Today we have our special Group Post.  On the first of the month (our release day) we all like to get together to show you how EASY it is to use our Pretty Impressions stamp images on cards too! While all our products are made to coordinate with our Pretty Packaging templates, and make your gift giving even easier, they are ALL also amazing for just cards and tags!

Today we will each be sharing some cards with you, made using either the Gardeners Apron or the Simple Seedling Cut Files. While making cards is a blast, sometimes those shaped cards make it even more so!

Fits in the standard A2 size envelope!Available in PDF, SVG, WPC. DXF, and GSDI have longed for a perfect apron shaped card/tag for some time now. With the release of Tending the Garden ©, I felt this was the perfect time for me to create such a shaped card/tag, for the perfect companion to the set.

Even the half moon that you cut out (for the head opening) can serve as the “pocket/pockets” of your apron!

You just take your scissors, and snip off either side of the scrap pieces from the apron opening!

See-even my 5 year old can do it! (she cut the pockets for me so I could take these photos!)

This is the pocket (above) once cut. The rest of the design proccess is up to you!

On mine I just faux stitched the pockets using a Singlo white gel pen, and added a small strip of cardstock to the tops.

The little label in the Tending the Garden © set is also just the perfect shaped pocket.

Here I stamped the label in brown ink, cut it out, and turned it upside-down, and used it as a top pocket, but you can also use it for the bottom pockets!

I used the layering daisy image in the set to create a flower that matched my daisy patterned paper from the Gardening Greats: Acorn Squash/Ganache collection. For the bottom of my apron I used a scaled down version of the gingham pattern from the Fluttering By collection.

Many of the stamp images and sentiments fit perfectly in that label (pocket) too, so personalizing and coordinating gifts has never been easier!

All the layering panels are done for you to quickly and easily create all sorts of stunning layered designs.

Now I have yet another Gardener Apron to share.

This was made for my very special friend Renee’e MIL. Sadly her MIL passed just days after her birthday, so I don’t know if she ever received it.

I was particularly inspired by THIS APRON. I used the Tending the Garden stamp set, and the Gardening Greats: Candied Apple Jack collection and the Picket Fence collection. I think it turned out to be quite stunning!

I used the same ideas as the first apron, only this time used patterned paper for my bottom pockets.

I LOVE the rose image in this set, and it fit perfectly into my label. I just used markers to color it, then stamp it. The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped over the rose image.

Now I need to make a sympathy card for their family, in place of this birthday card. I will share that one later this week.

Now let me share a super sweet sample, using our NEW! Simple Seedling © Pretty Pieces Cut File, and the Tending the Garden Stamp Set.

New Little Sprout

I designed this for a friend who is hosting a baby shower. The parent to be are having a boy in September. We live in “cow country” and the expectant parents also own a farm where they grow/sell items. She was looking for a fun shower favor idea, and asked if I could help her with the design of it. So, I thought this would make the cutest favors! Inside we will put various seed packets!

We only have to make 35, so it should be pretty simple. She was VERY excited when I brought this to her. Simply change up the colors and you have baby girl favors!

Due to “time” she will be altering this design by using a strip of the Gardening Greats: Sunflower Sprinkles Paper (the pea pod design) across the envelope bottom instead.

For my main image I used the “seed packet” frame from Tending the Garden. I stamped the frame in a darker green ink, from SEI onto Cricket cardstock, then cut it out. I re-stamped my “seed packet” frame, in a black ink, onto white cardstock, and then cut that out. The frame and pea pod were colored with my Copic markers.

I then stamped my pea pod image twice. Once on the frame, then again on a separate piece of cardstock. I cut out the peas and front layer of the pea pod, and put it on dimensionals. The sentiment ” New Little Sprout” was curved to fit the curve of the frame then stamped in place. I also added the 32 cents image in the corner to go along with the “seed packet” idea.

To finish it off I tied a simple bow atop the pea pod. Its adhered with a mini clear glue dot.

Over the last few months I have made numerous samples with our digital images, and am always using the digital paper, so I thought I’d share a few more samples today.

AND because I promised you all even more ways to use the Well Preserved set thought today would be the perfect day to share it all.

Apples, Oranges, Cherries and Pears! OH MY!

I wanted to share even more versatile card ideas using more of the fruit images!

First up:

An apple for teacher

I’m working on teacher thank yous and gifts, and thought this could be perfect for one of the 12 I have to gift things to!

I used the Preserve It: Apples and Pears digital collection for this one. Super simple layout that can be switched up with every fruit in the set.

The LOVE the versatility in the apple because you can color it, leave it outlined or ADD the sliced apple core image!

FUN! FUN! FUN!! Plus they are the perfect size for creating your own background paper or becoming the mail focus of a creation.

How “sweet” is this?

Reminds me of a Florida Orange Juice commercial! LOL!

For this I printed some of the Pretty Printable paper from the Preserve It: Oranges & Strawberries collection, and the Vintage Plaid Hues of Red with Sugar! 

I had so much fun combining the fruit slices from both the A Spot of Tea (which is the large fruit wedge) then the Well Preserved set which used the little fruit wedge!

I just stamped them as seen in this: Using the Fruit Wedge from A Spot of Tea © video, and added some glitter.

My sentiment is from the You’ve Got Mail set 😀 Its such a fun and unique set that really gives new meaning to HAPPY MAIL!!

Two Lil’ Cherries

OH! I so loved this one when I was done!

I combined the label image from the Well Preserved set with the cherries, and added a clear page pebble over them.

I then layered it onto the floral circle frame from Paper Pattern Pieces. It gave such a elegant look!!

I decided to split the sentiment from Sensational Sentiments.With the two lil’ cherries, and the sentiment “two words” it was perfect to me.

I used the Fruit Medley collectionfor the bottom of this one. It was the perfect addition to my card!

Just Pear-fect

This is last but certainly not least!!

Loving the colors and the paper on this one. I used Nomad polka dot pattern from the Darling Dots collection, then the floral paper from the Tea Parlor Nomad’s Warm Apple Cider Collection. You really should check out all the patterns within each collection!! There is generally a large variety of AWESOME patterns for so many uses.

Once again I used the frame from Paper Pattern Pieces, This time it was the square. I love stamping the 2 pears together. I just stamped one pear, then masked it before I stamped the second one. I enjoyed coloring them, but you could easily leave them alone, or paper piece them.

OK now onto more details, as promised.

There are tons of you out there who are CANNING challenged!

Many of you expressed that you love the Well Preserved set but aren’t sure you could use it since you don’t “Can”.

Well I think (or hope) I’ve given you a ton of ideas (for those of you who don’t “CAN”) to find uses for this set all the same. The set is very versatile, as are many of the sentiments.

For all you out there who CAN’T can, because

1) you don’t want to

2) you don’t have time

3) you never even tired-where to begin?

4) you have no ambition to

….then I have some wonderful alternatives for you to still be able tp utilize the Well Preserved  stamp set, as well as the Jam Packed template!

So if you thought you CAN’T now you CAN!!

For all of you out there who CAN’T can your own fruit goodness, or maybe you never tried it and WANT to, then I think you will love this book I found at Walmart!

Ball Blue Book: Guide to Preserving

I found this with the canning supplies (near the dish section). It has EVERYTHING you would ever want or need (with photos for you visual people like myself) for someone who has NEVER canned before 😀 I hope to share my very first batch of jam making with you all once we pick our own FRESH fruit. I think that makes the difference 😀

Now back to you all who don’t want to bother canning, YES! you “CAN” find some great uses for the Well Preserved  stamp set.

You can also just just the jars for packaging stuff!! IF you can fit it in a half pint canning jar you can “JAM PACK” it, with style! So the ideas are endless.

From sewing and stamping supplies, to delectable edibles!

There are all sorts of things you can put in the half pint Ball Canning Jar! They are pretty inexpensive too. Just let your imagination soar a little. Think outside the BOX!

Here is a little something I made!

Some mini blueberry muffins!

One batch of mix goes a LONG way when giving gifts!

I fit in about 6 per jar. They equal a smidgen more than gifting on large muffin, and look so cute in here.

I just used the half pint jar, to put my mini muffins in, then for the front decoration I use the Well Preserved set with coordinating Well Preserved Cut File . You can whip up a ton of tags like this. I then added some blueberry fabric to my jar lid, then tied with some gingham ribbon. SIMPLE! DONE!

Here are some ideas for you:

Food mixes-like strawberry, blueberry and raspberry pankcake mix, muffin mix (already made muffin), or even bread mix.

Drink mixes!! You will want to see Tracey’s post for sure 😀

Candy-there is a plethora of fruit flavored candies! Some of my faves are the gummy fruit wedges and the Haribou Raspberries!

Candles-yes! You can make your own scented candles and package it up in a Ball canning jar! How cute would that be?

Cookies! Yup! Stack em’ up and put them in a jar instead of a bag. My favorite are Raspberry Linzer cookies!

Scented bath & body products! How about some handmade (or store bought) soaps, or bath-salts? Lots of sweet scents!

Fudge and other chocolate yumminess.

Peanuts, or oven roasted cashews!! YUM!

Apple Cider, Coffee, or Hot Cocoa mix!

Dip! Already mixed, and ready to present to a hostess 😀

What about the layered mixes you can put in a jar! There are ALL sorts of soups and cookie recipes that you can layer in a jar!

Instead of a bowl of soup, what about a JAR! They can pop it in the fridge until they are ready to heat and eat.

I think I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Get creative with your gifts, and you will be pleasantly surprised at how the smallest of gifts, presented perfectly goes a LONG way, and gets an amazing response.

Remember, your presentation is the FIRST thing people notice, and that is what really “SELLS” people on products in the marketplace! Catchy colors, packaging designs and logos!

BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!!

 The things I’ve crossed off my to do list the last few days are INSANE! How about you?

We are getting ready for vacation, so I’m back to workin my hiney off to be swim suit ready within the next month, and I have 2 things to say:

1) OUCH!

My body hurts!! I know its a good hurt because I’m using muscles that have been neglected. The ONLY muscle getting any use the last few months has been my BUTT cause I’ve been sitting on it typing and makin files! LOL! OH and then I guess my finger too

2) I’m STARVING!

 LOL! When I work out I eat WAY more than I usually do, because my body/metabolism is actually working! I eat more than usual and LOSE weight. Typically I don’t eat breakfast or lunch, and then by 3pm I’m starving. I can generally live off coffee the first few hours of life, so hunger normally doesn’t occur. This is BAD. I NEED to eat. its good for you to eat several smaller meals a day. Keeps everything moving, and you body burning calories, so I am getting back to that.

OK totally off topic but I felt the need to just say it, since all I can think of is how SORE and HUNGRY I am! LOL!

Its the end of the year, and teacher gifts need completing, so WHY am I typing this post instead?

I don’t know, maybe its my therapy! LOL! My little connection to the world. I enjoy sharing everything here. Its kinds like a virtual diary of creativity 😀 Its the coolest thing to know others may get enjoyment or inspiration from me in any way 😀 So I keep doing my best to keep creating.

My husbands jokes “Don’t you worry about running out of ideas?” While I giggle, YES! That does  freak me out! LOL! But I have so many ideas jotted down it may take a lifetime to get them all made, so I won’t worry about that just yet.

Speaking of ideas and creativity, I figured I share a fun little project using a technique I’ve not tried in a long time, so I hope you have a minute (or like 5)

The official June release week at My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is over, but I made SO much stuff I still have plenty to keep sharing! Certainly NOT a bad thing.

So I figured I’d share some samples I created using the rose bud flourish image from the A Spot of Tea set! I LOVE the way that turned out, so I wanted to showcase it a little. I think the tags, and that flourish a SUPER on thier own 😀

First up here is a simple card I made.

I really loved using the Rambling Rose Cut File, combined with the flourish image from the A Spot of Tea !! It makes a stunning combination!

I drew a frame around the sentiment, which is from the All A Flutter Sentiments. I really love this sentiment, and has forgotten all about it until I got a birthday card from Pam! When I read it I was just like “WOW! I so love that sentiment. I swear I have that somewhere!” Then it dawned on me “DUH!! You MADE it into a set! LOL!” So I knew that was going to be what I wanted for my card 😀 I then obviously needed a  butterfly (I swear I could use a butterfly on EVERY project and never tire of them) so I used the butterfly from Just For You set. I’m finding I turn to that set A LOT too 😀 I love incorporating older sets/products with the newer sets/products!

Next, you may have seen this on the website, so I figured it would be a good one to share (Plus I got some HOW DID YOU DO THAT? emails :D)

Now keeping the focus on that same rose bud flourish, from A Spot of Tea, I decided to make a “faux metal” embellishment for my candle!

I knew I wanted to take a simple candle and “step it up”.

So, I made a fancy schmancy topper for the candle.

I used the Killer Curves Frame to cut my label. Then I stamped it with the Killer Curves : Fancy Framesborder, which I colored in with my Copic markers.

Punched a hole in the center, to pull my wick though, then stamped the sentiment from Sensational Sentiments. Note: you will want to punch your hole FIRST so you can ensure it is in the center! The stamps are clear photo-polymer, so lining things up is a breeze.

Then I added some pearls and a Prima flower! Love it.

This was wrapped with the Tea Parlor: Bow Bells Lagoon paper. It was designed using the rose bud flourish so it is a PERFECT match! Love matchy matchy stuff!

How AMAZING does that look? Can you believe its NOT real metal?!

DIRECTIONS:

All I did want use my Versamark ink pad, smooshed it onto my cardstock. Ensuring lots of ink got on there evenly.

Layered on some Silver embossing powder, then heat set.

Repeat at LEAST 5 X’s-Smoosh ink pad, add embossing powder, heat set!

On the LAST time for the heat setting that last layer, make sure you ink your stamp in either versamark ink ,or you can use a permanent black for a cool look.

JUST as you finish heat setting QUICKLY stamp your image into the HOT powder!

This is the look you get!

Pretty cool huh?

This just went from a sweet smelling $1 candle to being worth far more than that! And its OH SO PRETTY!

I have a few things to share too! Shockingly no template, I thought I’d go the card route instead. (Don’t worry lot’s more template ideas to come!)

Since I began My Time Made Easy ™ LLCback in December MANY of you have since taken the plunge to try your hand at new things!! Things you’ve never tried before 😀 I cannot tell you how good it feels to know that many of you have tried your hand at something new using my products!!

One thing that may have you intimidated is the Pretty Impressions Digital version of our stamps. Now I totally get it! I’m generally note a HUGE digital stamp person, but the last year I have grown to appreciate the possibilities they can offer. That being said I’ve begun to offer select sets in a digital version. Over the last year or so I’ve started to use them more and more, and even enjoy it. I recall when I first tried acrylic stamps. I HATED them, now that is ALL I will use! I love and prefer them. When storage space and money are a factor the digital stamps can be a great option too 😀

One of my customers: Terri Moore alerted me to something she put together using MTME! She created a step by step video tutorial on using the A Spot of Tea Digital set!! She did an amazing job! THANK YOU TERRI!!

Today I created 3 different cards using the A Spot of Tea Digital set, and combined it with the Digital version of the Just For You set!

I also used the Tea Parlor papers in Plum/ Silent Night, Nomad’s Warm Apple Cider , and the Darling Dots collection.

First up You & Me for tea

If there is ONE thing I love it is combining stamps sets! I love having the ability to mix and match all my images, and sentiments with other sets in my collection. Now when I design I keep these possibilities in mind. This novelty is further expanded when you use any of our Pretty Impressions Digital version of the sets!

I enlarged the tea pot from the Just For You , and digitally added the butterfly (from the same set) along with the rose flourish-which I was able to MIRROR in the program! How cool!!

The tea pot is on some layered I made using the Killer Curves: Fancy Framescut file. I stamped one of the corner adorner’s from the Killer Curves: Fancy Frames stamp set.

The tea cups were mirrored too 😀 As you can see one goes in the original direction, and the other points the opposite way. I used my photo software to color in my images too! While I love to color with my Copic’s, I find this is a GREAT option to have, especially if you are going to mass produce something like invitations 😀

OK you could certainly make it much more simple…but I love this one!! I also used the Vintage Plaid collection

My sentiment is from the actual A Spot of Tea STAMP set, but the rest was all digital 😀 Or hybrid as most like to call it.

Also note on my tea cup, I arranged the rose bus images to my liking 😀 Something not so easily done with stamps.

I love purple and yellow! I know many of you out there aren’t purple fans…but you can use whatever Tea Parlor collection you like in your favorite  colors to recreate your own version.

Now for my favorite one!

No yellow, bit I think this is so sweet and dainty 😀

In this one I combined my images together (the same completed tea pot, and my plain tea cup). My sentiment also stamped.

When I designed the A Spot of Tea set, I didn’t NEED to design a tea pot because I knew I already had an “adjustable” one is the Just For You digital set. Its cool to have BOTH the acrylic and digital version. I like being able to touch and feel my stamps, but SOMETIMES (like in this case) I have an image that I wish were adjustable!

Now you don’t have to digitally color it. You can print it, like a coloring book page 😀 and handcolor it. No one would ever know it was digital! You can then make it as BIG or as small as you want. Add other images to it…..flip it…..whatever you want!

As you can see (and I feel like a broken record saying this but it is true) the possibilities are ENDLESS!

I think that should be my moto! LOL!!!

On that note, I decided I would share a project with you that incorporates the Well Preserved set-in a non “canning fruit” sort of way. I told you I’ll make you see it for other uses, if it KILLS me 😀 In reality the set and images are just “scent-sational” and I have TONS of ideas that I hope to share with you, using it. Bottom line: it is NOT just for people who make preserves and other canned goodness OK!

Now once I previewed the Jam Packed © Pretty Packaging templateI told you all that is isn’t *just* for jams and jellies. You CAN alter it to be used for so many other treats! I figured it would be far easier to SHOW you how with this quick video:

Now let me share my project details with you.

You make life sweet-(love the pun on this gift!)

My colors and “flavors” in this design came from my “candy”. I found some Country Time Lemonade hard candies in the store! Not only are they colorful, but they are delicious! There is Peach, Pink Lemonade, Raspberry, and Strawberry. YUM-E!

Now some details

Did your ever think to cut a window in the top of the Jam Packed template? Or anything for that matter!

Well, you can! I have my Cricut do mine for me, but even you PDF users can do this too.

I think it looks STUNNING!

Here is my window!

I used a rounded square for my top cut out, in my lid.

I decided to use a Meadow cardstock, and enlarged my All Tied Up: Square  to mat my template lid. Then using my cricut, I cut out the same size rounded square from the center of the All Tied Up: Square frame.

Once my frame was cut I used the Killer Curves: Fancy Frames to stamp my borders.

I then cut some acetate to fit behind my open frame. I stamped the rounded tag from the  Well Preserved set in center , along with the “you make life sweet” sentiment, using white stazon. Adhered this over the cup out in my lid and DONE!

A simply sweet design.

Going with the SWEET theme, and based on my treats……..

I was able to quickly create my own patterned paper using some of the fruit images from the Well Preserved set. I just randomly stamped them all over. So fun. I was able to avoid “unnecessary” work by cutting my base panel in white lineal cardstock first, then stamping it.

I love the FRESH look I was able to achieve in just 2-3 minutes!!

Now let’s open that lid shall we?

WOW! Doesn’t that look SWEET!

Inside this Jam Packed © I “jammed” in some Clear Square Tubes. They come taller than I needed them so I used a hobby blade to cut them down to 4 inches tall 😀

How literally SWEET did this project actually turn out? This is a great gift packaging for a SIMPLE treat.

I know alot of people who enjoy hard candies.  How perfect would this be for a co-workers desk, or anyone in an office or school setting? Simple & affordable, yet looks well thought out 😀 I remember my Meme use to always have hard candies by her bed when she was alive.

This is the tube out of the box. The Clear Square Tubes. come taller than I needed them, so I used a hobby blade to cut them down to 4 inches tall 😀 It was really neat to be able to make this a perfect fit 😀

I did toss some green Easter grass in the bottom so it looked “festive” when the tubes were taken out. I have issues with NEATNESS everywhere!! It makes a huge difference I think.

As you can see I used a clear page pebble on top to make it POP!

The best part is that the tubes can EASILY be refilled!

My box base was cut utilizing the tea cut out from Raven cardstock.

My lid was created using Meadow cardstock.

A little embellishing, and this is the after!

What a difference 😀 It doesn’t take much to turn this into a complete WOW!

This is a template you are really going to want to check out!

The name for this template came from the fact that it has the ability to sweetly store your tea bags in style, OR you have the option of using the front panel that is solid, so you can use to to hold a variety of other sweet treats! Now that is something great that will help you to make this template VERSATILE…..you can opt to use the solid front panel, which is included in the template for even MORE use. You will see details for that soon 😀

Finally a template the give and even proudly display your tea, but the choice is yours. Tea cut out, or no tea cut.

Either way the presentation will be stunning. (I will share versions of this template without the cut-out as the week progresses)

The cut out portion was designed so that tea bags fit out of the front slot, and can easily be pulled out. Just open the lid, and refill. Now your favorite tea can always be at your fingertips, and proudly displayed or gifted 😀

I love the tab design! There are so many possibilities for decoration.

This was decorated SO simply. I just layered on my Flutters and Flowers (polka dot) paper for the bottom panels. 

HANDY TIP: You get a MUCH richer BLACK patterned cardstock if you chose to print using your BLACK ink ONLY.

The scallop trim was done by using the  Pretty Pieces © Cut File- Border Builders Open Scallop. I was able to line it up to create the dual scalloped trim around my lid, which I adorned with adhesive pearls, and a crochet flower from American Crafts. The center of the crochet flower is by Prima. The leaves are from the bridal section at Michael’s.

The A Spot of Tea © tea cup fits perfectly atop this box creation. ( A happy accident?? No :D)

I could have made a million “tea” themed cut files or templates, but decided to pick my favorites.

I can definitely see this sitting out on a counter ANYWHERE!  Pretty & functional all in one. There is a sweet decorative tabbed closure, and the dual functionality of it being a box that is as wonderful, as it is versatile, makes this a MUST have! 

You may want to check out the A Spot of Tea © Pretty Impressions stamp set that coordinates perfectly with this!

There are SO many pattern options for this set! You can make so many different tea cups!

Here I chose to build my cup using the scallop trim, then stamping the stripped pattern. That pattern is so elegant and pretty, and is a perfect fit to my cup too.

For my bottom portion of the cup I used the swirly rose pattern, which I took the rose “buds” and colored/cut and put on dimensionals for some POP! There are some punches out in the market that fit perfect too! So no hand-cutting.

There you have it!!

I LOVE Cherries! Cherry flavored ANYTHING, and Cherry images. I also LOVE red, black, white & olive, so this card is SO pretty to me 😀

For this pattern on my tea cup which is from A Spot of Tea ©, I combined the patterns in that set, with the cherry image from the Well Preserved set!

 I really adore the cherries from this set. The sentiment from Well Preserved was a perfect fit too 😀

How perfectly cute. You can use any of the fruit images on thier own, or on your tea cup! I’ve always been a big fan of mixing and matching sets.

Today I have a very special Pretty Packaging Template & Pretty Impressions stamp set  combination for you!

I have LONG been asked to design something for you “tea lovers” out there!

So if that describes you, then I think love is brewing…..

No! Your eyes do NOT deceive you.

Yes! You are looking at a curvy tea pot, all designed from cardstock!

BEFORE I get to the template, let me address the stamp set.

Now I have definitely had some ideas about doing a tea set. I even designed a CUTE tea pot for the Just For You © set a few months back. I knew I’d get to doing a “tea themed” set, someday.  One day I got an email from my design team member: Catherine Doucette.

We had previously spoke about her doing some concept/design work. This is partially why she left the creative part of the team. We’ve rolled over some ideas for future sets, in which there is a huge gap in the market, and would make for some GREAT coordinating gift packaging. Catherine sent me some of her sketches/ideas for the perfect tea set!

I have to say that Catherine’s take may have made this become a favorite for me. I don’t think I personally would have gone the route she wanted to take, but it all worked out so beautifully that I am glad she did.

So based on her concepts, and sketches, and my hand in the design we worked together to create A Spot of Tea ©!

Orange Zinger (one of my favorite tea flavors from Celestial Seasonings inspired this creation)

This set is about to become my favorite!! I can’t get enough of it. Actually everything this month is just over the top amazing to me 😀 Wait until you see for yourself.

This set is perfection for the tea lover! Making tea themed gifts, favors, cards, tags and other packaging couldn’t get any easier! Your cup will be overflowing with ideas and inspiration. We have a stunning tea cup, with the ability for you to use our several border pieces to create your own unique tea cup, each time you stamp!

For my tea cup I used the technique that you will see in the video below for my orange wedge.

I then cut out my cup layer, ensuring the orange would overhang my mat.

For my actual cup (which the front layer is on dimensional) I used one of the border images in the set (you will see a video on all the possibilities for that tomorrow!) and stamped my scallop layer. I then used my Copic markers to color in the scallops, and the bottom section of my cup. I created polka dots using my white Singlo gel pen. I also colored my cup, I also “colored” my “tea” in the cup too.

For my delicate floral border I took the flower/leaf images from the Fanciful Flourishes set to create my pattern! That is another thing I love about this cup! It is sized so nicely that you can incorporate all sorts of images from other sets to make so many various patterns on your tea cup! Limitless possibilities.

(Wait until you see what I did using the digital version of the set later this week!)

As you can see here is even a fruit wedge, that can rest perfectly on the edge of our tea cup.

The tea cup is about 2 1/2 inches tall, and 2 1/4 inches wide. This allows you to ability to use a variety or other stamps inside it, color it, or easily paper piece it too 😀 SO MANY OPTIONS!!

 In this set you will also find a beautiful floral border, 2 beautiful tags, and several must have sentiments!

This set was designed to coordinate with the Tea For You © and Tea Tabbed © Pretty Packaging Template.

You will also see a coordinating Pretty Pieces © Cut File called A Spot of Tea ©.  Now you don’t have to hand-cut those tags, or the adorable tea cup! You can even use it to create tea shaped place cards, tags, or invitations!

Now on my sample I created my own patterned paper to match!

Note: I stamped one of the floral border in the set along the bottom of my tea cup 😀 A elegant touch!

Once again I turned to Argyle Amazement for the ability to create yet another stunning pattern.

I just inked up my flourished argyle pattern in a green pear ink, then used my pumpkin SU! marker to color the “flowers” in the pattern. Once stamped I stamped the solid diamond pattern in a cantaloupe ink, then added a tangelo ink to dot my connecting centers! Easy peasy.

OK moving on…….

As I stated about this set also has a coordinating cut file! (also used in the sample above for the 3 D effect.)

This file was designed to coordinate perfectly with the A Spot of Tea set, but can be used on it’s own as well. Now you can make your own tea cup shaped cards, tags, favors, and place cards in minutes!

The tea cup base in this file was made so the the “mat layer” fits the border images of the A Spot of Tea stamp set. The MAT layer is the exact size of the actual tea cup. The “tea cup” from the set wasn’t designed to stamp direct on the tea cup layer.

Tags in the set are the perfect mat layer to tag images.

In this sample I stamped the dual scallop border using the A Spot of Tea © , then using the Tea Parlor: Sunflower Sprinkles paper collection, I scaled down the version of the paper used on the tea pot (samples below) to design my cup border to match!!

I stamped my sentiment from A Spot of Tea ©. The little heart was stamped using the You’ve Got Mail set. I cut it to look like a tea tag. I also used the A Spot of Tea © floral border to stamp the bottom of my tea cup!

Now what better compliment to a tea cup set, than a tea pot template?!

I know! It’s CRAZY!! I think I am the most proud of this one, out of anything I have made to date 😀 It turned out far better than imagined. Plus I made it EASY for YOU to be able to make it yourself 😀

I added a decorative button, in which my tag hangs from.

 Well Preserved is an amazing collection of sentiments and images! You will fall in love with the fruit and sentiment co-ordinations and possibilities.

For this jar of strawberry preserves I used an adhesive sticker to cover my jar lid. I stamped it with the “lattice” image from the Puckered Up Patterns set, in a pear ink. The label is from the Well Preserved stamp set.  

You will find so many wonderful uses for this set! Now personalizing your own homemade or (my personal choice) store bought  jars of yumminess couldn’t get any more easy, affordable, and fun. I included just about every sort of fruit you can preserve, with many images and sentiments to match! 

There are 2 style of canning jars. All the fruit images were made to fit within the canning jar stamp labels! As you can see by my sample above.

There are 2 great labels that can have many uses, like decorating your own canning jars, or for cards, tags, and other gift packaging, or they can be used for everyday occasions and gifts!

This is the front of my jar.  I used the Well Preserved © Pretty Pieces Cut File to cut an adhesive label sheet for my sticker. SO quick & easy. You could EASILY mass produce a bunch of labels. I stamped the label onto the cut label, then stamped the leafy border along the bottom. The 2 strawberry images were done by stamping one strawberry, then without re-inking, restamping the second strawberry. I added a page pebble over them for an additional touch. I then used the sentiment building images in the set to create the “Strawberry Preserves” for my label. Easy Peasy!

 4 1/2 Inches Tall

3 3/4 Inches Wide

3 1/2 Inches Deep  Another amazing and versatile template!  This is the decorated version! There has never been a better way to package up your “jam, jelly, preserves” or other canned goodness!! But it doesn’t stop there, I promise. You will be presented with a variety of uses/ideas as the week progresses.This is a super gift box, with a unique and fun tab tuck in closure! No more floppy lid!

This was designed to hold your traditional 8 oz. (half pint) Ball Canning Jar, but it can be used for so much more!

Now for this template to become even MORE versatile you can simply cut off the jar holder panel and it becomes a great gift box, with a fun closure, OR change the size and shape of the cut out, prior to assembly, to allow you to gift all sorts of various treats!

Well that isn’t all of it. (I know! So much to share!! Think how long this took to TYPE)

Now the HOW TO for the “patterned” paper I made for my box top.

This is an awesome pattern that YOU can make with ANY of the images from the set, to coordinate with any project, tag, or card creations.

 Simply change the fruit, and color options for a fresh and amazing new look each time.

Step 1

Stamp the dashed argyle pattern from Argyle Amazement, in a pale version of your fruit ink color. Build your entire background panel.

Note: a darker ink was utilized for photo purposes on this tutorial sample.

Step 2

Stamp whatever fruit image in the set you wish to use, in the center of every other meeting point section.

Step 3

Stamp your leaves in between the fruit images, alternating the direction, in each row.

Then stamp the leaves going to the right- in every other row

Step 4

Use your puckered X from Puckered Up Patterns to stamp all the remaining meeting points.

Step 5

Using a coordinating ink stamp the solid diamond pattern in the same rows as your fruit, remembering to skip a row, as seen in photo.

Now you are done!

Simply mix it up for a different look each and every time.

Here is the top of my box.

 I used the All Tied Up: Oval as my main layer for my jelly jar! The leaves from the Well Preserved set were a perfect fit!

That being said, my family needs my attention the next week or so, so I may be quiet, but I’ll be back shortly. If you can say a prayer for my mom on Monday. We have something important that day that could use your prayers. She just needs peace in her heart, and strength to do all she has to, to make it through some tough things. I would do it for her if I could, and I am doing my best to block the wind from knocking over her sails. I have faith that everything will work out.

Today I am being featured as a Guest Designer at Scrapbook News and Review!

Well I wasn’t sure what to think when Erika emailed me, asking me to participate as their first guest designer!

My initial reply to Erika was-“I don’t scrapbook (well not much, and I’m not good at it), so I don’t know that I can be a guest!” She quickly replied that Scrapbook News & Review was all about everything! Just do whatever I want, and it should be fine.

Well, needless to say I was of course “nervous” about WHAT I would do! I always feel that way any time I’m “featured” in some way, be it a My Timeless Template release, group project, newsletter or of course-guest spot. I never want to disappoint anyone.

That being said I figured the majority of readers are most likely scrappers! So I kept in mind the fact that they ALL use photos-a lot! I knew I wanted to do SOMETHING special with them, but was unsure. Myself, on the hunt for great, inexpensive gift ideas found the PERFECT idea!
