I love that sentiment. Its just so sweet and encouraging dont you think?
So what’s YOUR dream? If you could do ANYTHING what would it be? I would LOVE to hear your responses, so reply to this thread with them.
My fantasy dream would be to fly-like the fairy. You know just pick your feet up off the ground and float around. I think I would only hover, because I am petrified of heights! LOL! But the idea of it amazes me.
My realistic life dream- I really hope to continue to work with the design teams I’m on, and get more publications, but truly, I would LOVE to work for a magazine someday. That is my ultimate goal. My dream. one I feel is possible, but yet somewhat not. If that makes sense.
Family dream-well health for my family is definitely #1. But my dream would be to own a beautiful house by the beach. For Jason and I to just sit together, and watch the sunset. Most likely my children will be grown, but if not, watch them run along the beach building sand castles.
OK so onto my card. I got this FABULOUS paper by K & co. When I saw the flourishes I knew it would be perfect with my Fairy because it was similar to her flutter trail. The Fairy, and Fairy Sentiment is from the Simply Singles line by Lizzie Anne Designs and is ONLY $3.99! OMW! That is FABULOUS. You’d pay more for a store bought Fairy card.
Anyway-the Fairy was colored with my FAB-U-LOUS-O Twinkling H2O’s. Yes I love them. She she shimmer’s ever so perfectly-just like a Fairy should. My color spritzer was also used for a little bit of color burst here and there. Love that thing. The ribbon is May arts, and one side is shimmery as well.
NOTE: the butterfly in the upper right corner. Isn’t is beautiful? Its a Martha Stewart punch! I got the LAST one. Yeah baby! I just punched some coordintaing paper. Isn’t it so cute? I love butterflies.
I took a trip, and got some retail therapy to help my depressed state these days.
OK So here is a small piece of visualevidence that I am addicted to cardstock! I love Martha Stewarts new line. ALL OF IT! But I am addicted to her new colors of paper, and well many lines of cardstock, and patterned paper. Its out of control! LOL! I am also a ribbon hoarder. I love patterned ribbon, if it matches the paper OMG! Im a goner. I love matchy things. Cardstock- ink- ribbon -buttons -brads WHATEVER, if it goes together I need it. Its insane.
Im also addicted to flower and shape punches. But hey WHO isnt right. Don’t get me started on jewel stickers!
Whats worse is I need to go shop again tomorrow! I held back on buying a few things and its plaguing me. Oh well. 50% off coupon here I come. Please tell me Im not alone on this insanity to have every little impulse thing I want. I think its a serious condition. It started with my grandmother….
Oh well thats it for now.
Thanks for reading. Dont forget to share your dreams! More importantly “go for them”.

OMGoodness Lauren! I about fell off my chair when I opened your blog. I was stopping by to hit the link for Lizze Anne’s and THUD! That card, I mean really…that card is just fabulous! I love the colors, that ribbon is SO pretty, and the fairy is super adorable! Wow…I would love to get inside your head for just a little while… 🙂
My dream…hmmmmm…Well, I would really like to be home more with Shannon, and the little one that’s on it’s way. Not SAHM necessarily, but I’d like to be able to work part-time I think. I think it would give me the perfect balance.
As for non-realistic dream?? I’d like to be able to ‘beam’ myself wherever I wanted to be…whether it’s visiting you, or heading to the beach in Cancun for the afternoon! THAT would be AWESOME.
For my family?? To be comfortable financially, and healthy…would love a vacation property somewhere near the ocean…I LOVE the ocean…not for swimming, just for looking 😉 I don’t think I’d want to live there, because then it would be like getting away…
Thanks for sharing your dream!!
The card is beautiful – and I can’t wait to play with you sketch when I get back home!
What a great card
Beautiful, just beautiful!! I haven’t made a card in a long time and don’t own any of these things, so I’m living vicariously through you!!
My dream – I sometimes dream of being a scrapbook celebrity, along the lines of Becky Higgins. Daydreams – of places that are WARM with slight breezes, maybe by the sea, maybe in a meadow, just sunny, warm, comfortable, with my family & friends there just hanging out peacefully.
I can’t think of more at this moment. Neat idea, girl! You have the best ideas!!
Love this card! And now you’ve “forced” me to go buy that paper! I have that butterfly punch, too – I love all of Martha’s line!
My dream is not very elaborate. I would like to buy one of those groovy silver RVs when I retire and go to all of the University of Oklahoma’s football games, home or away, wherever they are. I am a HUGE football fan, and I think this would be such fun. I am single, so part of my dream is that I meet the right person (whether a husband or just a friend) who wants to do this, too.
Now that probably won’t crack you up, but if you knew me, it would really would. I’m not really RV material! I’m really prissy! But I want to customize the interior so it’s not like a “normal” RV.
Thanks for letting me reflect for a minute! Love your blog.
Kimberly
Gorgeous card Lauren. Hmm, I just might need that fairy and saying. My dream would be to have a room to call my own so my stuff isn’t all over the house. Whether stamping, scrapbooking, just hiding in, I don’t care. A place I could lock the world out of when stressed and need some peace & quiet.
Hello!!
I am trying to reach out to other people’s blogs that I read on a regular basis – I saw a set of cards (or 1 card) someone made using Persian Floral paper by Chatterbox and I want to CASE it for a gift I need to made today 🙂

It would have been in the last 2 weeks or less – do you remember??
Thanks you in advance!
Elizabeth
My dream: a real craft room — neat, with everything organized and a place for everything. As it is, stuff is spread out in the dining room, next to my LaZBoy in the living room, on the computer table, and in one bedroom.
This card is just beautiful. I’ve been avoiding the MS line, but you are really tempting me!!!
wow, this card is just precious! I gotta say, the fairy theme is always a winner, and the mix of colors on this is perfect. I love this! Keep up the great work!
Absolutely amazing card! My dream? For my kids to be able to play with their cousins on my side of the family/ for us to live closer to my family. My sisters live in Michigan and Virginia and I’m in Utah. It’s been over a year since I saw my sister in Michigan. She hasn’t seen my youngest (almost 9 months) other than pictures, and now she has a new baby too. Maybe that beaming thing has something to it! My husband’s family is all nearby, so they know their “Utah cousins” just fine. I’d also love to not have a mortgage to pay…more money to save and more money to support my stamping addiction!
