I made 2 more samples with Alexa’s set. They were done to be sent out with the contest. I wanted to make a Thank You, and a Hi one.
This one, the Thank You is for Tracey-
I love pink and black, and wanted to use the butterfly from Alexa’s set. I used Pebbles pearlescent pastels to color the butterfly. I then filled in the hearts with liquid pearls. Such a cool item I rarely use. Gives it that extra dimension and shimmer. They are hard for me to get an “even” distribution when you squeeze it out, so I think I need to practice more! LOL!
I then used my Sakura glitter pen to draw the flutter trail.
Had to use my Sprite Prima’s!
The ribbon is from Jody’s ribbon share.
The circle with the flower and thank you sentiment is Lizzie Anne Designs Funky Floral.
Cardstock is by SU!- basic black, whisper white, pretty in pink. As are the black/pink brads.
This was the other one I did
This inspiration was from the decorative chipboard I had from K & co. Its called Anastasia’s Attic. I wanted to have sparkly flowers and leaves just like the chipboard. So I used my Funky Floral (again) and used heat & stick powder with some old retired SU! Glitter. The jewels in the center are by Heidi Swap.
The base is also a retired SU color- mauve mist. I layered Perfect Plum. They are similar in layout. I wanted the HI to be the focus of the card. I hope she likes it. I did this right before we left for Disney and time was not on my side. There are things I would do differently but Oh well. At least I got it done.
Thanks for looking-

Loved my Thank You! Totally super cute, even more so IRL! I can’t believe you sent that stuff out before you left…you totally could have waited until the 28th…seriously, but thank YOU, I already used some of the paper…
Beautiful!!! Hope you had an awesome time.
I LOVE the pink and black combo; your cards are always spirited and full of class. I’m also now adding to my list of “things to create”, your luggage tags. The kids must adore them and they’ll certainly make your bags much easier to spot on the airport luggage run 🙂 Thanks for sharing your great ideas, pictures and family stories.

I love the pink and black, especially Lauren! Pretty cards! and Welcome back!
I’ve been surfing on-line more than 3 hours as of late, yet I never found any attention-grabbing article like yours. It is pretty price enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet might be a lot more helpful than ever before.
