OMW! Someone save me! Make the power go out! lol!
I am sitting here, watching the “game”. I HATE sports and am so tryingto get into it-just for Jay, but Id rather be in labor right now than watching the game. These feeling are leading to my post-read on.
In order to not be “rude” I am in the living room with our company-on my laptop. Best of both worlds right?
The things we do for love! LOL!
Speaking of which-here is a card I made, in honor of V-Day 😀
It was made with Gina K’s Stamps for a Cause-How Sweet it is
I love this love card.
I think the glitter on the hearts really makes it special and POP! Its a pretty clean and simple card. Maybe that is why I love it.
Speaking of pop-don’t you like the bottle cap? It is by Lil Davis. I got it about a year ago, and am JUST now finding a way to use them in a cute way.
I thought doing the 2 hearts together was sweet because it says “together” and the pop cap is for the “life is sweet”, since the cap says “sweet-cola”.
OK too much thought into eh?
Anyway, after love often comes………….
BABY! Yes, ANOTHER baby card! Told you I have alot of friends having them, so I have baby on the brain.
I could NOT resist yet another stork card. I so love it. Again I feel storks are a great option for adoption or pregnancy.
Love this image as well.
I believe my paper is by Polar Bear Press. I just used some textured Bazzill cardstock, and my sewing machine on this.
The side sentiment is a Rub-On by Making Memories.
This reminds me of a soft lullaby.
OK i better get back to the “game” -BLECH.
The Patriots BETTER win!!! I would SO rather be stamping.

tee hee – I’m avoiding the game too, but we’re home alone…no company to entertain 😉
We took Shannon to see Laurie Berkner (from Noggin) today…it was GREAT, and Shannon had an awesome time…now it’s “Daddy’s time” though, as soon as Shannon goes to bed…it will be “Mytime” 😉 I’ll be heading downstairs…I was on a roll until 2 am last night…can’t work that late, but I’ll get some stamping in…
k – back to YOUR cards… I love ’em. I haven’t gotten this set yet…but it’s high on the lists, especially since it’s for such a good cause.
Hang in there!
lol…I am rolling on the floor. That was the best post!! It’s half time now…not too much longer *lol* LOVE your cards especially the top one.
I know how you feel, I hate sports. We have no co and I am on the computer and he is in the other room watching the game. I will be glad when the season is over !!!!!! LOL
By the way love the Card. Susan
These are both super cute!!! I love that you colored the stork pink rather then just leaving him white or coloring him a light grey. He looks so cute pink and he matches so nicely with the rest of the card.
I am soooooo lucky my hubby doesn’t like football! 🙂
Aw, these are so cute! And thankfully Sean doesn’t like sports so there has been no superbowl today! I’m loving your baby cards……keep them coming!
Maybe Jason will be influenced by that Victoria’s Secret commercial:
The Game is Almost Over
Let the Real Games Begin
Love your cards and sstyle, Lauren!
Hehehe, I am lucky my hubby isn’t into sport in general and he never bothers me with the superball!! On top of it he was on call this week-end so I didn’t even see him! But when he came home tonight he watched the end of the game though, just because he’s from NY… and he was happy the Giants won! 😉
I bet Jay wasn’t so happy, LOL!…
Love your cards of course. I like that the 1st one looks like a card in a card, and I love the colors and DP of the 2nd one, very sweet… 🙂
Your post make me chuckle! You’re too funny. I could just picture you sitting there “watching” the game and using your computer at the same time!
I did a little of both….watched a little of the game, then go down and stamp a little, watch a little more, stamped a little more. Talk about multi-tasking!
Great cards – love then both! Gotta run!
Hugs, Renee
Beautiful cards Lauren! My DH had to work so I got to stamp all night, not to rub it in or anything LOL :). Just had to say I am sorry about the game, I too was hoping that the Patriots were going to win !!!!!
Have a great week,
Jennifer 🙂

I’m eating breakfast right now, and I feel so lucky that it’s not all over the monitor! You’re in good company, I hate sports too! I would much rather see your artwork! Thanks for sharing it…hope you have recovered from the trauma of Superbowl. Love your beautiful cards today! I look forward to seeing what you have to share tomorrow!
Oh, and Congrats on your new design team position at Papertrey…you really make me like their stuff!
ha ha, you are too funny! I hear ya, I’m glad football season is over but now baseball is right around the corner and it’s all METS again! 🙂
I hear ya on the liking it for the guy. I’ve actually learned to like it a bit as well and do enjoy going to a baseball game now and again.
these cards are great. I do love bottlecaps haven’t used mine in a long time. And I do love GLITTER!!
I’m with ya on caring less about the game. My husband watched-not caring much about the game, but was glued to the commercials. I didn’t think they were that great. Anyway- I’ve been busy with the baby cards and gifts too. So fun to make. I’ve been seriously been thinking about getting Copics. Any suggestions on what to start with? They are so expensive, but it looks like they are worth it.
