WHOAH!! Do I have an insane next few days!!
I have……………..
* a summer program meeting tonight
*gotta meet up with Michelle to get my class supplies
* end of year teacher gifts to get done BY FRIDAY,
* my next month’s class projects to complete (also by Friday-that may have to wait)
*I have SEVERAL releases to wrap up
*and classes to prep for
* Amber has a mini graduation the end of the week
* and ice cream party
*My actual class is Friday
*and I have a Spa day Saturday -which I was going to cancel since its Father’s Day weekend but Jay is doing house projects so he said I should just go.
*That morning before I go Noah has a t-ball game.
*Then Its Father’s Day. I need to get Jay a gift (nothing he even wants-How can that be possible?! MEN!!) I haven’t even come close to getting what I want done for that.
*I have a kids project to do for that and pray to God for about 12 more hours in a day this week.
* That doesn’t include LIFE stuff we all do like-meals, baths, homework with kids, housekeeping, kids killing each other, and whatever else I forgot. Some of what I have to do I can’t even share here yet! LOL!
WHEW!!!
I’m wishing I didn’t lay it all out like that cause it sounds impossible. Very discouraging. Anyone seen my cape anywhere?
Anyway. The end of the year really crept up on me. YIKES! Im sure it will all work out somehow. Won’t it? LOL! 😀
Im not complaining Im just thinking out in type. I live for insanity. Keeps me going.
I have more Pink Cat Peeks for you all today!! Let’s get on a happy note now.
First up-Dad is #1
Baseball Billy is adorable!! I was going to make him like a Boston Red Sox player but Im so not into sports and wanted more color. I think our players are white, with trim in blue & red. Anyway-I drew in the stripes with a white singlo get pen.
As always-Billy is colored with my Copic markers. I stamped/colored/cut the bat/ball/& glove. Love that. The mound is the clear ovals set from A Muse.
This is one of the cards I made for Noah to give to Jay. Isn’t it a cute Father’s Day card! The side panel is suppose to be like a score board. I used PTI’s Simple Alphabet for that creation of words. I LOVED the pierced arrow pointing to the score. The top needed “something” and that was perfect.
The grid is paper by Scenic Route. The star pattern is Polar Bear Press. Ribbon is by Strano (love their stuff-link on sidebar).
Now we have another a Q.T. Hooty card 😀
Waving Bye!
How cute is that owl? I didn’t want her to be brown like you all expect. I wanted her to be blue-because she is sad. There she is waving bye!
I cut her out with my scallop square nestabilties, and before taking her out of the die, sponged inside. I think she looks cute.
I so love this swatch of paper you see peeking from the bkgd (I need to look up who makes it :C) I wanted to replicate that pattern, so I inked up my CB folder in Floral Fantasy, with chocolate ink, and loved the results. I can’t recall the exact name of the technique but you get the idea.
Next up………….Last but not least-I like to call this on Choo Choo Conductor
Billy can be ANYONE he wants to be 😀
I used some punches to create railroad tracks. Then the little train chugs along. All you out there with Thomas the Train addicts will go insane for this one! He had to have a collection of trains, so I made a few. I need a good sentiment now!! I’d stamp it in that lower left corner. Ill wait to personalize this card with the child’s name. I know as a kid I loved ANYTHING with my name on it. Especially now a days. A lot of kids have different spellings or odder more uncommon names.
Remember that you can PERSONALIZE your Dress Up Billy & Lily stamps!! That is a way cool option. AND as Melissa posted, she created the sets so that the accessories for Billy & Lily can be used together! LOVE THAT!!!
So last but not least check out the Pink Cat blog-HERE! you can see all the DT samples and enter the contest!
Im on the run.
Thank you for checking in here. I’d love to hear what YOU have going on 😀 Make me feel better.
Till tomorrow.

It’s good to make a list like that! Just check them off as you complete them! I know..it sounds easy to me! lol!
Super cute cards…that Billy stamp is adorable!
Love your sneaky peaks! The top two are my faves I think – fabulous layouts and papers get me everytime! Good luck getting everything done ~x~
Hi Lauren,
Great projects! I love your blog! I have been reading your blog for about a year now, and I have to say the projects keep getting better and better. I made your shopping bag card for my daughter this weekend–a Juicy Couture version. She just loved it! Thanks for sharing all of your creativity!
Krista
I have been reading your blog and loving your work. You really think outside the box. My son is now 11, but when he was little, he was really into trains and Thomas the Tank Engine. We knew all the names of all the engines. I miss that time. When you said you needed a good sentiment, the first thing that popped into my mind was from the Bible – “Train up a child in the way he should go.” I know it’s a pun, but I think it’s great. Thanks for your wonderful inspiration. Good luck with your class and all your projects this week. Take care and God bless you 🙂
Wow Lauren! I love all your cards. Good luck with your list. I’m still trying to finish my 100 birth announcements. The baby is 5 months old, so I’m already incredibly late with that one…
Woman, I get tired just *hearing* all those things! I tend to perform better when I’m under pressure, so can understand a little, but everyday is like this for you!!! Love your cards, especially Billy in his train outfit…adorable! You’ll get it all done and everything will look like a million bucks…it always does. Boy, I wish I could take some of your classes. Michigan is just too far away…….I guess I could move LOL!
Your baseball card just gave me an awesome idea for Jason’s Fathers Day Card. Thanks because I was really stumped this year. I hope I can make it work now.
I love that owl with the glasses, she cracks me up every time I see her. I hope you are able to get everything done this week with out burning out. -Molly B
All the cards are great, but I love, love, love the train conductor! Fantastically done! Here’s a couple extra hours for you…it’s only 7am my time! Ha! :o)
Super projects Lauren. I love the Owl one especially what you did with the Cuttlebug folder & also the background behind the owl…Super job Super Woman!!!
Oh my gosh! This dress up Billy set is to die for! Did you talk Pink Cat into this? These cards are just way too cute. You’re enabling far too easily again Lauren. 🙂

Super CUte cards!!! Lovin little Billy!!! Loved your sleepover kit…my son (4) is begging for sleepover!
You’ll get it all done…you always do…one thing at a time! My husband shakes his head at me and just says “you did this to yourself”….I know, but sometimes we work better under the pressure of a million things!!!
Have a GREAT day!
Seriously I am going to have to break down and get this set!!! My son has been beyond OBSESSED with trains for the last 4 years and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight! (absoultly Thomas, but all trains really). PLUS he doens’t have a bear, he has a monkey! Its a little creepy how well the samples I’ve seen match my son! LOL!
Good luck with everything you have going on! You usually seem swamped, so you should be pretty good at it by now! LOL!
I think it’s better not to list EVERYTHING you need to do – it’s TOO scary! they will get done (somehow!) one thing at at time! (or maybe 3!?!) you certainly have your plate full – I’m going from morning to late at night between working and stamping and fitting in a few minutes with DH and making supper etc – I can’t imagine adding 3 kids to the mix!
I LOVE your cards Lauren – you make Billy so cute and fun! Love your designs on all the cards here – including the sad blue owl!
remember to breathe today!!
Girlfriend, I don’t know how you do it!! I don’t seem to have enough time in the day for life, let alone me and projects! Keep up the great work and press onward – whatever housework doesn’t get done – oh well, it will wait till tomorrow!! 🙂
*Huggs*
Love the trains!! My son loves trains so I definitely fit in the knowing a train addict category. Very cute!
I can’t wait until Billy is revealed – he is pretty handsome. I adopted Dress Up Lily and need to get this set when it comes out. Lily will be in good company – are they sister and brother or boyfriend and girlfriend? Hmmm………..is it possible for a pre-order for Billy?
Oh for the love of Pete, Lauren!! Could these BE any cuter?? I think not!! *smile*
Let me just say “GIRL, YOU BETTER TAKE THAT SPA DAY!!!!”. I adore the new dress up billy set! Cant wait to buy it! 🙂
OK, how come everything you do is awesome???? Couldn’t some of the rest of us have gotten a little of your talent???!!! We’re all about sharing, you know!!!
You know I love what you create, and you should feel so good that it’s all WONDERFUL!!! It’s such a treat to come to your blog, and see what you have done…and I still don’t know how you do so much with 3 children!!! You are amazing! 😀
All your Billy projects have been awesome. Tomorrow is my birthday so Dress Up Billy will be my gift to myself! I can’t wait to get him! The sleep over survival kit was the best!
Sheesh! What are you – a slacker or something? ROFLMBO! I totally understand having a million things going on and no time to do them… This week is realtively mild for me, but here is my list:
VBS meeting at church 9:30-11:30 (done)
Go home to eat lunch and let Noah nap (doing that now)
Go by the bread store – all kids will be begging for goodies
Head to my sister’s house to swim
Go to Rite Aid with all 4 kiddos in tow to get about a dozen things I need
Come home, change and head to a cookout that is an hour away.
Tomorrow is easy-peasy. Hubby has a dentist appt, and I have mom’s night out.
Friday is another trip to my sister’s to swim, then Ellie has cheer at 5-6, Madeline has cheer at 7-8:30. Somehow I have to make dinner happen…
Saturday – kids day at a local mall, then to my sister’s to swim, again, and normal family stuff all evening.
Sunday – Mass, set up for VBS that afternoon, and to make it more difficult, it is the 5th anniversary of my 1st sons death that day. Grrrrr.
Nest week is VBS from 8-1ish, I have a dentist appt Monday, then my normal grocery shopping, cooking every day and making sure Adron will have food while I’m out of town, and then I leave Friday morning to spend 4 days at the PTA National Convention in San Diego. Woohoo! But I need to shop for a few things to take with me. Oh, and I have a committee meeting for my smocking guild on Wednesday evening.
I guess my week just feels busier than it looks in print lol! I have some sewing that needs to get done, as well as a few digiscrap challenges I would like to accomplish before I leave. I know I’m leaving some things out, but my brain is fried today. I am just SO grateful that my 13 year old is able to watch the kiddos while I run to the store most times.
I bet that didn’t make you feel any better, huh?
Oh my! That is a lot of stuff! Just let the housework slide…that’s what I do 😉
Just love your Billy cards!!!
Lauren,
Love, love, love your blog – I feel the same way you do right now – our basement got water damage last week and the room worst hit was my craft room/office! It’s been very hard for me to get my usually projects done and I was swamped with requests for graduation cards.
Everyone is commenting on the train Billy but I have to say I love the baseball boy because we are from Nebraska and he looks like a Cornhusker – GO BIG RED! :o)
You are awesome and I know you’ll get it all done – I have had to start making lists too with three kids because I seem to have some pretty hefty brain damage most of the time! haha
Here’s to you!
Donelle
Girl, I’m exhausted just reading your blog…rofl…you have some fabulous cards here! They are all adorable…think I’ll have to get some of those stamps…VERY soon! It’s your fault I ordered from Unity…lol
Hope all goes well for you and your busyness! Whew!
