Over the moon

That’s where I want to go right now! LOL!

Sorry world!

I have been running late in the blogging department!

I THINK me email is running now. I THINK!

Not the way it was. I have to log into Fairpoint website, but its better than nothing. Problem : I can’t get my addresses, and If you emailed me in the last week-its a gonner!!! I can’t access it or respond :C
I spent a total of 4 hours with Fairpoints online Live Chat support because they aren’t taking PHONE CALLS!!! WHAT! Insane.

So if you contacted me at all in the last week-its GONE! I can’t see it or access/reply. Sorry.

This whole thing is totally driving me crazy.

What you also don’t realize is I have been making/editing videos and PRE-Posting like 10 posts for the Papertrey Ink countdown! There is some amazing things to share, and you won’t want to miss a single day. I need to be ready because my brother’s girlfriend could literally go into labor ANY moment!!!

She is dilated to 2 and having contractions irregularly! EEKK!!!!

I am IN the delivery room (and the ride to the hospital) so I need to get as much of my work done a possible so I can enjoy the moment, and not freak out that I missed something. Posting takes me a while, since Im so long winded, and linking everything up!

Plus I have a million other things going on-like my family! LOL! and their million appointments. Next week I have something going on everyday.

Crazy life of a mom to 3 I tell you. Throw in birthday parties for friends and class v-day parties, and forget it. Its just not all gonna happen I fear.

I HOPE to get a date with my husband! Dinner out. That would be perfect.

OK now moving on to the Random winner of my Tea Container!

Chris R. from Iowa |

Love your project as usual! Chocolate probably is right up there for comfort and enjoyment. But, if I want a special cup of tea – English Breakfast Tea is a favorite and I also love some Republic teas and of course the name of my favorite just went blank! No big deal. Maybe I need to go make a cup and the name will come to me! Thanks for sharing – the little bunny tail is so cute

Chris email me at [email protected] ( I may not respond but I can get your address!!)

——————————————————————————————

My card sample uses a image from Lizzie Anne Designs called In the nursery. I love it. I just punched a circle, then made another circle cut out for the “moon”. Its very girly to me. I like the arch that follows the sentiment too. Oh and the ribbon-love that. I guess I love it all.

OK I need to RUN so thats all for me. Sorry not more details, but the kids gotta EAT!

Thank you for checking in here, and all  the nice comments about the tea holder. I enjoyed reading your favorite beverages to relax!! I am going to have to try like a 100 new drinks!!!

Till tomorrow

Hey girls!!

Time for theMFT Blog Hop!

If you *just* got here check in with KIM first-

If you are hopping along, next you will want to head on over to Michele

I got some stamp time in AND got some videos done 😀 I am trying to get ahead, so if you see me in the SAME outfit just know that YES, I do own other clothes! LOL! I just filmed a few on the same day.

This time was definitely EASIER! So YEAH!! I’m getting the hang of this now. Now don’t go getting HIGH standards 😀 I just feel I improve each time. I’d LOVE to offer MORE videos each week, so someday it MAY be possible.

I was so inspired by the newest release from MFT called Tea for Two that it inspired my project for today! I hope you like it.

Time for Tea

spot-of-tea.png

Today’s video I have to share with you will show you how to take the My Timeless Template-For Keep{sake} and turn it into a PRETTY tea holder, that can be proudly displayed anywhere!

If you want a chance to WIN -just leave me a comment 😀 and if you want to, tell us What drink or item/activity comforts you when you are upset, or sick, had a bad day…….

I LOVE my coffee ♥

OK more photos……..

Top view of the tea in the For Keep{sake} (turned tea) holder.

tea-inside.jpg

Here is a close up detail of the ADORABLE little bunnies in the tea cup!

tea-insert-slot.png

The cup is colored and cut out.

I made the bunnies in the cup 3D as well. The tail is on an additional layer, and had fun flock on it.

Now here is a close up view of the slot that I teach you to easily make, and convert your For Keep{Sake} template into the Tea Box!

tea-opening.png

Now also note, that you can die cut a scallop square from the large set of square nestablities to give you a nice decorative bottom to your holder 😀

The paper is an OLD SU! pattern. The cardstock I believe is Cranberry Crisp-with the matching ribbon (also SU! but retired).

I just loved how quick and simple this project is 😀 It would be a great treat for someone!

OK now onto the release stuff.

Off to school

Feb 3, 2009

off-to-school.png

I LOVE this card 😀

It was made before my mojo went on the fritz! LOL!

The colors are just so cheery to me. Perfect teacher of back to school card.

I am praying for a day of “quiet” while the kids are ALL in school and back to perfect health, so I can get some MOMMY time. Lately I’ve either been ill or running everywhere in creation for everyone.

I know it sounds “selfish” but we ALL need to do something for ourselves. I’m a firm believer in that. When mom is stressed then it takes a toll on everyone!

My motto is “Do something to make yourself happy-everyday!”

Sometimes that is just impossible. I am determined to get ONE day this week to get done everything I need to.

OK onto the card

school-time-close-up.jpg

Creating a “scene” was super easy because I used the elements in 3 Lizzie Anne Designs stamp sets Winter Release with some masking-

The bus/sentiment-Things that go

House and tree-Welcome Home

Girl/books-School Days

I then just drew on my “street” and made some grass. Sponged a sky-and was done!

OK now I need to run. Lots of running around to do.

Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow I WILL have a video for the MFT Blog Hop!

Till then

I’m drowning over here! LOL! So much to do. Tomorrow is filled with doctor’s appointments for the kids. Seriously have 4 different appointment. Can you say CRAZY!!!

I do have things to share though-

Thank you so much for all the lovely comments and sharing your fave templates with me! I have lots of ideas and enjoy sharing them with all of you. Wait till you see some of the template videos I have planned (I know Im a tease but Im sorry-I have “work” to do first!)

The winners of the Papertrey Ink sets have been chosen! You can view them HERE! Looks like Cindy S was the winner from here! Congrats to everyone who won 😀

2nd-All that scraps release was today! So head on over for the release party tonight –info HERE! 😀

AND as you can see- no video for you today. It was one of those days. I wasn’t feeling good, and wasn’t really up to it, but I started anyway- then my video batteries died. When I did get going again the kids would interrupt OR the phone would ring. Then it was the dog! Then the batteries died AGAIN! (it only lasts like an hour or 2, and with so many interruptions…..) I’m still not feeling good so I’m just taking a breather! I should definitely have one for you for the MFT Blog Hop! So no worries. Only a few more days! I have stuff to share but again, just not feeling good at all.

I got a new email [email protected]  Verizon got bought out. Good times. Now I get to change everything. I had no idea it was changing-it just stopped working :C Guess I should READ my mail! LOL!!!!

I also got a new computer so I have to figure out new video software, and photo editing stuff.

I was the WOW! Guest Blogger for Diana @ the Memory Crafter! I’ll share my thoughts on TAC stamps when I post the 2 cards you see on her blog here this week.

I have more to share but can’t think!

I PROMISE everything will be well worth the wait!!!!

Thanks for stopping by 😀

Happy Birthday Papertrey Ink!

WOOT! WOOT!

I am so excited for the fun that will be going on atPapertrey Ink for the anniversary!

It really all starts today, then goes up to the release.

Today Nichole asked ALL the team members to make a card with thier favorite Papertrey Ink set of all time. Now the BEST part-leave me a comment and YOU can have a chance to win!

Jennifer will be choosing a winner so the comments close MIDNIGHT-12am Pacific time.

You can say whatever you like, but I personally would love to know what My Timeless Template © has been YOUR favorite (OH! BOY! Wait until what you see we have this month-and hold on to your adhesive because next month will blow you away! LOL! My best template yet), and what Papertrey Ink stamp set (if you can pick ONE!) is your favorite.

Let me say that was NO easy task for me!

So I decided that I would use my MOST loved set-Beautiful Blooms

My recent favorite color combo is Raspberry Fizz, and Ripe Avocado. I’m just in heaven.

bday-card-details-close.png

This is a close up view of my card.

I die cut a Label 1 from Raspberry Fizz, then die cut a circle from the center. I then “faux stitched” around it, to make my frame!

I love this set. I especially adore its co-ordination with the Cuttlebug Flower #1 dies.

I love the dimension this all has.

bday-card-blooms-details.png

The leaf image is just gorgeous too. My set is BLACK from all the use! LOL! It is my “go to” set. We all have one I believe.

I also had to add a butterfly in there too! LOL! I *almost* picked the With Sympathy set, but its new, and hasn’t had as much love-YET! But I did use the butterfly from it.

My sentiment is from Garden of Life

I just love this card 😀

Now I need to list a few more favorites 😀 (I have like all the sets but these are tops for me)

——————————————————————————————-

Butterfly Kisses! It was my first PTI purchase

Father Knows Best

Floral Frenzy -OMG! I use it A LOT!! LOVE it

Guide lines

Heartfelt Basics-OH! If there was ever a sentiment set to get!

Holiday Treats-Use that endlessly

Limitless Label-a must have

Mixed Messages-perfect cute set of little sentiments for every occasion! Great for little tags

Out on a Limb/sent-OH MY!! Another top used set for me! I adore this set to pieces

Piece of cake-I LOVE this set. Don’t use it nearly as much as I should though :C

Polka Dot Basics-DUH! Who wouldn’t love it?

Remember- Oh boy! Another top used set for me

Rustic Branches-I had no idea I would like this set as much as I do

Snowfall/additions-another must have

Spiral Bouquet-I love all floral sets! LOL!

Teachers Apple-Oh I just think this is one of the best. No idea why! I just do

Text Boxed

Warm Sympathy-Hello coffee! Love it

Wise owl-how can you NOT love this one? I adore the leaf and flowers in it too!!

With Sympathy-Oh its just SOOOO pretty!

I of couse LOVE the simple alpha and the newest Fresh Alpha too

He’ll make a box to put it in! Or at least I would! LOL!

Did you ever read that book? “If you give a mouse a cookie”

That is what this next image reminded me of!

    mouse-cookie-box-top-view-lauren.jpg

    Cookie Box top view

Keep in mind I HATE mice and rodent! But he was cute. So I accepted him into my stamp room.

I designed this cute little box. . The way it folds together is really cool! I’ll share that very soon!! I was proud that I could do this with a heavy, groggy head.

It uses a stamp  from a set by Cookie Crumbs (aka Diane Zechman) called Cookie Jar, and Cookie Jar-gon (not that is a pretty  darn clever name!). It is due to release through All That Scraps, on Monday the 2nd. Be sure to enter to win this set—>HERE!as well as check out the DT samples!

I think the set is cute, but that mouse and cookie jar were the images that grabbed me most. Now I can torture you with what has tortured me since making it-

Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?

(Insert name) stole the cookies from the cookie jar!

    Who me?!

    Yes you!

    Couldn’t be!

    Then who?

    When who?

    Now repeat 100 times!

    Front view

    gice-a-mouse-a-cookie-front-box-lauren.jpg

The box is a flap open/hinge  style box

Its great because you can use 2 colors of cardstock or patterned paper.

That holds a tin of 5 cookies 😀 Like a cupcake box, only it is holding a tin instead. I have been asked NUMEROUS times to create a “cupcake” box, and so I have done something similar-finally! No worries I’ll share the how-to’s soon!!

    Here is the side view-

    mouse-cookie-box-front-side-lauren.jpg

Its a great size box too! Im over the moon with it.

I cut out a circle in the top so you can see the tin. I didn’t put acetate over the window because of photographing (didn’t want a GLARE), and the cookies are protected in the tin inside.

    Here is the open view

    give-a-mouse-a-cookie-box-inside-lauren.jpg

Sorry I didn’t get all fancy decorating my tin. I had all I could do to make the box and still be standing :C But you get the idea.

    So that is that!

Now I’m going to move onto the sketch and wrap up this post

    mytimess22

    mytimess22.png

Here is the sketch. I loved the sketch but had a hard time coming up with anything :C

I had to get a baby card in the mail so I created this

    Baby Makes Three

    kanga-choice.png

    EEK! Bad lighting-sorry

I love this image from Stampavie called Jump into my pouch! You can also find that HERE!

I think its just so sweet, and perfect for a baby card! Especially for a mom of more than one “roo” I find that finding images for the celebration of additional “additions” can be challenging. So I was “bouncin” (sorry had to do it) over this one.

I was inspired by my ribbon for my color scheme. Seemed to be very gender neutral.

I colored with my copic markers, and sponged my sky and sun. I used prima’s and decorated them like the flowers in the image.

This sentiment from Papertrey Ink Bitty Baby Blessings, paired with Around and About sentiments.

One of my friends is due to have her 3rd baby soon, so I thought it was cute to have the Kangaroo and her three little babies in her pouch.

How cute are these little roo’s

    kanga-pouch.png

I love the middle one – upside down! Cute little feet. That is the cutest thing about new babies!! There tiny toes.

Well I’m done for today! Tomorrow I have a special Papertrey Ink Post to kick off the anniversary countdown! You WON’T want to miss it 😀

In the meantime-I hope YOU get to try the sketch, and get a chance to see what the sketch team got done.

  • Hopefully their MoJo isn’t in the gutter with mine! LOL!

Send us a link here so we can see what you do.

Have a HEALTHY weekend! Seems like MANY of you are going through the same ICK with yourself and or your children. Sending healthy vibes out to us all! What a crappy time of year.

On a happy note-I think I will have 2 videos to share this week! YEAH!!! You really will want to see those-trust me, my projects will have you papercrafting ALL day long 😀

    Thanks for stopping by 😀

    OK that enough of me—>later

    Get Well Wishes

    Jan 30, 2009

    OK this is UBER quick!

Looks like my “cold” took a nasty turn. I have a nice little fever going, and found out Im battling a double ear infection, so I need to lay down. All of the sudden I started with horrible stabbing pain in my ears. Gotta love it. This is only my 2nd ear infection in my life, so I feel fortunate for that. Good news is the kids are getting better and are on the mend.

Tomorrow I will get to rest since Jay will be home-thank goodness 😀 I just pray my brothers girlfriend doesn’t go into labor YET! Not till Im better 😀 I can’t be near a new baby, let alone IN the delivery room when I am sick!

I made this last night-in attempt to help with the release peeks. Mojo isn’t happy or working when I feel so lousy. I have TRIED for days to get creative buy my ickiness isn’t allowing any creativity to flow.

I had to use this image though from AmyR’s set Warm & Cozy-since I could use a comfy robe and some tea 😀

The set is due for release Monday Feb 2nd.

     get-well-robe.png

You can see peeks of it from the ATS Design Team HERE

I colored the robe, then doodled on the flower/leaf pattern to match my Making Memories paper.

Just a simple card-to give you a peek.

I do have a cute peek for tomorrow and its the Saturday Sketch.

I can tell you it WILL be late. I need to rest.

    Thanks for checkin in

    Pretty in Pink

    Jan 29, 2009

    Well I’m back.

Not back to health, just back.

The kids have appointments today, so we will see how they all are health wise.

Thanks for all the healing wishes. I didn’t expect anyone to miss us. I appreciate all the warm thoughts and comments.

To all you “crazies” who said to put Vapor Rub on their feet with socks-THANK YOU! It actually worked! I thought you all sounded a little nutty-but where were you last week through 5 sleepless nights of endless persistent coughing? Thank goodness you all told me about that. I was desperate and would have tried anything. It actually worked. I couldn’t believe till I saw it for myself.

Well I did TRY to get creative yesterday, after the kids made their Valentines Day cards, but it just wasn’t working. I can’t create when I’m sick.

Thankfully I have plenty of stuff from when my mojo wasn’t on sick leave 😀

    mascarade.jpg

    The Mascaraed

I love this image from Leere Aldrich-Party Girl.

She looks like she is having quite the celebration! I think she’d make a great image for a big birthday-or surprise party.

I had to pair her with some new PP I got at Michaels from Making Memories. I was really excited to find some new paper that I really liked. The argyle pattern just suits this image so well.

I decided I would add lots of sparkle to her (sadly not picked up in my photo :C), and her dress bow, is 3D.

The flowers are Sprite Prima’s that I layered to match.

I think Pink & Black are so elegant. She was fun to color. I love the Champagne! I added some clear gel pen on it to look like glass.

    Just a fun party card.

I decided to make another card using the same colors/paper pack, since I had fun with this one.

    Accessorize!

    accessorize-poodle.jpg

This cute little poodle image is from Sentiments A.

I think its adorable all on its own! I love using smaller images as a focus.

I added some texture with my velvet flower, and printed Prima. I just love the poodle peeking out of the bag. Poodles, pink & black remind me of Paris. Not sure why-they just do. Very chic 😀

I drew on my lines of my handbag. Just a quick doodle for more interest. I little pearl in the bag center.

I inked only the accessorize word in the sentiment stamp since I didn’t need it, in its entirety. I like being able to have that versatility, and given that the stamps are clear made is easy!

OK Not too much more to say since I’m tired and heading out to the doctors with the kids-but at least I got something posted for you!!

Thanks for checking in with me 😀

    Enjoy your day-
