This gift box was designed for when it is time to “display” your gifts! It offers the perfect open box concept to hold and display your gifts with pride!
Here I packaged up some sweet scented candles from Bath & Body Works, and a candle holder I got at the Target $1 spot. In total the gift cost about $7. Of course I wanted to dress it up, and make it look more “expensive” and “special” so I use the Display template to do just that.
NOTE: This box even comes with a fun set of Frog pieces to further expand the possibilities! More on that later this week!
This box can be made to display in any room and become any favorite creature or character too
Whatever you choose to “display” it is sure to pack that special something to make everyone take notice!
I chose to use the Parade of Patterns © stripe and roses pattern for my box design, and it matched my candles and holder to perfection!
My top tag was created using the roses from the Well Rounded © set, and the label from the Framed Elegance © set, which was cut out using the Framed Elegance © Pretty Pieces Cut File. The rose was printed and cut out several times to create some dimension.
The rose in the front of the box, and the sides was made using the Rolled Bloom Scalloped ©
Then I made the roses on the sides as well
I think they really add the little something SPECIAL!
You can fill this up with a plethora of gifts from gifts for baby, clothing items, cards, candles, plants, bath & beauty products, art supplies, homemade treats, or handmade sweaters, scarves, candy and MORE!
So what are YOU going to choose to “DISPLAY” in here?!
Thank you all again for stopping by. We cannot wait to hear what you have liked about this release so far!
As you know tomorrow is our official release, so you can get all our NEW products then.
We will also announce our winner of the entire March Release then as well.
See you tomorrow.

Wow Lauren this is gorgeous, you have decorated it beautifully, thanks so much for sharing ….
wow, this is stunning!
Very beautiful! I’m having a hard time deciding which is my favorite. I’d have to say it’s a tie between this one and Kim’s bunny project yesterday!
Si nollem tamen paulo latius ingressus, adhibitis tamen quae summa esset. Adsentior eam. Ne vulgaris opinio, sed sensum. Certe hoc plus erit reversurum. Magnus work.Good opus, mirabile blog … vere utor, addidit et eam in meam socialis bookmarks. Sustinebit boni operis
Simply beatiful! thankyou
Wow hard to decide. I think Debbie’s purple egg is my favorite. All are so beautiful. Great job you guys.
Thanks for sharing
All the designers did a great job but I have to say I love Lori’s frog. How cute is he with his little web feet. Can’t wait to make one.
I absolutely love, love, love this one. The design, the colors, the flowers…all so beautiful.
You all never cease so amaze me with your endless supply of creativity and artistry. LOVE this release!!!!
All the projects were egg-cellent and it was so hard to pick a fave but the displays are tops because of their versitility.
Lauren’s is my ultimate fave of the display projects because it is spring-like …and we just got a snowstorm so spring is a feel good thing right now 🙂
Well done to all!
I really like Lisa Kind’s egg from yesterday. I think it is quite elegant and beautiful. Really love this open gift box, Lauren. Yummy colors.
I love both of the Display projects but I am just a bit more partial to Kimberly Morrow’s bunny. I love, love, love bunnies and this project is so springy!
Great projects! Is hard to decide about the most beautiful ones. From yesterday I really loved Lisa’s Egg. Is just perfect! And from today, my favorite ones is Lori’s frog display. Really loved it!
Wow! Pick just one? Really? Well, if I must, I will pick Lori’s frog! I love how it shows you can step “out of the box” and dress it up in different ways! But really, they’re all fabulous! Can’t wait to get them!
Pattie’s frog! Hands down. I thought it was going to be hard, but as soon as saw that little green face it was over. I love cute frogs!
Wow I love Lauren’s.. always beautiful and the color choices are always right on target. Oh to choose..well I will chose Lauren’s but they are all exceptional.
After narrowing it down to Lori’s oh-so-cute frog and Kimberly’s precious bunny………the winner is…….LORI. I am a sucker for ‘cutesy’ and hers (and Kimberly’s too) is more suited to my needs than the others — but, that frog is just the cutest!
What wonderful projects!! It was so hard to pick just one favorite! I think I am going to go with Lori’s frog. One can’t help but smile when you see it!
gorgeous Lauren!
Wow! So hard to choose a favourite. I think It has to be the beautiful Lilac egg that Lauren made yesterday. It’s so spring like and perfect for popping in non-chocolate gifts so we don’t ruin our diets. (Or maybe just a few choccies as a treat)
Beautiful!
That would make such a lovely Mother’s Day gift.
Your designers did a great job and I did like Lisa’s egg a lot but my favorite is Lori’s frog. I just love him and hope the saying comes along with him. I also like your box today and can see many uses for that, love your color choice. See it is so hard to pick a favorite!! Thank you for a chance to win.
Lauren’s lilac egg is beautiful! For cute, it would definitely by Lori’s frog – loved the little feet!
My favorite yesterday was the egg. Thought that was just gorgeous!
As cute as all the ‘Display’ projects are and as pretty as the purple (my favorite color!) ‘Eggs’ are, my favorite is the ‘Faberge’ egg that Lisa made yesterday. It is a beautiful ‘copy’ of the real thing.
I love the display box Lauren made it just has so many possibilities even for party decorating I can see so many ways this display can be used, even organizing on my desk
All the projects are pretty special. But my favorite is Lori Hairston’s Frog display. It makes me smile.
I love this project! So bright and Springy.
I forgot to mention my favorite is Lauren Meader’s project.
OK…I’ve looked at all of them and this one really takes the prize, Lauren. I just love the beautiful colors, the flowers and everything about it. My FAVE !!
WOW, I love this idea.
Loved all the designed but Debbie M. Egg was gorgeous. That is something to give a mother or grandmother. So elegant.
My favorite project was the one created by Lori H. I am a frog lover, so as soon as I saw it I fell in LOVE. The colors look great together, and I can see myself putting some eyelashes to make it look more girly. Lori did a great job on her project, as well as everyone else.
Appreciate the creative ideas using the darling gift boxes. Especially liked the “Mr. Frog” and gonna kiss a few!
All the projects are beautiful, but I have to say, Lauren, that your display is my favorite. It is gorgeous!! The colors and paper mix and those roses are stunning. I did really like Debbie’s beautiful purple egg, too.
Good morning ladies,
Although I like all the projects my favourite is the frog by Lori.
Rene from OZ xo
So far I like your Display best. It’s springy and girly, all right up my alley! I wouldn’t use the egg much because I don’t celebrate Easter and I’m not so into the bowl shape. But the Display shape is great!
As soon as I saw Lori’s frog I knew I had found my “Prince”. I collect frogs and this would be a cute addition to my collection!
All the projects were wonderful. Picking a favorite is a difficult task. I have to say Lori’s frog did inch out front. I saw it, and just had to smile. Wonderful job everyone. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us with all your great ideas.
i am loving all of the egg projects!
It’s so hard to choose just one. Lauren you are constantly inspiring and your creativity always shines through. I always look forward to seeing what you will come up with next. The beautiful jeweled Egg-stra Special Template shared by Debbie Marcinkiewicz was so detailed. I loved the sting of pearls in a flourish along the sides and the added touch of the silk flower were the perfect finishing touches. I can see using this template as a jewelry box. The Frog Prince using the Display template by Lori Hairston was so inventive. The lipgloss as a treat inside was the perfect play on the theme and beautifully done. Well done to all of the design team! Thank you again so much!
I loved all the projects! What a fun collection of projects and great variety in finishing touches. I think I liked Tangii’s place holder baskets the best! It really appealed to me that she showed how using only half the template for the egg could work really well!
I love both Lauren and Lisa Kind’s Eggs-tra Special projects. Can’t decide which I like the best so it’s a tie! 🙂
Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite is your project today Lauren. Love the colors and roses–perfect for these candles.
My favorite display box is Lauren’s frog-I like that it is nicely open and roomy so it will be easy to display a collection of things. I love those frog eyes, though. They totally won my heart!
My favorite egg is the elegant egg that Lisa Kind made. I like the solid dark color a lot-it lets the surprise inside really pop out when you open it. And I love the flower on the top! It is so pretty and looks like it is actually nestled down into an opening.
Wow! what a fun release and thanks for the contest.
These are all so fabulous!! My favorite is the Frog Diaper Cake. So cute (and my little girl loves frogs)!
wow love all of them! But the favorite one is Lori Easter Baket! so cute! thanks for the opportunity!
I cannot decide which one I like more. They are all very beautiful. I do love the candle display since I love candles and giving them a way as gifts and I did not think of presenting them this way. Thank you for your wonderful ideas and the design teams inspiration.

at one point the brass section spotlighted in after hours bordello red.
