In honor of our December Release each member of the design team has put together a gift package using the NEW! A Box is a Box template, which has two box options for ONE price!

Now let me share some details about this amazing new template!

A Box is a Box $5

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

Completed Project Size:

5 X 5 Inches Wide

4 Inches Deep/Tall

Note: Includes 2 box options & 4 unique cut outs

Sometimes a box is *just* a box.  Sometimes it’s so much more!

It really is all about the details. The simplest detail can really have a huge impact. Often that detail doesn’t have to be over the top, just well thought out. We’ve turned your typical box into a total WOW!

With this template we’ve included (4) stunning cut outs that can be used for any occasion. The cut outs represent the symbols of the four seasons and include: Flower, Leaf, Tree, and Snowflake.

Mix and match the symbols, and use on one, two or all 4 sides. You can also use whatever other shapes/symbols you have in your collection for a new and unique creation every time! Use a monogram letter too, to further customize the package.

This template offers 2 box options, as seen above.

One option is a box base, with lid.

Here I used the lid, and cut the leaf image into the front/back panels.

To customize this gift I printed a strip of paper using the Parade of Patterns ©, and stamped the initials NV from the Monograms Defined © set, then cut a tag from the Tag You’re It ©, and hung it from my bow.

The bow around the box was created using Abra-Bow-Dabra ©.

I actually designed this box to fit larger items, like the 3 wick candles from Bath & Body Works.

This candle/holder was a gift for Amber’s teacher, for her birthday. Amber LOVES her teacher, and was excited to give this to her.

The bow slides right off the box, to present your gift.

Now you can use the 4 cut out options that come with this template or whatever other shape/symbols you have!

The other box is a box with a petal fold closure at the top.

So when just a plain ole’ box won’t do, this is the package just for you!

This box has the same roominess of the box w/lid, just a different finished look.

This will also hold those large 3 wick candles from Bath & Body Works, with room to spare.

You can see the candle through the cut out in the window. Too fun!

Use it to package up body products, coffee mugs/supplies, handmade knit/crochet scarves, hats, or mittens, socks, new baby or bridal gifts…delicious treat…whatever you decide this is the perfect box.

Decorate it to suit your gift giving needs. Here I designed my box based on my candle colors, and I created my box to match it.

This box uses the same base, but has different side options for a fun petal top closure, perfect for every occasion.

I chose to use the flower from the set of symbols for my front/back sides of this template.

Here I stamped the sentiments from the Take Time © set. The bow was topped off with the flowers stamped with  Petal Perfection © and cut using the Petal Perfections © Cut File.

Simple & elegant.

Happy Holidays!

This truly is the best time of year. A time when we reflect on the past year, look forward at what is to come, and make time by showing those we love that they truly are the most cherished to us.

I am so thankful for so many reasons. First and foremost I am thankful for the love, health, and happiness of my children, husband, mother, our family, and friends (near & far). I can say that and really mean it as I’ve been through many times where the people most dear to me weren’t blessed with their health. I know firsthand no one is guaranteed tomorrow, and each day with a loved one truly is a gift, not a guarantee. By the grace of God I can still spend time with my loved ones, and have been shown how precious time and life is. I appreciate that daily.

I’m also thankful for our home, that I get to raise our children in, and that I get to spend every moment I want to with them, as I “work” by sharing what I love doing with the world.

I’m thankful for every opportunity I have ever been blessed with, and all the people who have supported me along my journey, including my design team past/present, loyal customers, blog readers and cyber friends too. Many of you have followed me from the beginning of my paper crafting endeavours and I appreciate that immensely. As the new year approaches I have much I will share over time as I continue to evolve in this industry and share what I love with you all.

As we approach this holiday season I want to wish you and yours a wonderful year of love, health, happiness and dreams come true.

That being said this release is being kept “light” so that myself and my design team has more time to focus on and enjoy their time with their families, and not be bogged down with blog posts and assignments. Our January release will also take place a week later than usual, peeks beginning Jan. 6th to once again allow them family time during the holiday season.

So without further delay let me start with the a preview at tomorrows release (with more to come tomorrow)

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Completed Project Size:

    1 1/8 Inches Tall

    4 3/4 Inches Long

    3 3/4 Inches Wide

This fun gift box is the perfect holder for the perfect gift!

Note: Inside I chose to use the Money Well Spent ©set to cover my gift card.

Gift cards are becoming more and more popular. Who doesn’t love a guilt free shopping spree, or the opportunity to pick out something  truly loved/wanted without the cost?

Just insert any gift card into the slot, and you have the perfect presentation, every time!

With gift card giving on the rise the search for fun new ways to package them continues! Well now you can “insert card here”! The box insert perfectly holds all gift cards making it the perfect package!

This is the plain, ole insert option. Maybe you want  a cute lil’ box? Just don’t insert the gift card holder, and you have an even cuter gift box for cash, jewelry, candy, mini soaps…or whatever else you can dream up!

Perfect for the holidays, birthdays or ANY day!

Be sure you check out the Money Well Spent set   for even more gift giving possibilities!

You can keep the design super simple too!

Make it look like a LEGO by just adding some circles, on dimensionals to the top!

So many boys love LEGO’s! In fact we gave this to one of Noah’s friends for his birthday, with a gift card to Toys R’ Us, so he can pick out his own favorite LEGO gift, hassel free.

Just open the gift box to reveal your gift card! Kids LOVE IT! And the shape will throw anyone off as to what you may actually have inside!

I kept the inside simple. I used the SK8R Boy © set, with the Money Well Spent © set, so I could add the amount on the gift card.

Fun, easy and for a ONE TIME purchase you can make as many as you want/need, and customize them for every occasion.

Now you may be wondering about more the details of that bow on the first project!

    Bow-Tied $2.50

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

This is the ultimate bow made of paper! If you like the Abra-bow-dabra Cut File you will love this.

Make the perfect bow time and time again. No more wasting ribbon or hunting for that perfect color or pattern to suit your project needs because now you can make your own time and time again.

Resize it to suit your gift giving needs.

This is the perfect bow atop any Pretty Packaging Template, or add it to a three dimensional item like a centerpiece, wreath or Christmas Tree. Endless uses, endless possibilities.

Here I used the Serenity © digital paper collection to print my bow here!

    Imagine all the possibilities 😀

OK so it’s my turn to use something old, with our something new! We had so many amazing templates this month it was hard to cram all the ideas I have had into one release, especially with all the gifts I have to make 😀

Season’s Greeting to you and yours

As I mentioned upon previewing the To the Point/Dreidle Box template, this is one versatile box!

I chose to used the rounded ends for this one, and let me tell you, it is one fun gift box. I am using it to hold a box of truffles that a friend of mine is fond of.

Another great way to dress up something inexpensive, but let’s them know you care, no matter what your budget.

I love how elegant and fun the rounded out edges looked, tied perfectly closed 😀

My design all started with my Mrs. Candy Claus © paper, which I replaced the green in for a more girly feel.

I used the Well Rounded © set to create my tag, which was cut using the Well Rounded Tag © cut file.To decorate my tag, I adorned it using the Beautiful Baubles © set, which looks amazing in this tag. The sentiment that goes across the ornmement is also in that set.

Added a bow, a pink bell, and some glittery fronds and this is more than just a simple gift option.

I have many more plans for this one, and I hope I get to share them all soon!

Got holiday gifts? Cover it all!

Nov 2, 2011 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items, My Time Made Easy

We are back again for another post release project.

  • Today I have 2 NEW! Holiday themed samples, just in time for Winter.

Let’s start with some cookies for Santa!!

    This one was SOOOO easy.

I created the Cover-All template from white cardstock. I had some textured cardstock in red, and cut the decorative panel from that, then cut and assembled my belt.

It was really that easy. This came together in under 10 minutes.

You can make a bunch of these for classmates, teachers, students, co-workers, teachers, the mailman, or whoever you want to give a sweet treat to.

The bag of homemade cookies are all wrapped up and tied closed with bakers twine. The tag was punched, then stamped using the Secret Santa © set.

Now to add to the festive holiday ideas, we are always so focused on Santa, what about his very best helper-the little worker elf!

So if you have someone special on your list, you may want to give this one a try. I used the fun Candy Claus © collection for my worker elf apron.

In here I packaged up one of my favorite things (to give and receive) and that is the pre-mixed coffee drinks. Target now has a low fat option (only 100 calories) in several yummy flavors. You receive 4 for just a few dollars. MUCH cheaper than the Starbucks brand, and just as yummy.

    Pair it with something chocolate-YUM!

For the top of my coffee bottle, I needed to dress it up!

So I used the Grab a Cup © set, paired with the Fancy a Cuppa? Add-On ©set. I think this a super cute label, and far better than that plain topped metal lid.

    Doesn’t it look scrumptious?

In our house I have 3 special helpers, that an elf themed Cover-All package would be perfect for. I was thinking of making this and packaging up some cocoa mixes, marshmallows and peppermint stix!

What are you going to cover up this holiday season?

I love getting more ideas, so please share if you can!

    You have to Tri-It!

Nov 1, 2011 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items, My Time Made Easy

Well its the day after our November Release and the project ideas are just beginning!

Be sure you get some creative inspiration from the team:

  • Katie Cotton
  • Lisa Kind
  • Tangii Crain
  • Today I want to share my project sample using our latest template release: Tri-It

This is the cutest three dimensional triangle/pyramid shaped box, with 4 sides. You will definitely want to “tri-it” out! Perfect for the holidays, this Pretty Packaging Template makes the perfect party hat, Christmas Tree, or a tree for all seasons, Witch hat, candy corn, ice cream cone, or even a tent or tee-pee!

Since we are in the peak start of holiday decor and gift giving I’ll share my festive version using this template, creating the obvious….a Christmas Tree.

This sample was so quick and fun, but looks so much more complicated that it really is.

I chose to use the Timeless Tradition © collection, like in my Sleigh Ride sample, to serve as the focus, making the design aspect easy.

I had to add the sleigh from the Dashing Through the Snow ©, making it three dimensional, of course.

I glued on some festive bows to the tree top. I then used a string of faux pearls to adhere down the tree edges, for a more elegant look, and added some adhesive bling to become my ornaments on the tree.

Now you may be wondering HOW or WHERE you put your gift into this marvelous package.

The scallop layer comes with the template, but you don’t even need to use it. That being said, there is a tuck in tab in the bottom, and it holds your gift in there securely!

I packaged up these yum-azing Raffaello treats, which are a  coconut covered white chocolate truffle. It has a creamy center, with an almond in the middle! Really a must try.

I love being able to package up something that cost so little and making it that much more luxurious. After the chocolate is gone they can use this as part of their holiday decor, or re-gift it.

Lastly because I always tell you to make sure your complete the design on ALL sides of your project…here is the back of mine.

It really gives you the feeling of a pretty tree that you’d purchase for your room decor or to package up the specialist or simplest of items.

Now stepping away from the “holiday” option, you can see that this really can also become a fun and playful party hat!

Girl, boy, young or old….this is a winner!

Add some fun patterned paper (like this one from the Retro Lunch © collection) to really make this an easy wow, and perfect for any party or gift. Add some coordinating paper ribbon and it makes it even more fun and festive.

Given the tween theme (this was made for a friend of my 12 yo daughter) this was perfect!

I printed the swirl pattern from the Fanciful Flourishes © set, the fairy from Lost My Tooth ©, and used the sentiment from the Rainbow of Wishes set and then cut my tag. The colors were taken from the patterned paper.

I just put some lip gloss, nail polish and a gift card in this one.

    It was a hit!
