In honor of our November Release each member of the design team has put together a Happy Holiday idea just in time for the holiday season!!

You will see two samples for each of the four templates we released!

Be sure you take the time to visit each one of our talented design team members for a unique idea:

  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz Sleigh Ride
  • Kathryn Berthiaume Tri-It
  • Katie Cotton Cover-Alls
  • Kristin Bueter Tri-It
  • Lisa Kind Sleigh Ride
  • Monique Hansen To the Point
  • Tangii Crain Cover-Alls
  • I am using a new template called To The Point.

I know we are coming upon the Thanksgiving and the Christmas Season, but also celebrated this time of year is Hanukkah.

As far as gift packaging goes, Hanukkah themed packaging can be hard to come by, let alone finding something that is unique and versatile enough to be used all year long.

So let me share this one with you 😀

    To the Point/Dreidle Box $5

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    7 1/2 Inches Long

    3 Inches Wide

    3 Inches Deep

To the Point/Dreidle box is going to quickly become your favorite go to Pretty Packaging Template!

This is a versatile template because both of the box ends can be designed to tucked in, creating a pointed end,

or they can be left out, creating a rounded end, which create a softer, petal like end.

You can use this for a gift package for all seasons, or use it as a lantern, or holiday ornament! Put some family photos on the panels, and you now have an photo keepsake to showcase all year long.

Make one end rounded, and the other pointed and you have a dreidle!

This allows you to create a versatile box, with endless possibilities, and that brings me to explain how it is designed to be so versatile!

    Dreidle

Obviously this Pretty Packaging Template was fashioned after the dreidle, which is one of the best known symbols of Hanukkah. A four-sided top with a Hebrew letter on each side, the dreidel is used to play a fun Hanukkah game of chance.

A dreidle is a spinning top in which the four sides of the top bear four Hebrew letters.

The four letters which appear on the four corners of a dreidel allude to the miracle of Hanukkah. They spell out: Nes (N-miracle), Gadol (G-great), Haya (H-happened) and Sham (S-there, meaning in Israel).

The Hebrew letters are included with this template!

    (click photos to enlarge)

     nun

     gimel

     hei

     and shin.

To create this box, you point the tabs of one end in, and fold the tabs of one end out. You then have a fancy & fabulous dreidle box!

In my sample I used the frame image from the Occasional Labels © set, and stamped the Hanukkah sentiment from the Sentimental Occasions © set. The tag was cut out using the Occasional Labels © Pretty Pieces Cut File.

In my dreidle I packaged up some silver playing coins that I found in the dollar store. I plan to package up some candy to, so the kids have what they need to play the game.

Now to add it the versatility of this Pretty Packaging Template, you can alter it to create gifts all year round!

    Petal Point

When you fold both end out, so the rounded edged come together to form a petal like end of the box. You can use pretty ribbons to tie the box closed, or use removable adhesive.

(you will see my version of this sample soon!)

    To the Point

When you fold in the ends to create pointed ends of the box. This allows you to make a more masculine styled box, and just another various design you may find fun!

So, as you will soon see, there are MANY options for this amazing new template!

Well, I really hope you all have enjoyed seeing the previews of what we have coming today. I look forward to sharing more with you tomorrow, so come back then!

    Thanks for stopping by today!

I have so much more to share before we celebrate our official November Release.

    Also sharing projects today are:

  • Kathryn Berthiaume
  • Lisa Kind
  • Monique Hansen
  • I really don’t know where to start, and what to share next! I think given the fact we are heading into the holidays I will share a fun holiday themed template, that I think is so adorable.

    Sleigh Ride $5

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

     3 3/4 Inches Tall

    4 Inches Wide

    6 1/2 Inches Long

Here is our completed sample which looks amazing!

Sleigh bells ring, as Santa delivers gifts all over the world! Now you can be just like Ole’ Saint Nick, and send along your own sleigh full of holiday cheer!

How fun would it be to see someone present your gift in this?! This Pretty Packaging Template was designed for you to perfectly present a variety of gifts, or use as centerpiece on your holiday table, under the tree or as a decoration throughout your home!

Here I took a simple brown paper lunch bag, filled it with a variety of candy and $ store mini toys/stickers, and piled it into the sleigh.

Using brads I punched two holes into the front, and strung through my gold cord.

I have long awaited a sleigh template, and this was well worth the wait. I love the design, and what it can hold. Don’t forget you can resize it to suit your needs too.

Of course no sleigh would be complete without this guy!

I HAD to have Mr. Claus standing next to this sleigh full of joy!

I printed him 4 or 5 times first. I then colored and cut out one main Santa, and then picked and chose to multi-layer several of the pieces on him for a very realistic look. It was so fun and therapeutic!

Doesn’t he look so realistic? I added some three dimensional glitter to hit pom pom, hat and coat trim. Liquid lears adorn his buttons. I can’t tell you how fun he was to use. We are also releasing a fun My Deer Friend cut file, that you will want to see as an excellent addition to this template purchase 😀

I also love that he is holding a little gift in his hand 😀 In the set, you can add whatever you want to his hand! Be it a gift, star, or a plate of cookies 😀 You could easily add some homemade cookies in here too! YUM!

The paper I chose is from the Timeless Tradition © collection, which was released last year. I love the pattern, and felt is allowed me to dress this up without too much effort.

    Just print, cut and go.

For the back end of my sleigh I tied some gold ribbon and added an acrylic snowflake. Simple & easy. As I’ve said before ALL sides of a project should be complete.

    Cover-Alls $5

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    6 Inches Tall

    3 3/4 Inches Wide

    2 1/2 Inches Deep

This template got its name not only from its “design” but for all the people and gifts this box can “cover” with one purchase!

This Pretty Packaging Template can become Santa, worker elf (we have an ADORABLE set of 5 elf images releasing called Holly Jolly-wait till you see it!), or scarecrow’s overalls, overalls for both boy and girl, scarecrow body, an apron for the baker, or gardener, and it can become a handyman’s apron!

    More of that to come!

This template includes a decorative panel for easy layering, belt with buckle, two pockets and of course some snaps to keep those straps in place!

Here I used mine as a baking apron, to packaged up some VERY INEXPENSIVE Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix (I think it was 62 cents!), which is a great little gift for anyone on your list. You can package any Jiffy mix in here! This could become a great favor for a baking themed party, or to give to a child for a future “cooking” leeson! So many ideas cross my mind.

So speaking of ideas, and Jiffy mixes-Check out their website! They have many mixes and recipe ideas. You could give a mix, with a recipe card with it! Simple, easy & inexpensive. Plus I already designed this sample to inspire your design idea 😀 The Farmhouse Fresh Paper Collection is a perfect match to this classic box design!

    Here are a few idea’s:

Fill with homemade treats, mixes, breads, soup, gifts in a jar, desserts, cupcakes, candies, baking items, recipes, seed packets, gardening items, mini potted plants, items for co-coworkers/teacher, utensils, gift cards to a favorite supply store, homemade candles/soaps, as well as tool or tool themed items. Makes an adorable party favor for so many events and holidays.

So some details about my sample:

My sample here uses the NEW! Farmhouse Fresh Paper Collection for my apron “fabric”. On my pockets, I stamped some cherries from the Well Preserved © set.

In the pockets are is an oven mitt, spatula, and whisk from the NEW! What’s Cookin’ set. The little tag was made using a fun sentiment from our  NEW! Yummy Sentiments set. To literally “tie in” the baking theme I used some bakers twine to tie it to the apron.

My “trim” on the apron was created using the Border Builders Open Scallop © cut file!

    There are SOOOOO many possibilities.

Here is more info about the stamps:

    Welcome back everyone!

It’s our favorite time of the month, and that is A Year In Review, the Holiday version!

The team and myself are going to be sharing our Year in Review projects, when we give you a fresh take on some older product releases!

Your virtual stocking with be stuffed with more fun ideas today!

You won’t want to miss one single project today:

  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Kathryn Berthiaume
  • Katie Cotton
  • Lisa Kind
  • Monique Hansen
  • Tangii Crain
  • So speaking of stuffing your stocking…here is my first project!

    Santa was here

That was always my first sign as a child that Santa had visited our house! I’d see my stocking on our staircased filled to overflowing. I always loved the stocking stuffers the most as a kid. Still do.

I have taken the NEW! The Stockings Were Hung Cut File, and made it into a three dimensional stocking from cardstock, that you can actually stuff!

You may want to try using this template with actual fabric of felt!

I chose to use the”old” Secret Santa © 32 Images to adorn my stocking. It was perfect!

To make this go from a simple cut file, which is perfect for dressing up any mantle, tree, card, or gift, to a three dimensional stocking. I simply printed two sheet of the “old” Timeless Tradition © polkadot patterned paper, then cut it out using the NEW! The Stocking Were Hung Cut File. The decorative pieces were cut from a cherry cardstock, and were sponged with a distressing ink.

    This is the back

I ALWAYS say to make sure your project is complete and details in all angles! This is no different.

Be sure you mirror the template before cutting the pattern, so that the patterned sides of the paper fit together, as you can see here.

Then use a really good adhesive-I actually used ZipDry, to adhere all around the edges-leaving the top open.

I was actually able to stuff this with a bunch of fun stuff. In here I have lip balm, travel size hand sanitizer, lotion and some cocoa packets!

What a fun and inexpensive project!

Even the kids can do it.

    The Stockings Were Hung

Now using the same idea that we used for the  NEW! The Stocking Were Hung Cut File, I used for the NEW! Frost Bitten Cut File!

    Frost Bitten

This is a super cute cut file that can be the perfect pennant, hung on a door, on a tree, placed atop a gift, or like here, made into a fun three dimensional pocket to hold something to warm the heart.

You can use this cut file with cardstock, fabric, or felt! Imagine the possibilities.

I used the holly berry from the Frost Bitten Cut File to adorn my mitten. I love how the holly leaf turned out. It alone can be used on a variety of other projects.

I stuffed in some tea packets, to help that someone special keep warn. This is a gift that costs pennies, takes only minutes to make, but has an amazing impact!

    A Special Occasion

Oct 2, 2011 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items, My Time Made Easy

Today the team and I have some more project ideas to share with all of you.

They have really gone all our to share some over the top ideas, so stop by and visit

  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Kathryn Berthiaume
  • Monique Hansen
  • Today I am going to use the Topped Off Template to show you some other ideas for big occasions that pop up through the years that we may get stumped on!

I’ve been sitting on the Topped Off Template for MONTHS!!! It is always hard to wait.

As previously stated Topped Off Template  is a very versatile. You get 4 toppers, with the possibility of adding some of your own “tops” to the lid. It actually was created for two tough occasions I often struggle with when giving gifts: Graduation, and Weddings/Showers.

We all love flowers, so what could be prettier than this on every table at a wedding or at your next event?

This is the epitome of elegance at its finest.

For ONE $5 template purchase (and some cardstock) you can make an unlimited amount of favors! Any bride on a budget would FLIP over this because its inexpensive, but doesn’t LOOK cheap!

Simply change the flower color to suit the Bride’s color scheme. You’d pay a several dollars a piece if you purchased these from a company. Now you can make your own time and time again.

The flower included in this template was designed intentionally to be similar to a daffodil, the flower of the American Cancer Society, as that is a cause dear to my heart and that I support year round. It is bright, cheery and sure to brighten someones day. It could also look like many other flowers by changing the color.

You can use the flower that comes with this, or even change the flower to the Brides favorite flower. We offer many amazing Pretty Pieces Cut Files that would work beautifully with this template!

This would also make some fabulous table decor at any dinner, or event. You can make them for favors at your next holiday party, use them for a garden themed party, or even at any birthday.

Fill this with seeds, flavored tea’s, scented soaps, lotions, tea lights, mini pastries or chocolates! You can add whatever you want!

    Check out this next project.

    For the Grad!

Each year as the kids progress from one grade to the next or more recently a friend of mine had her daughter graduate from high school, I wanted something fun, unexpected, and unique to present a gift in. After seeing a grad cap card,  I had the idea to add the “grad” cap to become part of my “toppers” in the Top It Off template.

I needed something to package my “cash” in, and this was perfect. I rolled it up, in a piece of white paper, and tied it like a diploma. Didn’t photograph that part-sorry! I’m sure you get the idea though.

I love making your won gifts, and having this template, you can now have a Grad cap in any school color!

I stamped the Congratulations from the Sentimental Occasions © set. I made the tassel from some embroidery floss! They sell small ones at most dollar stores around graduation time, but if you can’t find the color you want, make your own. The center of the cap I made using an iTopp brad.

Another post with some easy peasy projects.

I hope you get the versatility of this template, and are already thinking of your own occasions to use it for.

Tune in tomorrow because the team and I will share our Holiday Year in Review! You won’t want to miss it.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Top it off!

Oct 1, 2011 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items, My Time Made Easy

What a great release we’ve had so far, and the project ideas are just getting started.

Start your day off with a little creative inspiration from some of our amazing design team!

Today you will want to visit:

  • Katie Cotton
  • Lisa Kind
  • Tangii Crain
  • Be it the holidays, or any time of year My Time Made Easy ™ LLCis here to provide you with year round inspiration and gift ideas for any occasion. The key is versatility. When I design something that is always one of the first thoughts I have.

“How can this be used?” “Does it have more than one use?” ” What purposes or occasions will it work for?” “How can I take something common and make it more unique of functional?” Then comes the “How can I make this as easy as possible to create, but make it look like it took tons of time?” Especially around he holidays I look for fun, fast and functional gift ideas.

That being said, let me share another project with you using one of our latest releases: Topped Off

This template is simple and amazing. The possibilities for adding to the toppers is really endless!

Today I am sharing the super sweet Snowman.

Awe! I don’t think this could possibly get any cuter, do you?! How amazing would all your holiday treats look stuffed in here? Just change the colors and you have a new snowman every time.

This comes complete with what you need to make the cutest snowman! (and several other amazing “topper” possibilities)

You get the head, hat, snowman nose, and mittens! I used the Hearty Stripes © paper for my heart warming friend.

To complete the face, I just used some googlie eyes, and a black pen to add on the face. Some pastels for my rosy cheeks.

The “scarf” is just some pop pom trim, tied in with some pretty organdy ribbon, heated so it curls, and tied around the lid base!

    Easy peasy done.

Now that is holiday gift making at its finest!
