OK I am running off for a day at my mom’s. I know I have email’s to answer, and I will do that tomorrow.
Jay and I had a great date last night. Got home late. How could we NOT have a good time? We also went shopping! You CAN’T beat that! LOL! A man willing to go to Michael’s, Target AND the dollar store-that is PERFECTION! No complaining either.
This is a quick post 😀 SORRY again its late. I didn’t want to just THROW something together, and wanted to use a unique sketch. I hope you like enough to give it a try. Its a pretty fun one I will hopefully use again.
I promised a sketch using A Chemistry With Paper, since that was what the Random.org winner chose as the featured set.
This set is called Ice Cream Party! One of my most favorite! Its the perfect Build-A-Sundae set.
I used the BKGD image, and my SU! Markers to color the words I wanted-Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla.
I always think Neapolitan when I thing Ice Cream cards! LOL!
The ribbon is from Michaels and matched PERFECTLY.
Liquid applique made the perfect WHIPPED cream topping. I little bling for the cherry.
OK I really need to run-Jay is giving me the evil eye, and the kids have their coats on.
Enjoy the day!
Tomorrow Jay is off from work, and the kids have school (except Amber) but still! Can you say YEAH!!!
Till tomorrow 😀

What a DELICIOUS card!
Seriously, this is just too cute! What a great idea for a Sundae party! You’re right, the ribbon is perfect!
Didn’t they make a candy (Brocks) that was called Napolians? Seems like I vaguely remember those. I wonder if they still make them?
Glad you had a great date night. You have one wonderful DH is he went shopping with you – not to just one store but a handful! You’re one lucky girl…. and he’s one lucky guy 😉
Gotta run!
Hugs!

Yummers!! Neapolitan also comes to my mind first when I think of making an “ice cream” card. Or if I make a card that happens to uses these colors. The colors just look so YUMMY together!

So good you had a great nite, we all deserve those. Love the ice cream card. Have fun at Moms.
YUMMIE!! Wish I could have this, but I am really trying to watch my sugar intake…However, I guess I could take just one bite. Love the card 🙂
You just amaze me! This is one yummy-lloking card. I gotta laugh – my dog has an ice cream lady and I am sure if he would want me to make one for her since they will be opening up next month. Luckily, he is taking a nap and didn’t see it! Murphy is almost 150 lb mixed Lab and he is just a big kid! The ice cream shop 1 1/2 blocks from our house gives free doggie cones instead of the usual free little cone for a human kid. They are just little small soft serve vanilla ones. Well, the first time we went there after we moved to this little town, he popped up on his back legs and had his front paws on the counter and just barked once-just like he was ordering. He was about face to face with Melissa. It was love at first sight. I didn’t know they gave free cones for dogs and I was going to order him a little dish. It wasn’t busy so she asked if she took her break could she come out and sit with us. Well, fast forward a year and he has really been spoiled. She brings him dog treats as well and he gets a free full size people cone as well. She takes her break when she can and hand feeds him the cone so he doesn’t eat it too fast and get an ice cream headache or worse (throw it up in front of other customers!). Last summer/fall she had surgery and didn’t work very much so he really missed her. We E-mailed a little. I have been trying to find a good ice cream card for the owner or the manager as the manager kept up the practice of giving him the bigger cone much to our vet’s chagrin! He makes a good spokesdog as we make the rounds around the town square and many people ask us where is a good place to get a quick bite. They make awesome sandwiches and their ice cream sandwich is my favorite. So, I think I will need to order this set. Just too cute but the ribbon makes it even better. On the people’s cones, they put a hand made chocolate by one of the cholatier’s in town so I need to find a chocolate bling but then maybe I could make a little dog biscuit for it! Thanks for all your inspiration and letting me tell my story!
Looks YUMMY!
