Using Carry It

  • Katie Cotton
  • Tangii Crain
  • Star of the Show

  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Pam Imholz
  • Any Way You Slice It

  • Lisa Kind
  • Tracey Cuccia
  • Sharing a card using the new sets:

  • Monique Hansen

  • Then there is me 😀 I decided to use the Star of the Show in a non-holiday manner 😀 I think people may get caught up in the star shape and not realize the world of possibilities.

I chose to use the Coffee Beans patterned paper for this collection! The yellow dot pattern on the base, and the floral pattern on the lid! I paired the paper with a older set called Tending the Garden. I used the leafy fronds, as my flower leaves, then added the bee. It was such a great match. The tag (from Tag You’re It)  reads: Just Bee-cause. So sweet for ANY occasion. You can fill this with real wax candles, honey flavored or floral anything!

Now HOP ALONG so you can see what everyone else whipped up for you this month!

Thanks for stopping by and bearing with me as I juggle family, life, moving and business!

    O’ Christmas Tree…

Nov 3, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Home decor/3-D items, My Time Made Easy

OK this is by far the CRAZIEST I’ve been in some time. I feel like I say that often. You know what they say, rest is for the weary! I like to be busy. I thrive on a challenge too. That being said, moving and getting things squared away (my stamp room is close to done too!) hasn’t been easy. I have orders to ship, and court with my mom in the morning! ( Praying that goes smoothly) She is also moving this coming weekend so we will be helping her too! CRAZY! I could go on and on, but I don’t have the time, nor do I want to bore you!

We have some more AMAZING samples from the team, so check out:

  • Catherine Doucette
  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Pam Imholz
  • Now for my samples…O Christmas Tree

I had a absolute blast creating a Christmas  Tree from the Any Way You Slice It © template. As you have witnessed this template can be SO VERSATILE!

I used the Scallop Dot cut file to make my 3D layers on my tree! Each one is sponged, and staggered to create that layered branch effect! Once that was done I brushed some glue on the ends of each layer, and added fine and chinky gliiter!! My “ornaments” are adhesive rhinestones!

For the gifts under my tree I used the NEW! Dashing Through the Snow set 😀 Perfect! It completed my gift tag too!!

The idea is to create SIMPLE wow for the holidays-or any day really! These coordinating products are really the icing on the cake 😀

Thanks for stopping by! Be back tomorrow with our group post 😀

Let me start by saying that between unpacking/moving and getting my craft room done, blogging is taking a HUGE back seat! So I need to be brief. SORRY!

Today I have a super simple project, and a card with some non-traditional colors!

    I hope you like it!

You will want to get some amazing EXTRA  inspiration from:

I just made a cute and quick Santa hat by cutting my Pretty Packaging Templates:Any Way You Slice It © in red cardstock, and adding some maribou! I then stamped my Trendy Tag 1!

The card….I just did some masking and stamped the Santa hat onto the gift! I added some details to the “wrapping” paper too.

    Easy peasy.

    Hi world!

Great release and amazing samples so far, don’t you agree?!

    Don’t miss:

    What’s New! <—CLICK ME :D)

    OUR GALLERY<—CLICK ME :D)

I’m still “moving” into the new house, and our previous home will be sold on the 12th. It will be good to get it all over with, just in time for the holiday season!! Just some last minute things left over (like basement stuff-ICK!) to get out of the old house, and fully in to the new.

I’ve been on overdrive the last month and half, and I met my goal of unpacking and setting up an entire house in just 5 days! I have pictures on the walls, matching towels….looks like we lived here at least a few months 😀 Granted there are some details to finish, like getting my new stamp room built (our new house didn’t have one). I couldn’t have done ANY of it without the help of my husband (who has work along side me like a dog), our kids pitched in, and my mom, brother (who is the one building my room), and the love and help of MANY MANY friends!! Its been amazing and I am so happy to say I’ll never be moving again! LOL!

The kids LOVE it here (not as much as I do though :D). They have their own room, decorated to fit their personality (I say this because the girls previously shared a room) and Daisy has a huge yard to just run and play in! She is the happiest of all I think (after she got over the SHOCK of the move!) She chewed my stair railings and chewed up the carpet on the step corner! (GASP!).

Each morning I wake up I think it was a dream!

I WILL share photos soon, once my craft area is done 😀

I’m literally exhausted as I type this from the floor of my living room (the computer/printer is going in the stamp room so I have a makeshift set up right now! UGH!) so I’ll be brief!

Today you will want to go visit:

  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Tracey Cuccia
  • Lisa Kind
  • and Catherine Doucette
  • Today I will share a card and a coordinating package using the Carry It © template with Dashing Through the Snow, and the Secret Santa sets 😀 Click photos for a closer view!

Be sure you check out the supply list at the bottom so you can see all of what I used!

For the Carry It © box I made my own snowflake patterned paper with the image from Secret Santa! I cut my template, then stamped only the areas I wanted to have snowflakes! I LOVE the reindeer and the tree!

I love the card especially. It was an idea I had when I made the set, and to actually put it into fruition was so fun! I think the reindeer tied to the sleigh is perfection 😀 LOVE IT!!!!

NOTE: The acrylic set Dashing Through the Snow, IS in stock, if you were looking for it 😀 We had a minor glitch with the store and it is now up on the site!

I appreciate the customer emails alerting me to mishaps 😀 Once things are checked it is hard to find a glitch when they happen, as I am not shopping on my own site.  So thanks 😀

  • Here are my creations! I used each of the 4 NEW! stamp sets we released

    For a deer friend:

This card used the Dashing Through the Snow! I LOVE this set 😀 Reindeer are a favorite image of mine. I took the silhouette, and added the “eye” using a white singlo gel pen, and a black singlo gel pen for the eyeball, and the nose. Simple & sweet. The frame for this one was made using the Secret Surprise set, with the Secret Surprise Cut File.

I used the Timeless Traditions paper for my color combination. I stamped the heart like snowflakes on the background in white craft ink. I added some heart like “holly” to the knot on the left.

    Do not open….

This is a simply adorable set by Catherine Doucette called Secret Santa. It was designed to fit in our Secret Surprise Stamp set/Cut File.

I did some masking to stamp the Santa hat onto the gift! A perfect fit.

There is glitter on the hat trim/pom pom, and the used sparkly gel pens to create a pattern on my gifts!

This was a fun one to create using an unexpected color palette using the colors from Fall Folliage! I was able to get create and really make this one POP!

Next up I made a card using the Sugar & Spice set.

This make the sweetest cards! I made this to look like a house front by cutting out the door, and adding the holly from the Secret Santa set. What is SIMPLE and elegant touch!. I combined with our Custom Construction Materials paper it truly does look like a front door!

I love this sentiment! It is actually from the Secret Santa set. I made this to resemble the door to our new home! This one just may be my family Christmas card this year.

OR it will be this one….

This is a SIMPLE card that is perfect for the holidays! You can make an entire Gingerbread Family! This was made to resemble MY family!

We have Noah, Daddy, Mommy, Alexa & Amber

I stamped the bows for the “girls” hair differently so they each have their own personality.

This set makes it easy to “build” your gingerbread family.

Speaking of family, I have a home to continue unpacking and setting up, so I need to run.

Be sure you visit the team, and thanks for stopping by!

    More to share tomorrow.

    Perfect Peek: Day #3

Oct 30, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items, My Time Made Easy

We have a fabulous release for you tomorrow, November 1st! So many new items 😀 Too much to cram in the last 3 days. (I’m still moving so have to keep this all short and sweet)

Any way you slice it, this next template preview is sure to be a HUGE hit! It is extremely versatile too (as you will see as the peek projects unfold!)

Today we are using an awesome template, designed with versatility and ease os assembly (as always) in mind, and its also perfect for any occasion! It is called Any Way You Slice It!

  • Pam Imholz
  • Debbie Marcinkiewicz
  • Monique Hansen
  • Well, as its name suggests, a slice of “cake” is the obvious, and pure heaven! So here is my sample!

Any Way You Slice It © $5

    Completed Project Size

4 3/4 Inches Tall at all points

    3 1/2 Inches Deep

Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC

    Click photo for larger view

I used some of our NEW! Pretty Printables Digital Paper from Candy Shoppe for my cake “decor”. The Tag is from our NEW! Pretty Pieces Cut File: Tredny Tags 2 (we have a collection of 6 this month!)and the Rosette flower was made also using a NEW! Pretty Pieces Cut File: Rosey Posey Rosettes! So easy and fun! I added some flower details by using the Fanciful Flowers -which I scored, and sponged to look so pretty! The “leaves” were done using our NEW! Perfect Poinsettia cut file! (that one is amazing)

As I stated, this is sure to become the “go to” packaging when you want to really WOW someone with a unique box, with unlimited possibilities! This is one of the most versatile templates to date. Gift it horizontally, or vertically, it doesn’t matter. No matter what you decide to create with this triangular box, it is sure to please!

The opening can be in the back, or on the bottom! The tab keeps it tucked closed tightly so your treatlets are secure inside. There is a ton you can put in side to coordinate with what you are using the “slice” for. Its a SUPER size too, so enjoy!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

A piece of cake (make several to create a entire cake!)

It so so easy to whip this up. Click on photos for larger view!

Looking for a perfectly amazing, and versatile box, complete with handle to “carry” your sweet treats in? Well then this is the template for you. Another great sized packaging option for all sorts of treats. The handle design allows you to “carry it” to the receiver, use for that cookie swap, or decorate just like a home, or Gingerbread house, to suit MANY occasions! You can also choose to add a window for a peek at what you are presenting!

No matter  what you “carry” in “it”, it is sure to please a crowd!

I loved combining both the Gingersnap’s and Sugar & Spice sets together to create a Gingerbread house! Every holiday I partake in a cookie swap with 12 women. How adorable would this be filled with Gingerbread Men?! Print the recipe on the back-LOVE IT! I know it would get re-used, or go on display somewhere 😀 It takes the simplest ordinary gift, and makes it extraordinary!!

I just embossed my gingerbread house images in white, then colored in with my Copic markers. The gingerbread people are stamped on Kraft, then cut out 😀

    The Gingersnap’s © Set of 17 images ONLY $6

*Also available in Digital-combined with the Sugar & Spice set for $12*

When designing this set I made sure to make it versatile, so it could be used ANY time of year. This set is so cute and a real value!!

    Does it get ANY cuter?

Gingerbread cookies hold a special place in my heart and fond memories  every Christmas! My mom always made fresh Gingerbread cookies every holiday! She would decorate them to look *just* like the images I have illustrated here! Now, I can take a holiday tradition and get that “warm my heart” feeling all year long!

This set is the perfect “gingerbread cookie” building set.

    Gingerbread family sizes:

My Time Made Easy ™ LLC has sponsored the JUGS Challenge with the In Suspense template!!

Make sure you check it out, and play along, so you get entered to win the Giveaway!!

I’ve been trying to get the last of my samples done for our November Release. Having a release while moving was a CRAZY IDEA, but when they gave us our date, I wasn’t going to say NO! We are closing a few days earlier than originally planned. Which works out even better! I will get to move in boxes of our stuff for a few days before all our friends help us move on the 30th!!

It feels very unreal right now. So close yet so far away. I’m terrified something will POP UP, and my dreams will burst. It all just went so smooth…..I can’t even believe it. I’ve been wanting this my whole life 😀 Everything is just perfect. I have a wonderful, supportive  husband who loves me and is an amazing father to our children, 3 gorgeous, crazy, loving, HEALTHY children, my lil dog Daisy, a job I LOVE, and the love of family & friends, and to top it off, moving into my dream home.

Now my dream home isn’t some HUGE expensive house, with tons of land, expensive fixtures, and all that fancy stuff. Its just a nice sized home, where my kids have their own room, with a nice yard, on a culdesac, in a nice neighborhood. We have a cute front porch, and a deck for summer gatherings. Its only a few years new, (no more big house projects! unless we WANT to do something) and perfect for raising our children in. We plan on being there with our grandchildren. It can’t get any better.

Anyway, my life right now is PACKING ! PACKING!! PACKING!!!, and TRYING to keep things together! I WILL somehow get it all done. Right now though it seems impossible.

    I’ll keep you posted.

On the 29th our November Release peeks begin, so come back then!

Hope you and yours have a happy & creative weekend!

    Hi World!

Just popping in on yet another busy day for me, as I prepare for the Nov./Dec. release, and pack my house for our BIG MOVE on Oct 29th!! I’m trying to get as much in as possible before everything is all boxed up!

I can’t imagine NOT being creative and crafty for the next few weeks. EVEN on my computer :C Whatever will I do? I’m sure packing and unpacking will keep me busy. This is a VERY exciting move for us, so I couldn’t be happier 😀 The kids will each have their own room (and have enjoyed that they get to pick out their own decorative elements), a nice large yard (perfect for Daisy), and great culdesac with wonderful neighbors! God has blessed us immensely.

Alexa is back at school and recovering from her pneumonia. They say it will take 2 months for her lungs to heal, and we have to avoid getting sick. Um, that is going to be VERY hard as this is peak germ season for kids :C We have faith that all will be well with her though.

She’s been overjoyed by all the cards/letters from all over the world! So THANK YOU!!! Its been wonderful for her, and even Noah & Amber got some. That is very sweet and appreciated.

So I wanted to share some exciting news!

There is a NEW! Online magazine called Papers and Pixels< Click here to sign up!

My Time Made Easy ™ LLC will be featured in a 5 page article there in the October issue! So sign up today!

I made this for my husband for his 33rd birthday!

Here is a close up view-my coloring inspired by the colors of my leaf ribbon.

Acorn image is from our $6 Thankful set! What a super set, for a great price!

    Sentiment is from So Sentimental

    Flourish is from Fanciful Flourishes

Well thanks for letting me pop in quick and share.

I gotta get back to work!
