeline group. It is really nice to have organziations that reach our to families like this so you can meet and connect with others who have had similar expieriences, or just be a “normal” family again.

Visit Mona Pendleton to see more!

Yesterday I shared this little peek with you:

    choice-tag.JPG

Now let’s see how many NEW! Release items you REALLY got a peek at shall we?

You actually saw 4 pieces to our NEW! Release

    1) The Tag

That is from a NEW! Pretty Pieces Cut File called Tag You’re It ©It features 4 different tags in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, and WPC formats. You can never have too many options when it comes to tags! This is one in a set of 4 tags!

    2) Stamp Set

The title on the tag reads “Bringing Home Baby”, and features an adorable little stork!! Obviously we have a baby theme going!!

The stamp set is called : Bringing Home Baby © and is a Set of 27 images! ( Details further down)

PS: Those of you wanting NON-BABY stuff hang in there! We have more to share I promise

    3) The Flower/Leaf

Fanciful Flowers © Pretty Pieces Cut File

Available in SVG, GSD, DXF and WPC format It is so true…..you can NEVER have too many flowers!! This file has 6 flower shapes, a center, and perfect leaf shape!

    4) The Pretty Packaging © template

Obviously the tag and flower are attached to SOMETHING! But what?

Well, as you know the main focus of MTME is coordination. Making cards, tags, and gift items easier and more affordable than ever 😀

That being said….. What comes to mind when you read Bringing Home Baby?

    baby-2.JPG

How about a Bouncing Baby Buggy © Pretty Packaging template!

Finally! I have been dying to share this with the world for over a year! Yes, a YEAR!

I fell in love with this when it all came together!

That is one of the hardest parts of the industry-hurry up and WAIT. The best part to the “wait” with this was the fact that during that “wait” I was able to design a coordinating stamp set, with everything I personally have always wanted to accompany my Bouncing Baby Buggy Pretty Packaging © template.

This template was actually fashioned after this baby decoration—-> CLICK HERE

and a combination of these baby favors —–> HERE SOOOO CUTE!!!

    buggy-2.JPG

I used the Fanciful Flowers © Pretty Pieces Cut file on the carriage front, and to decorate the wheels! As you can see they perfectly match the A Loving Heart Paper!! I also accented it with the GaGa for Gingham paper

This template also coordinates with the Pretty Impressions © Bringing Home Babystamp set, and the Pretty Printables © Bringing Home Baby digital paper collection.

Upon first glance this is an amazing 3 dimensional baby carriage template!  Perfect for welcoming new baby, shower gifts/favors, or decor. It can hold so many wonderful baby gifts!

    yet-another-babe.JPG

Here I have a set of my first born (Alexa) baby booties and bonnet. The one she wore to her Dedication when she was just 21 days old. She was Dedicated to the Lord the day before her open heart surgery, in the hospital chapel where our pastor traveled to do the ceremony for me. I have NO idea how I got through that ceremony! It was so hard. Alexa had a formal dedication a few months after her surgery.

    side-view-carriage.JPG

In the actual carriage is a handmade bonnet that one of my old Stampin Up! customers made for me when I was expecting my third child- Amber. It is a special bonnet that is later turned into a handkerchief for when your daughter grows up and gets married! She has her “something old”. Lordy! That gets me teary just TYPING it!! To think that someday my “babies” will grow up or even marry. Or the fact that her baby will wear it someday! Goodness gracious.

    carriage-back.JPG

As you can see this template has  the realistic look of an English Pram stroller. You wouldn’t believe it is all made from cardstock! From the perfectly pleated hood, darling decorative panels, to the wonderful wheels, there is no better way to package up a gift for baby.  Do not be fooled by this “baby carriage” template. It can also double as a beautiful basket, when you use just the bottom! Fill it with a plethora of gifts from a planter, candy, candles, baked goods, get well care package, spa essentials, treats for the kids……create a wheel barrow for the gardener in your life…. or make it a half egg for Easter! You can even use our fabulous Cute Critters © Pretty Pieces cut files to make the base of this a animal body (just resize it to about 80% its original size)!

One template, endless possibilities. You will see those later this week.

    stork.JPG

Here is the back of the baby buggy.

It is the perfect place for a hand stamped tag! You could even place the baby name, or birth statistics back here for a keepsake that mom & dad will cherish forever!

Here is the sweet stork closer up!

    stork-close.JPG

He is the larger version of the stork on the tag you saw attaches to the front of the carriage.

I just colored the stork in with my Copic Markers. I stamped the solid baby bundle image inside the outlined image, then used my copic markers to doodle some flowers that match my Fanciful Flowers © Pretty Pieces Cut File and my A Loving Heart ©Pretty Printables digital paper.

The ribbon is May Arts! Just GORGEOUS!

    gift-set.JPG

    More about the stamp set:

Bringing Home Baby © is a Set of 27 images!

Stamp set designed to coordinate with the Bouncing Baby Buggy © Pretty Packaging template, and our Bringing Home Baby © Pretty Printables digital paper. This is the PERFECT baby stamp set! I have combined must have sentiments with the main images I have always longed for in a baby set, and it is definitely gender neutral! Not only does it have the essential baby themed sentiments, but it has the key images to define “bringing home baby”.

We have an adorable stork! You can color it in, or use the solid image for quick and easy creations. There is also a smaller version so you can make coordinating tags, or other gifts. There is also the PERFECT baby carriage that resembles a English Pram Stroller-you can color it in, use the solid images in the set to quickly and easily add color, or build your own using the solid pieces. The carriage in this stamp set was designed coordinate with the Bouncing Baby Buggy © Pretty Packaging template.

Not only can you make fabulous cards, and tags but baby gifts, decor or gift packaging!

    Sentiments include:

    Bringing Home Baby

    For the new arrival

As always, thank you for taking the time to stop by!  I hope you are excited about what we have shared today and what is to come tomorrow. I’m so excited it feels like March will never get here. Each month is like Christmas to me.

I feel so grateful to be able to take something that I so LOVE doing (and totally believe in with every bit of my heart) and be able to share it with the world. To have a group of people who understand the joy, and feel the same passion for giving handmade cards/tags/gifts is just wonderful! It has proven to not only be a great outlet but truly the gift that keeps on giving when such is passed on to others.

Thank you all for letting me share my passion with you each time I create something.

    See you tomorrow!!

    Let the releases begin!

Feb 25, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Pink Cat Studio

    Hi everyone!

I’m back! Finally. The kids are on vacation, and we all got the worst tummy bug the last few days. THAT is never fun. Jay and I were also sick at the same time, so that makes it even harder taking care of the kids. Usually only ONE of us gets sick first, but not this time. Thankfully it didn’t last too long.

Anyway we are all on the mend now!

Hope you are all enjoying whatever weather you are having. We had now yesterday, rain today. Poor Jay. He got a snowmobile this winter and hasn’t gotten to use it much at all. Usually in New England we get slammed with snow, and this season has been relatively MILD. Don’t tell him, but I don’t mind too much! Getting the kids all done up in their winter gear is exhausting.

I’m getting ready for the My Time Made Easy ™ LLC March Release. Peeks start tomorrow!!

You all begged for peeks so this time we will give it go!

Here is a snippet of a sample of what is to come!

    choice-tag.JPG

There is something for everyone this release….wait until you see….

    card-tag.JPG

    More tomorrow!

But to get your new stamp fix TODAY Pink Cat Studio is having their February Release!!

    Lookie what we have here…..

    pcs_feb2010_rubberrelease.jpg

Check out the store today to get yours —>HERE!

You HAVE to see all the Design Team samples! They are AMAZING! Check out the PCS Blog–>HERE!

Could it get any cuter?!! Melissa is just so amazing. I LOVE her stuff! LOVE!

I especially love the Sick Lily and Billy!! I so should have remembered to pull those out to play this past week. Instead I had too much fun using all three of the Lily Bug images!!

Now I don’t know what it is but I am in quite the CARD funk!! Obviously it certainly has NOTHING to do with the UBER cute images :D. Between designing stamps, templates and cut files my brain just doesn’t want to think CARDS! So I apologize for the lack of that certain something that is missing.

    Hello Friend Lily Butterfly

    hello-fairy-flower-friend.JPG

OBVIOUSLY she was going to be my absolute FAVE! I don’t think she could possibly get cuter!

I so enjoyed coloring her. I normally would go with PINK or PURPLE but tried to step outside my little color box! And normally she’s have blond hair! So I was proud of that.

I got this paper pack and cannot for the life of me remember when, or where! I loved the flowers along the bottom of one of the pages. There are some funky flowers in it, and some lady bug paper (scroll down for a peek at that).

I decided to layer the flowers on to a tag (part of my next release!). I uses a rub-on and a epoxy sticker for my sentiments here.

Now here is a quick project Amber did for her BFF Emma

    amber-with-pop.JPG

Being the “bad mom” I am (as this party fell mid release week for me) we didn’t make a card (GASP!) I KNOW! I’m awful! Trust me I have plenty of guilt! I so should have used the craft hour the day before to do that with her, but totally spaced. I was lucky enough to remember to take her shopping for the gift! LOL! I’m sure some of you can relate.

So the morning of the party I told Amber we had to make a quick tag instead. I mean QUICK! The bag was pink and purple (see told you I love those colors! LOL!) and so I had Amber stamp and color Lily. I gathered all the Copic markers in the colors we needed (yes believe it or not my 5 yo is allowed to use my precious Copic markers! She does a wonderful job and takes good care of them!), and she got to work as I wrapped the gift.

She colored her (except for the cheeks) and I cut her out because we had like 10 minutes left till we had to leave for the party.

    lily-pop.JPG

We punched a flower out, punched a hole in the center, and grabbed a Blow Pop!

Amber signed it ( with pop in flower because I didn’t even think to just slide it out I was in such a flurry) then we taped it to the bag and we were done!

I BARELY had time to get a photo. But she was proud so I took the 3 minutes we didn’t have to make sure I got at least these.

I would have liked to at least wrap the pop with tulle and wrap the stick but Emma didn’t care. She was happy to get a candy tag.

    OK moving on….

    Lily Bee

    fairy-best-bee.JPG

She has a beehive hair do and all! Love it. I had this paper from Basic Grey for what seems like over a year, and have FINALLY got around to using it. It actually became my inspiration for my colors. Again I would have gone with other colors typically….but was so happy to try something different.

The sentiment is from another PCS set: Fairy Friends

I thought is was cute, even though she is a bee! LOL! She is a bee fairy to me.

    OK another cute lil bug….

    Lily Lady Bug

    lady-meader.JPG

This one used that Lady bug patterned paper and some ?Cosmo Cricket paper I believe. I love mixing paper companies/patterns/colors.

Now this is the typical Lily color scheme you’d see from me and yet my least favorite of the creations! LOL! GO FIGURE!

I kept it sweet and simple. I love the colors, but my layout was truly lacking something. I needed a sentiment but it just never came together. See we all hit walls and ruts. If the release wasn’t today I would have let this sit until something sparked my fancy. I should have used a sentiment that came with the set, but I wasn’t seeing where. Probably that upper right corner, but it may have unbalanced the card…anywho….what is done is done.

I hope you enjoy all the eye candy from the team! You really need to check it all out.

Please come back tomorrow as you will NOT want to miss what we have to share. For the next 3 days some team members and I will be taking turns sharing peeks at what is to come from the MTME March 1st release! Something for everyone.

The Pretty Packaging © templates alone will leave your jaw on the floor-I promise!

    See you then.

    Scent-sational Critter

Feb 21, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items, My Time Made Easy

Hi world!! How are you all doing these days?

Im back and I have something to share! Don’t be shocked! LOL! I know the last 3 months I’ve been busy, and I am hoping that will change at some point so I can get back to sharing DAILY! I miss it. I miss all of you.

Yes I am here. Running a business and a family is a lot more work than one might think! I have my hands in every single part of this process, and it is keeping me busy. A good busy and I’m loving every second. Anyway, I am here, and what time I’ve had has been going into My Time Made Easy ™ LLC or my children and husband.

We’ve certainly kept busy here. Now the kids are on vacation, we’ve had class parties, been bowling, roller skating, to the children’s museum, celebrated Gabby’s first birthday….and there has been so much more! More on that some other day.

I’ve been creating so many projects that mainly all need to wait to be shared! However I do have one that I made for Alexa.

    Scent-sational Skunk

    skunk-soap-2.JPG

Last month I released 2 Cute Critters called Whooty-Love © and Heart Stealer Raccoon ©. They were based on the stamp images from Critters with Heart ©. They were such a hit! I thought it would be fun to show you that with a little imagination and you can whip up all sorts of cute critters using elements from each one!

    skunk-soap.JPG

If you don’t recognize what this was designed from I will tell you-this was created using the elements from Heart Stealer Raccoon Cut File and the Under Cover © template! Raccoon turned Skunk! Now think of all the animals you could get creating!

    siade-skunk.JPG

Now the belly on this is from one of the next additions to the Cute Critters © line up! You will see more on this the 27th! Mark your calendars for that 😀 The next 2 additions will open up even MORE possibilities. These are FUN and easy kid friendly projects too!

If you are wondering WHY a skunk…..Alexa has a love/hate relationship with skunks. She loves them, yet is truly terrified of them! LOL! It’s very strange. When we go to a children’s outside nature museum called Squam Lake she LOVES learning all about the Skunks. She reads books about them, draws pictures and everything, yet when faced with one she FREAKS that it is going to spray her. She even has nightmares about them being in her room. I can’t explain it really. When she sees skunk stuffed animals though she wants one! Anyway…..for Valentines Day I made her a skunk box!

    skunk-face.JPG

Did you even think a SKUNK box could be so cute? I’m in love with it. She is even holding a flower bouquet!

I used all the raccoon elements here. I cut the Under Cover © template, ear base, face base, nose, arms, legs and tail in black cardstock. Then I cut the face heart from white, along with the ears, and tail again. Instead of the Raccoon face (eyes/mask) I used the nose and Googly eyes to create a skunk face. So easy and super cute!

I just cut the white part of the tail to fit in the center all skunk like.

Inside this box is the YUMMY scented bar of soap! Alexa loves this scent, so I’m giving it to her. She always gives me a hard time about taking a shower in the morning, so I’m crossing my fingers this helps! LOL!!

    Thanks for stopping by.

I hope you are all enjoying your own families and get some creative time in. I have received many emails from many of you bloggers sharing your MTME creations with me and I LOVE it! Thank you for sharing what you’ve done with me!

    Be back soon.

In the meantime enjoy your family creative time!

    Surprise Mail

    ·         lavender-1.JPG

I LOVE getting mail! I LOVE using this Pretty Packaging © template to GIVE mail 😀

This is a little gift set I created using one of the newest Pretty Packaging © templates “You’ve Got Mail ©”. I used the You’ve Got Mail © stamp set too to accent it. They are a perfect match, but one doesn’t need the other.

I LOVE the flower image in the set. So many occasions it could be used for.  I dragged out some little silk flowers I had in my stash to accent the front. I LOVE how it turned out.

     lav-topper.JPG

It is the most perfectly sweet mailbox to give all sorts of treats in.

I used mine to hold a smaller size body lotion. I plan on giving these to the teachers for Valentines Day! I was able to whip these right out!

I did shrink this a little. I believe by like an inch or two. I don’t remember exactly-sorry! The body lotion is a perfect fit. Nothing you’d expect to get in here!

    lacvender-2.JPG

I used my Argyle Amazement © on the side panels to add to the floral pattern of the box. Simple and EASY PEASY.

I think they will appreciate these “from the kids”. Teachers work SO hard and deserve a lil something every now and again.

    Supplies:

Pretty Packaging © template: You’ve Got Mail

Pretty Impressions stamps: You’ve Got Mail, Argyle Amazement

    Ink: Black, Copic markers

Cardstock from Couture Cardstock: OSW white, Carousel & Fortune Teller

Ribbon from May Art, Adhesive Rhinestone, Silk Flowers

Thank you again for all the support and taking the time to visit. I am just DYING to see what YOU all create with any if our new release items! Be sure you share when you post!

    Till tomorrow!

    For the love of Argyle

Feb 8, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, My Time Made Easy, Uncategorized

Can you believe the I still have SO much more to share?

Tomorrow the entire team gets together to post yet ANOTHER amazing gift ensemble using elements from the latest My Time Made Easy ™ LLC Release!

Now today we have a peek from Catherine Doucette

    mtme-welcome-home71.jpg

    Words from Catherine

I just love the “You’ve Got Mail” Pretty Impressions Acrylic Stamps from the February release!  Take a look at how I used them to “build” my house!   I love to use my stamps to create custom backgrounds, and even use them for something totally unexpected…like a stamp window for a house :0)

Wait until you see her creation!!! Click HERE!

Myself, the design team, and YOU the customers have just fallen in LOVE with Argyle Amazement ©. It is easy to see why! This is a background building set, unlike any other I have seen, that just like its name-is AMAZING!!

Argyle is one of the hottest pattern trends right now! It is literally everywhere and I LOVE it. My girls especially have lots of clothing with the fabulous pattern.

You will be totally amazed at how quick and easy you will be building backgrounds, or using this set as the main focus or accent over and over again. It has elements to make things masculine, elegant, clean, simple or whimsical. Scroll down on my blog the last week and you will see this set used on just about every project possible.

So let me share a couple QUICK samples!

    I’m tight on time today.

I have 3 samples specifically using the Argyle Amazement © set today, all with relatively similar layouts, but different color schemes to show you have it can go from Primary color WOW! to muted monochromatic colors, to the soft pastels for a baby card.

    Summer Time

    argyle-side-2.JPG

I used just the trio diamond flower pattern from Argyle Amazement, stamped on my cardstock in a staggered pattern, in chocolate ink. I then dusted off my copic markers to color it in! I had a blast. It actually came together VERY quickly. The main layer is cut with a circle, then layered onto a scallop circle.

    so-perfect.JPG

This color combination just warms me up! It is like the sun on a perfectly warm summer day. I love this sentiment "Perfect in every way".

I had to use the All A Flutter ©set to make it appear that they were flying around this summer argyle garden. Butterflies stamped in red, and colored with markers and a Copic Spica glitter pen for some POP!

Then onto a darker, more muted combination.

Argle paired again with the All A Flutter © set

    argyle-2.JPG

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pattern this made! With all the options in the set the combinations, and color schemes are so endless.

As you will see, if you scroll around on my blog, I used the flourish flower argyle A LOT! I am just in love with it! That pattern is actually the flowers in the Pretty Printables paper collections this month!! Too fun.

    argly-close-up.JPG

I added the similar wing print in the cross pattern to the butterfly.

The colors more monochromatic here . I defnitely think it has some elegance to it. I’m keeping the occasion options open on this one by leaving it blank. I love the pearl accents I added to the butterfly, ribbon and flower centers.

In the bkgd I stamped a sentiment from the All A Flutter Sentiment set too.

Now lets get to a quick and simple baby card

    best-wishes2.jpg

Admitedly very clean and very simple. There is however dimention to it that isn’t coming across in the photos (I swear! LOL!)

Sadly my lighting was a bit brighter than I realized, so you can’t get the full effect of the argyle :C Had I noticed how bright it was I would have re-taken them for my post today. Oh well.

The pattern in this one is stamped in brown, and it has a crosshatched texture diamond in a celery, and a turquoise diamond in solid, alternating patterns. Really fun and easy.

    best-wishes-baby1.JPG

I used the little carriage that comes in the newly released You’ve Got Mail © set to make this into a baby card. SUPER SIMPLE!

The sentiment is from a set named So Sentimental ©. It is NOT released yet. Just a TINY peek at what is coming.

So that is all. Now you can see how one set using virtually the same layout can look so different. Make sure you scroll down to check all the samples that I’ve been posting. There is SO much that has been shared from today’s post to how to use the Cricut and SCAL as well as the awesome value in our Cut Files! I am hoping our gallery will be ready at some point. It is a lot of work and very time consuming. I want to ensure it doen’t have any glitches or CRASH if we have X number of people loading or accessing it. So hold tight on that. There will be a place we can all share our MTME creations soon.

Soon I will do a tutorial for those of you who are SCARED to try the digital paper, and NEED to see how super easy it is, as well as why it is SO cool, or want to see the cost effectiveness of printing your own! So be looking out for that.

Well I need to run. It’s Valentines week for the kids so I need to prepare all the supplies for them to complete their Valentine projects and class Valentines!! As I stated before I will share their completed projects.

Thank you so much for stopping by and sending me those super sweet comments and emails. I read every single one, and appreciate any time you take to stop by 😀
    See you back here tomorrow!

    The Perfect Package

Feb 6, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: My Time Made Easy

    I’m back!

Make sure you check out all the posts I have shared the last week or so! They are JAM packed with ideas and inspiration.

You will want to read this to the end because we have added a new category to the store 😀

Hope you are having a great weekend. I’m making my post today short and sweet. I spent the day with my niece and have a Super Bowl party to prepare for.

Its been a while since I posted so many days in a row!! I have been a creating machine….and have shared so many various ideas that I hope you have gained some source of inspiration to get creating your own projects in no time.

Pam has a great post to share today. Here is a PEEK

    pam_febpeekforlauren.jpg

    Words from Pam

Hey girls – do you struggle to make some fun stuff for the men in your life? Husbands, or dads, or sons, or grandpas or brothers or uncles…

etc? If so pop over and check out my little project for you today.

I’ve used both stamps and a template for you. I hope you’ll enjoy it. 🙂

    Check our her blog—>HERE!

I figured it would be a good time to highlight one of our newest Pretty Packaging © templates Under Cover ©. This is a super cute template with SOOOOO many uses and possibilities. You can use it as it is….add a window, make it a shaker box….or of course use it with the Cute Critters Cut Files– Heart Stealer Raccoon ©, and Whooty-Love ©

Today I am sharing the sample that is on the website. This uses some of the products from last month’s release.

    kisses2.JPG

This box was filled with truffle filled Hershey Kisses! An entire bag fit in here!

I created the slider cover from Rusty Hinge cardstock. I then added an additional patterned paper layer that I printed using the Pretty Printables Fluttering By © collection. I  combined 2 patterns from the collection to make my own customized pattern. I printed the text in the pink color, then the daisy pattern over it. It made for a stunning pattern. It was fun to customize that.

    bfly-cover-close.JPG

I used my Cricut Expression with the circle that comes in the software to add a window (for both the slider and decorative cover). I did make the decorative cover circle a 1/4 inch larger. I then covered the circle opening with acetate. The acetate is sandwiched between the pattern paper and slide base layer.

    decor-cover.JPG

This uses the All A Flutter © image set.

I stamped the butterfly on the acetate window in white stazon, and brushed on some pearlescent pastels.

I stamped the butterfly again on acetate, repeated the pastels, then cut out, attached with a clear glue dot and popped wings forward. So simple, so easy, and so pretty.

I added some flowers, and May Arts ribbon.

    another-side-clover.JPG

For the slider portion of the template, I used the Rusty Hinge colored polka dot pattern from Shutt-erfly © Pretty Printables paper. It was the Perfect accent to the box. If you haven’t tried the paper you should! Its STUNNING!

If you love the look of this collection, you will love what I am about to share next.

We have put together a NEW! Collection of items for you called the Perfect Package ©—->Click here

Now you can choose from 2 different packages, and get a collection of select items at a discount!! Be sure to check it out.

We have a few more collections being added Valentines Day too!
