But my snowmen card is delightful, so as long as you think soooooooo, let me know, let me know, let me know!
(That sung to the tune of Let it Snow)
OBVIOUSLY this photo was taken before we had snow! I made this weeks ago, for a submission, but sadly it was rejected :C At least I think it was, cause I heard NOTHING. I should have heard by the 12th-unless they are running “late”, which I doubt, then its a loser.
Their LOSS, cause I think its just the cutest thing EVER! My layout ROCKS! Yes, it does. I am really learning that rejection is OK. There are only so many spaces, and so many amazing submissions. Plus I try to learn from it.
My card doesn’t stink at all. I think its totally publishing worthy 😀 So “I” published it HERE-myself. More people probably notice here on my blog than anywhere else, anyway.
I used the Simply Singles Snowmen, on this card. I think they are just SO cute. I paper is Holiday Swatches by Paper Salon. The snowflake retired SU! punch. I used the snowflakes embossing folder on my main layer.
We have gotten quite the snow storm. Daisy does not like to go outside to do her “business”, but rather nose dive into the heaps of snow, and slide around. Cute during the day, but at 3:30 am, not cute. She is so funny. We are starting to get a “routine”, so life is getting more normal again. She “stamped” with me today. She really enjoyed secretly chewing on the sides of my Stampin Up! cases.
SO much to do this week! Its kids parties, finishing up shopping, wrapping, baking, planning-oh boy! You too, I’m sure.
Anyway, I think I am going to have a hard time switching gears towards Valentines day, when I have been in such a Christmas mood! I can’t believe it’s almost here. I will be so sad when its over. Its been a great year for me getting in the spirit.
I already have been thinking about my New Year goals. I expect great things for this new year. I guess its good to start out optimistic.
I always make a goal list, and I am so happy to say I have gone way above and beyond my own expectations this past year!
Most importantly though I think, is that Alexa has done fabulous in school, and has not gotten too sick 😀 Thank God! She is making real friends, and loving school. I am just so proud of her.
OK I’m going to relax. I hope to share more tomorrow, and photograph what I did today, as well as get Amber’s Smilebox done.
So till then…………….

I love how positive you are about your own creations. And you’re right! I love it. GREAT layout. And I am such a color lover–these ones are fab.
it is very cute. 🙂 those are adorable snowmen. 🙂
You could submit that card to me anytime and I would never reject it. Super cute. I liked your little song to go along with it too. 🙂 -Molly B
LOL when I saw the picture I thought what the heck is she talking about…looks GREEN to me! haha!
I love that card…but I love all your cards…especially snowmen!
This card is adroable, love those snowmen and glitter, what a wonderful layout. Know what you mean about switching gears, I have started on a Valentine Day Card, so some reason I want to put an elf on it.
I think that is a great card and I do love the layout. Do you sketch all your own layouts?
This is so super cute! Totally not a loser. And that little touch of stickles is perfect! Hope you’ve had a great weekend!
Super cute card. You are such a great designer. I feel for you at night with Daisy out in the snow. I used to have to do that when we got a new puppy when we lived in PA. Now in NC, I don’t have to worry about it. It was nice training our little Gracie here. thanks for sharing.

Aren’t little doggies wonderful late at night and early in the morning, especially when it’s freezing out and they *only* want Mom to take them out???? Aaarrrrggghhhh!!! 🙂 They are so sweet though, it (almost) makes it worth it!! 🙂
Great card!! TFS!! I certainly notice them more on your blog, cuz I’m not able to get many magazines!! 🙂
that snowman card rocks – the colors and layout are simple and clean – love that look! Glad to hear your family is healthy – especially Alexa!
We got snow too! Yea… snow day today! We were out all day yesterday shoveling and playing.
We shoveled our neighbor’s driveways too and a long path down the backyard – just for Bandit. He’s a small dog and it’s hard for him to do anything, let alone his business, in deep snow.
I think your card is a winner – lovev the colors, the layout, and details!
Happy New Year too. I haven’t given my resolutions too much thought yet, but I will. Just enjoying the Christmas moments right now!
Wishing you all the best in the New Year for you and your family!
Snowy Hugs,
Renee
I love this layout and you embossed background. Totally cute!!!!
I think your card is adorable…like all your cards! I just love that background and can’t wait to get my Cuttlebug for Christmas!
Glad you and Daisy are getting a routine down…that’s great news. I love this card…that paper is so adorable!
There’s no accounting for taste! I absolutely love your card, and would reject many that I see in publications. Keep up the great work! I just ordered the same rubber stamp you used, and can’t wait to CASE your card. Thanks for sharing.
I’m ready for some snow. We’ve only had “icy mix” which may look white on the ground, but is hard and crunchy, not soft and fluffy. Can’t make a snowman out of that!
Too Cute !….. I love that little stamp!
You know how I love the snowmen.
The card is beautiful.. nice colors… neat design.
After Christmas…I will get my cuttlebug.

I love that card, it’s cute and pusblish-worthy! 😉
I’m glad you had a good year, it’s nice to be able to reflect back and be satisfied with the way things went globally! 🙂
This card is so publish-worthy! So happy that you shared it with us and I commend you on your positive outlook about not having something published. Have a happy stamping day, Beatrice
