Did you miss the MFT party this past week?
Well if you did I figured I would share a card that I linked in the MFT forums during the release party.
Now I do have some Halloween samples with the new MFT sets, but those are TOP SECRET until my classes at The Paper Tree next weekend. I am doing 3 classes that day, and I hope you can join me! Check out the class schedule. I am also gathering my things for my Class Kits!!! Those seem to be pretty hot-so thank you for your interest in them 😀
ABOUT THE KITS : They are a mail order kit. You can add items on as you wish. Each kit lists items it comes with and has detailed directions for you to follow. Fun stuff. The feedback from the first kits are awesome, so I am happy to begin round 2. I hear most people want ALL 3 classes in a kit. We will have to see.
I will keep you posted OK!
This is from the NEW! Nature calls set, and also uses the Whats your sign? set.
Now it is important to note just how much I girlied this up. Love the colors, and yes the layout is pretty cute too. How can you not LOVE that racoon? He is my favorite image in the set.
Miss Lauren here is NOT a nature person, at all. You would not catch me ever going camping of hiking or anything like that-ever! Jason talks about going with the kids, and how much fun it would be………and blah, blah, blah, and that is great. He can have a fun kids weekend in the forrest, while I stay home. If there were an RV then I MIGHT think about it.
I’m not a big fan of wilderness. Unless its at a zoo or something like that. CONTAINED wildlife! I need my coffee pot, make-up, running water, a toilet -not a hole in the ground, and of course my nice hot shower. Oh and my computer is a big bonus.
That all being said when I got this set I will admit it had me totally stumped. But once I got over the WILDERNESS thing I was able to get some stuff done with it. So I ditched my hang-up of nature colors and gave it my own spin. I love how my samples actually turned out.
Next up a Pink Moose
I told you Im not a wilderness person, but I can certainly create with a PINK moose! LOL! I think she turned out mighty purty! LOL! Love the antlers 😀
I love the “patchwork” of this patterned paper by Inque Boutique. Gave it a bit of rustic-girly style. This paper is the Isn’t it Romantic collection. I love my Sweet blush cardstock SO much.
The sign set is just totally adorable, and can be mixed with so many others. Pretty fun idea.
Now don’t slam me here because Im not a nature lover OK.
Hope you are enjoyed the weekend. I know I have TONS to do. I live for a long to do list I think.
Till tomorrow-

I’m with you Lauren…I’ve been there done that with the camping thing and no more…I spent 7 months trekking around Australia and after that much exposure to the elements I don’t ever want to camp again. Leave me inside p l e a s e! I love your pink moose and what you’ve done with this set.
Lauren-never again a pink moose. Even girl moose have their pride. Only kidding…Love the cards and I got both sets from Michelle at the Paper Tree this weekend. We are both amazed how you do this each and everyday.
Pretty cute! I’m amazed you don’t like nature – being a Colorado girl, I think it’s not allowed for me to dislike nature. I love to go on a hike but rarely do. I personally love your pink moose, she’s very fancy! 🙂
Wow! I loooove these! I love the non traditional colors. GORGEOUS!
Cute cards. I am a nature lover but only from my self contained RV. I have my coffee, my toilet, my makeup, a hot shower and my computer in many of the campgrounds-plus a bonus of beautiful scenery. I love it. I did the tent thing years ago and totally hated it–to say the least, so I do understand where you are coming from. Have a great day.
Cheryl
I love the pink moose – the antlers are awesome!
I really like your new blog features and design – absolutely beautiful!
Have a great day, Lauren!
Hugs!
I totally love when you colour things in odd colours…I like to do that too! Sometimes it’s my easy way out, especially if I’m not sure how to colour something…haha!
These samples are super cute!! I Love the DP you used and the fun layouts!
Cute paper pieced antlers!!

No slam here! I need my potty too. And my A/C. 🙂
But these cards are adorable. I love the pink moose. Makes you wonder if you drank too much. 😉
Very cute with the unexpected colors! You can wear pink on a hike! And if there’s a book about a blue moose, there could totally be a pink moose too! LOL!
Super cute moose! I love those antlers.
Simply great!
IfatArt.
Ha ha ha, I am with you chickie! you couldn’t pay me to become one with nature. I really don’t like the outdoors much. On a nice cool day when the bugs aren’t around much then I like to be outside. You know that cool crisp Oct air and when it snows! I hate bugs! LOLOL!
You did a great “girlie” job on the cards though I love it.
Cute! I’m not a big fan of camping. I like small nature hikes with my pooch, but that’s about it. Once when my girls were small we went camping in a tent and after we saw the first spider, I and both girls opted for the van while DH snoozed in the tent. We all mostly just waited for day light.
one moose, two moose, pink moose, blue moose! LOL!
How cute! Love the raccoon. I was able to go to the party for a few minutes. Yes, awesome sample
Love the cards. Those antlers are fantastic and I agree a pink moose would be great.
No slams here! LOL, I’m with you all the way on the great outdoors! In my studio is just fine with me and pink moose are the best! Great cards, Lauren!
Slam you? Nevah!
Though there is nothing like a dose of nature to make one appreciate ALL aspects of life… and such a source of inspiration, eh?
Love that raccoon, too! My Alaskan relatives would pee in their pants over the pink moose ;^)*
Hugs,
Julie
You crack me up! I love your “girlied up” nature cards!)
LOL!!! Too funny. My DH and I are so outdoorsy person, if I wasn’t I think my DH would have left me a long time ago hehehe
Girl moose (cows) do not have antlers, just wanted to give you that heads up. But he looks cute pink.
I love the cards. I love that moose. I would so love to have him in my collection.
AMEN SISTAH!
The quality of life just is not there without a hot shower, and espresso and a comfortable bed and clean children and a real toilet that flushes with real toilet paper and antibacterial soap!
That said, I laughed really hard at your pink moose!
I like the wilderness from a fully functional cabin or motel!
Lauren, you’re too funny. I love your cards but best of all your description of not camping. That pink moose though, is just too cute.
I love your samples!! This looks like a fun set that I’ll have to check out! *wink*
