Hi world!

Lots to share!

While I haven’t been getting creative these last few weeks, others have!

If YOU have a My Time Made Easy ™ LLC project to share add a comment in the link section! New or old!!

Check out what Catherine made just in time for Thanksgiving!! <—-CLICK IT!

I failed to link Catherine during our last blog hop (sorry! the move had me in RARE form and I forgot all sorts of stuff! What can I say, I’m human, and make lots of mistakes these days!) So please check our her project.

MTME has sponsored a challenge at the Shabby Tea Room!! CLICK HERE to play along and your chance to WIN!

CLICK HERE to see what Debbie did too 😀

I feel like I have a never ending list of TO DO’s these days, and my computer time is almost non-existent! My stamp room is being completed sometime within the next week (or two :O) so until then things will be really sporadic and crazy. I am still putting the final touches on our new home, as we prepare for the sale of our older one! I don’t think I’ve ever had so little sleep or cleaned so much in my life! I cleaned my house (and de-cluttered very often) and I THOUGHT my house was pretty clean, but after moving from somewhere after 8 years, SPRING cleaning will take on a whole new dimesniosion of things to clean that I never even thought about!

I WILL be posting pictures of our home in the next few weeks, I have way too much to do first, but promise to post. I found some awesome deals on stuff too, so I’ll share all my own tips for how I got things done as I post a new room each day 😀 We are looking at another week or two before that happens. I can’t even wait for my stamp room to be done. Quite honestly I’m glad its not yet so I don’t feel pulled to my new haven 😀

OK back to the daily grind 😀

I hope you all are enjoying your time, no matter what you are up to!

Check it out!

My Time Made Easy ™ LLC has sponsored the JUGS Challenge with the In Suspense template!!

Make sure you check it out, and play along, so you get entered to win the Giveaway!!

I’ve been trying to get the last of my samples done for our November Release. Having a release while moving was a CRAZY IDEA, but when they gave us our date, I wasn’t going to say NO! We are closing a few days earlier than originally planned. Which works out even better! I will get to move in boxes of our stuff for a few days before all our friends help us move on the 30th!!

It feels very unreal right now. So close yet so far away. I’m terrified something will POP UP, and my dreams will burst. It all just went so smooth…..I can’t even believe it. I’ve been wanting this my whole life 😀 Everything is just perfect. I have a wonderful, supportive  husband who loves me and is an amazing father to our children, 3 gorgeous, crazy, loving, HEALTHY children, my lil dog Daisy, a job I LOVE, and the love of family & friends, and to top it off, moving into my dream home.

Now my dream home isn’t some HUGE expensive house, with tons of land, expensive fixtures, and all that fancy stuff. Its just a nice sized home, where my kids have their own room, with a nice yard, on a culdesac, in a nice neighborhood. We have a cute front porch, and a deck for summer gatherings. Its only a few years new, (no more big house projects! unless we WANT to do something) and perfect for raising our children in. We plan on being there with our grandchildren. It can’t get any better.

Anyway, my life right now is PACKING ! PACKING!! PACKING!!!, and TRYING to keep things together! I WILL somehow get it all done. Right now though it seems impossible.

I’ll keep you posted.

On the 29th our November Release peeks begin, so come back then!

Hope you and yours have a happy & creative weekend!

Hi everyone! I have something important to share today.

I just wanted to pop in here quickly and let you all know that a few months ago I DONATED ALL my Papertrey Ink stamps to my friend Alicia for a very worthy cause! She is selling the sets to raise money for Neuroblastoma Research. Last June she lost her son Ethan who was only 4 to this horrible disease, and all money raised from the sale of these sets will go to Ethan’s Rodeo.

You can read more HERE!

She is asking:

 $15 for the $24 sets

 $10 for the $15 sets

and $2 for the $5 set.

Happy shopping!

OK lets get to the projects for today.

You will want to stop by and see Katie Cotton today!! She has a fabulous project for you!

Here is a peek

Here is what Katie had to say

From the moment i laid my eyes on the stamps being released this month, one caught my eye!  A plane in the clouds!  And with my youngest turning 2 in just a couple short weeks, i also knew that i wanted to create a boy party themed shoppe.  To find out more visit Katie Cotton !Now it is MY turn to share.

When I released my first little peek for the September Release, MANY of you speculated to the fact that this release was a “bird” theme. Many thought that the peek was a sweet little birdhouse. Obviously your inital thought was wrong, but still possible. I thrive on ideas, and you all got my creative wheels turning so no one would be disappointed.

This was one of my SIMPLEST projects ever!

Now you know that the Shop Around & Accessories Mega Template was designed so that you can make it into endless themed shoppe/house ideas, as our NEW! products will show you, and while none of them were specific to birds, you can still use the Shop Around & Accessories Mega Template  to create your own stunning birdhouse gift box or home decoration!

When creating my birdhouse I printed my Down to Earth paper first. I so love the design-which was created based on the Killer Curves flowers! So that set is a perfect match to this!

I then resized the file to 65%. I didn’t want it to be too big for my bird 😀 I also used my Cricut ot cut my hole too 😀

I used the Custom Construction Material paper to create my roof pattern. The tag was cut from my Cricut. On it I used the Tending the Garden Stamp set, with the little bird from the Just For You set. My ribbon is from May Arts.

The little bird peeking out is from Michael’s Craft Store! Isn’t is so pretty? Really makes this bird house theme a WOW! I even added little plastic bird eggs to the inside!

Now for my birdhouse base, I recycled an old spool of ribbon!! I just covered it, and kept a piece of the ribbon on the sppol to coordinate my project 😀 (and hide the cardboard base!).

I made a stand I simply scored some of the patterned cardstock every 1/2 inch, until I had a square “tube”. It is quite sturdy!!

I can see this sitting as a centerpiece on tables at a Wedding all over the world!

For a Fab Purse-On

Aug 3, 2010 Author: mytime | Filed under: Uncategorized

OK here we are again!

Are you ready for more creative ideas and inspiration from myself and my team?

Today Pam Imholz and Geny Cassady have some samples. Make sure you pay them a visit 😀 You won’t be sorry 😀

Today I am going to share an enlarged version of the Tuck-ered Out © template.

Not only is tuck-ered out a FAB gift box and or party favor but it also makes the PERFECT purse!!

I enlarged it to 155%!

It ends up measuring 5 1/4 inches across, 3 3/4 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches deep. LOVE IT!

I was obviously in love and inspired by the awesome Shopping Shirley’s Sweetheart Paper Bag collection for my colors. You just can’t go wrong with pink and brown!!

This template comes with a handle piece (also enlarged to 155%) that I added to the top in a Ganache cardstock, with sweet little brads.

The ribbon is from May Arts 😀

The tag was made to look like a price tag. I stamped my gift image from the Money Well Spent set in a chocolate ink and colored them in. I stamped the SALE on the tag.

The main center image is stamped with the sentiment For A Fab Purse-On. It is layers on the Shopping Shirley’s Sweetheart Paper Bag purse pattern and a scallop oval cut with my Cricut machine (I LOVE IT!)

I made my decorative flap/back layer but cutting the template again in the patterned paper, the cuttin off the side panel –>PERFECTION!!

Now you *may* be wondering what is inside!

Godiva truffles! An entire 10 oz. bag of them!!

I LOVE Godiva chocolate. Raspberry Starfish are my personal FAVORITE. SO a gift like this would make me fall over with a feather.

Now keep this in its originally intended size and this would be a ultra awesome party favor or gift for the girls at the office or ANYWHERE really!

TIP: I put a magnet on the inside of the tab, and then on the inside of the front slot so this stay securely closed 😀 Gotta love that!

Are you all enjoying the projects we’ve had to share far this week?

There is more to come 😀

Today you will want to check in on

  • Stephanie Kraft
  • Tracey Cuccia
  • They both have some stunning projects to share with you!

I have been on a purple kick the last few months. Since it is my favorite color I try to use it as often as possible 😀 I had realized that while this was a favorite color of mine, I rarely USED it.

Today I thought it would be great to share a project using The Flapper © and the NEW! Killer Curves set.

This project was increased in size by 15% using my Sure Cuts A Lot program and my Cricut machine. I just increased each template by that much so I could get a larger box . So each piece was sized to read to 115%

Now this box has some wonderful decorative panels that make decorating it easy, but I wanted to show you that you can get a striking gift set without all the layers if you want.

This project took like 12 minutes to make 😀 Now THAT is what I love 😀 It would take me longer to drive to a store and would certainly cost far more than I would want to spend, and wouldn’t look as wonderful! When you MAKE your packaging it turns into a gift within itself!

I achieved a lot of WOW factor here by using black to make this really stand out. The purple just POPS against it.

I used the Killer Curves Cut file with the polka dot frame from the Killer Curves set. The frame fits really nicely with all the extra layers. I stamped it in a purple pigment ink by SEI.

I used my markers to ink up the flower image. The shades of purple against the back really make this interesting.

The sentiment is from the Tending the Garden ©  set, and reads “To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides” I think that sentiment is so heartwarming.

I am not yet sure what I am packaging up in here, but I know it will fit something fabulous 😀

For the front I used a shimmery ribbon from May Arts to tie the box closed. That is one of the funnest parts about this template, you can finally really use and show off those stunning ribbons we all tend to hoard.

I definitely felt the need to add a butterfly embellishment from the All A Flutter set. It just went perfectly with this closure. I used the Flutters and Flower cut file to cut it out of purple cardstock. I stamped it in black ink, then colored it with my copic markers and then added soem stickles! Everything is better with GLITTER!

I think it looks so pretty don’t you?
