 Well its Monday!

That means its time for another Monday’s with My Time Video!

If you use a Google reader or other program you will have to watch it here, on my blog. SORRY! Not sure HOW that all works.

All I can say is due the vacation and sickness, then my new video editing (which I was UNABLE to use :C GRR!) I had one heck of a time making this one today! I’ll spare you the details, but I think the end result was worth it, and hope you do too.

My goal for today is to help you learn some photo software so you can create your own sketches and such. That is something I get asked about a lot.

I was leery about continuing videos, but I will move forward since so many asked I don’t quit! I have my disclaimer-that I will include with every post!!

NOTE: If you click ON the thumbnails AFTER the video it takes you to the Veoh site. Some of the content there I am told is “R” rated and you may not want to do that around young children. So if you just watch the video here on my blog, and avoid the thumnails you should be OK. Not sure WHY they don’t have ONLY stamp related videos pop up, but I guess some aren’t.

Bottom line: Click at your own risk!

I am not responsible for content that links to the videos from the Veoh site.

Thank you 😀

I hope you enjoy today’s video!

laurens-tutorial-sketch.png

This is the Sketch that I will show you how to make from the beginning drawing (and the inspiration source), to creating it on my computer, to the making of the actual sample, as seen here!

no-lion.png

No Lion, you are the best!

This is card I will create on the video, utilizing the sketch above.

This card uses Life’s a Jungle by CTMH.I got mine HERE. I think its SOOOO adorable. I needed MORE boy stuff. I got rid of most of it, then when its time to MAKE a boy card I cringe! LOL! Granted it can be used for ANY theme with the sentiments.

I also do MORE Copic coloring, and use Fun Flock in the video.

I decided to make yet ANOTHER boy card (for my stash!) for all of you out there who beg for more BOY themed ideas 😀 This is an area I promise to work on more!

Genuine Boy

genuine-kid.png

I love Dress Up Billy for Boy stuff! The dog is from the Lily & Billy accessories set (a must have!).

I think he looks so cute, skateboarding off the card!

Used MORE Stampin’ Up! patterned paper. Feels good to actual SUE what I have instead of BUYING more stuff I really DON’T need (right?).

I had fun with the layering of it all.

I hope you get to try the sketch OR if you can make your own!

Should be fun! The entire video is PACKED with info.

Well that’s all fore me now. I talk enough on the video to last a lifetime 😀

I love to hear your feedback.

Thanks for visiting me here.

Till tomorrow.

Saturday Sketch!

Feb 28, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Saturday Sketch

WOOT! WOOT!!

I have my video done 😀 YEAH! I spent ALL night on it. Long story. I think it will help you all-fingers crossed.

I will upload it Monday. Sorry. I have my niece here (YEAH! She is awesome! Ill post photos soon too!) and 2 Papertrey posts for tomorrow, so I’ll wait till then since I worked SOOOOOO hard on the video, and think it deserves it OWN space to share. Plus it IS Monday 😀 So it will be perfect for Monday’s with My Time.

I feel 100% better-happy about that 😀 Can’t afford to be sick.

Here is my sweet Noah! Recuperating on the couch, holding his get well card  I made him.

He keeps it next to him on the couch 😀

noah-card.png

Noah had a good night, still in pain, but OK! The “area” is lookin OUCH! still. He is all emotional from the meds! OH BOY!! Cry at the drop of a hat. Can you tell he’s a bit “loopy”?! LOL! Poor kid.

This is the card for Noah!

He asked for a “Noah holding a dinosaur-in blue”. Here is my interpretation of it.

super-noah.jpg

I made this using Dress up Billy, Sentiment is from Billy Plate 1.

This is from my sketch mytimess22. I used some old SU! paper (yes Im trying to use up old paper!) I was SOOO tempted to add ribbon but I knew that would “over do it”.

I did the stars using the Star Nestabilities, and some glitter!! I think they look really cool.

His head is 3d. As is his hospital gown, which is paper pieced.

super-noah-2.png

The “hospital gown” was made from the “graduation gown” from the Dress Up Lily & Billy set. I thought it looked JUST like one, and it totally resembled one Noah had to wear for his surgery.

I wished I had a little IV pole! LOL! That would have been cute. I should have drawn one! LOL! YEAH! RIGHT!!!

Noah really liked it, and thats all that matters.

Anyway-I have a sketch packed with inspiration!! I hope it inspires you to get stamping!

Check out the DT samples too!

    Get Well Soon!

    damask-get-well.jpg

I am in LOVE with this card! LOVE!!!!!! The colors, layout-all of it!

This is one of my FAVORITE sets from LAD Damask! Its ON SALE —>20% OFF this week!! SO RUN! The sentiment is a single called Get Well Soon!

I created the flower, and made it 3D as well. I then drew a border around my image, for added interest, and a illusion of another layer 😀

Then I made another card-I was SOOOO inspired 😀

    Whootin Hi

    whootin-avie.png

    How flippin adorable is that?!

I altered the sketch a bit by adding the ribbon, and sentiment circle. (sentiment is fromPTI Wise Owl set)

I LOVE the owls in non-traditional colors. Inspired by MORE SU! paper! LOL!

I have had these owls Hoo-Hoo There from Stampavie’s Rachelle Anne Miller line-for MONTHS! They were the first image I bought from them, and FINALLY got to use it. I LOVE owls.

These are the CUTEST owls ever.

    whootin-detail.png

I cut their eyes/beaks to make them POP!

As you can tell lately Im all about POP!! Nothing is better than 3D!! A simple quick way to make a WOW!

I colored them with Copic markers, sponged some ink, and added some glitter.

    Done.

I love the end result of this with the sketch! I hope you get to try it out, and send us a link.

Well thats it. The baby duty calls. Boy getting this post done took me 4 hours in between caring for the baby. I forgot how time consuming these little beings are. I so missed the baby smell and cuddles.

    I’m in heaven today 😀

OK check back tomorrow for my 2 new posts!!!

Lizzie Anne Designs Sketch #67 Challenge

Feb 23, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Saturday Sketch

OK its My turn to host the monthly Sketch challenge for Lizzie Anne Designs 😀

I had WAY too much fun with it 😀

    lad-sketch.png

This is Sketch #67! Link your creation in the forum—>HERE!

I cannot wait to see what you do.

I made 2 cards with it, since I was on a creative roll. I LOVE sketches 😀 They are a great starting point. I should use my sketches more often, but sadly once I use it once, I usually never use it again :C I spent the morning printing my OLD sketches for myself for more use in the future, and as a good reference.

I am also sketching FUTURE sketches to send to my Saturday Sketch Team! We will have like 20 in advance!!

OK here is my take on the sketch-

    A little birdie party

    birdie-3.JPG

This card uses the Party Animals set. I thik its SOOOO cute.

OK so I didn’t follow my own sketch EXACTLY (sentiment is on the side), but thats OK! Its as starting point of inspiration. I really  feel like once you get the “sketch” part out of the way MAKING the card comes so much easier!

I picked the paper first (Target $1 spot LAST year), then went from there! I’m in LOVE with this color combo

Raspberry Fizz (my new favorite color!), spring moss, and Lemon Tart-HEAVEN!!

The “added” challenge with the sketch was to use glitter! I have it on the present, and cupcake.

The birds hat is 3D! Oh and glitter on her tail.

Now moving on…………………..2nd sample with the sketch uses a FAVORITE LAD set of mine 😀 called Tea Time

    tea-sketch-choice.JPG

As you can see I did mix it up a bit, using a large circle. I LOVE this card.

Im beyond addicted to the Chloe paper by Making Memories!

The paper base is a cream color, so I used natural ivory from SU! I also use Blue Bayou, and barely banana.

I had this ribbon from American Crafts, and it really was a nice touch since I think it picks us the lighter blue too.

I just LOVE this card, and the colors. Oh and of course-the dimension. I feel everything should be multi-layered 😀

Well that is all for today.

I hope you get inspired to give the sketch a try!!

I HOPE to get my video done today. My life has been busy.

Also Noah is having a minor surgery on Friday, and Im starting to freak out a little bit. Its nothing “serious”, but surgery is surgery, and I have had my share or “yes it can happen to “me” and my family” type of things, so if you can remember, just pray it goes well.

He has to have a circumcision. I know TOO MUCH info. Jay is going to KILL me for putting this out there for the world! LOL!

Long story short-when he was a baby we couldn’t get him circumcised because I had a bleeding disorder (or so I was told at 15 when I was going to get my tonsils out! They wouldn’t do it), and was told that if I had Noah gotten circumcised he could have the same disorder, and was at high risk of bleeding to death from the circumcision.

(Fast forward to pregnancy with Amber, and they re-tested me for everything and found NO disorder! Oh well, everything happens for a reason right?)

Well, Alexa had heart surgery at 3 weeks old. I had no choice. This was “elective” why put him through that possible risk?? Plus now over 70% (I believe-not cold hard fact) aren’t getting their boys circumcised, so I wasn’t going to freak out over it. There were worse things to worry about in the world.

OK now onto today-he went years without any problems. Then 4 months ago he got his first infection. They have continued to re-occur several times in that span, and he developed scar tissue after the first one. That leads to more infections-blah blah blah, leading us to NOW have to get him snipped!

I happy we can get it done. But nervous all the same.

He will be put out. The procedure is only 20 minutes long, but its still risky with any anesthesia. So a little prayer for smooth sailing doesn’t hurt.

He will supposedly be a a lot of pain for 2 days -with NO active stuff for 2 weeks (I don’t know-that is from a MALE doctor and you know how MEN are when you mess with their boy parts! LOL!). Jason had a vasectomy, 2 TINY stitches, and it took 2 WEEKS for him to recover-BIG BABY!

I pushed out 9lb kids and the second they are out, they are thrown on my chest, and the staff is like “Ok here you go! Feed it!” LOL! With Alexa I had 8 stitches down yonder, after 32 hour of labor, and 2 hours of pushing and discharged myself 4 hours after giving birth to follow her to the hospital she was getting transferred to.

SOOOOOO not sure how this will go. Noah is pretty good when he is sick, but again, we are messing with the boy parts, so we will see.

Thanks for letting me vent my worry here. I know I dealt with more than this before. We all hate to see our kids in pain. We haven’t told him everything. We most likely wont.

Just that he will get put to sleep, and we will be there. They will fix his boy part while sleeping, and then we will be there when he wakes up!

Don’t want to dish too much info KWIM? He’d be scared to death.

OK well I need to run.

    Thanks again for stopping by.

    Wish me another productive day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    BAD Sketch poster!

Feb 20, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Saturday Sketch

OH boy am I ever on a BAD blogger stint!

This post is a little early

I’ve been so crazy doing so much stuff (most you have no idea about! LOL! like more templates and other must wait to see stuff) I haven’t been doing well posting my OWN samples for my Saturday Sketches! Good grief (Charlie Brown).

THIS week for the sketch we are going to what I am going to call “So Long Ago Sketch Saturday” This feature is when we will ALL pick an OLD sketch and use it NOW!

You can see ALL my old sketches here

This will be a regular feature on my blog! Except for this week, I will make this a LAST Saturday of the month challenge for the team (and you!) I think I will be fun to dig up some of the oldies but goodies, and get a fresh take on them.

back to the bad blogger stint:

With all the baby excitement I forgot to post my Sketch 24 last week! I think I deserve a big pardon on that though.

So here it is! Late but not forgotten.

    mytimess24

    mytimess24.png

Then (believe this) I made a super cute sample-BUT it uses the Papertrey Ink Anniversary set! That means I can’t even share it yet! LOL! When I find my head I’ll let you know.

The week before that I did’t have my own sample for Sketch 23, but I do have one I threw together now (if it counts! LOL!) Never too late right?

    Sending Flowers

    flower-shop-get-well.JPG

Now when people are sick, sometimes you send them flowers right?

So I thought WHY NOT, and IMAGE of a flower shop!

I used the Welcome Home set for the flower shop, and sketched sentiments for my “get well soon”

I think the colors are SURE to cheer someone up.

I have to tell you Im in LOVE with the SU! Scallop border punch. WOW! Oh and their buttons 😀  The paper is by Making Memories. SO cheery.

    OK thats all for me

Don’t miss the Sketch Team (on Sat) some have been busier than me! LOL!)

Can’t wait to see what you do with “my” time.

    Sketch time

Feb 7, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Saturday Sketch

    Sorry this is LATE!!

Im running around crazy here, and Jason FINALLY decides he has the engery to move the kids play room to our newly finished room (my brother was living there for several months) in the basement. We now have to run out and get the carpeting purchased, so he can install that later this afternoon, then we will begin the BIG move.

Boy do my kids have a TON of crap! That’s it. Next Christmas NO GIFTS! LOL!! That’s how I feel most years, but obviously that doesn;t happen. What is worse is I do go through ALL their stuff like every 3 months, yet it somehow manages to get out of control, even still.

Every have a day where you turn around and REALLY “see” a room and the clutter? I despise clutter! And now I’m in panic mode. I feel like I need to clean and re-organize everything (which I so don’t have time for). I think “I” am getting that nesting thing that my brother and his girlfriend SHOULD be getting, but haven’t got yet.

Anyway-I hope she calls me SOON. I’m excited for this baby to come. I feel like I get to have a baby without all the “work” and weight gain! LOL!

    OK here is the sketch

    mytimess23.png

    Mytimess23

I’m sure you want to kill me when you hear I don’t have a good sample for you :C I have just not had time to make one. But I swear I will!!

I have been too busy working on stuff Im not suppose to be.

PLUS-We are in the process of switching to a new computer so we have to transfer everything from this one, and I’m STILL trying to get my email properly running. Fairpoint doesn’t have great timing on this.

OK I know, noboady needs to hear the blah blah blah-sorry. Im just on a little tangent.

In the meantime check out the Sketch Team!

    Get your sketch on……

Jan 24, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Home decor/3-D items, Saturday Sketch

AWE! How can I thank all of you for cheering me up so much? I mean that with all my heart.

I’m also trying to focus on what is TRULY important in life-and that is my kids, and my husband. If I got a phone call that Alexa’s cancer was back, nothing else in the world would matter. The bottom from the bucket would just fall out. This hurt I feel is nothing by comparison. Its just another bump in the road. I hope that makes sense. I just wasn’t expecting it, thats all. Sometimes thing take us by surprise. So Im diving into stamping and letting it roll off my back.

Your words really meant a lot to me. You have no idea how down I was. Thank you-a million times over.

Many of you expressed concern for my stamp-insanity! LOL! I have to say that doing all the stamping I do, and sharing here IS my therapy. I truly enjoy it. Trust me I don’t get paid to blog! LOL! I wouldn’t enjoy it if it was a “job”. I do it for the enjoyment of it.

As far as the videos……….well I enjoy making them and sharing them, the editing-well I could hang myself! LOL! Part of it is my editing software, the other part is YouTube restrictions. I simply can’t edit myself that much! LOL! I feel its all worth it.

Also thanks for the congrats on my weight loss!! I have worked hard, and exercise daily, so I appreciate that 😀

Anyway…….I’ll pick a winner tonight. I’m typing this Friday eve so a winner right now would be “unfair”. So, in the meantime, it is time for another sketch!

I hope you like it! I am lovin it.

    WARNING: blonde working PSP program.

Im sorry that the sketch double layered itself-see my card for better “visual”.

UPDATE! I replaced the sketch!! Deanne Burton fixed it for me!! Thank you

    Here is the mytimess21

    mytimess212.png

    Now here is my card.

    Anyway, you slice it

    watermelon-slice-card-choice.jpg

I LOVE the patterned fruit set called Tutti Fruity by Lizzie Anne Designs.

When I was the set I immediately wanted to make a watermelon. I don’t have ANY fruit sets! Crazy. The sentiments in this ROCK! Im so over the moon with it.

ONE PROBLEM: Making a watermelon required not only stamping the polka dot wedges (I used Berry Sorbet ink) but also the black seed wedge outline. Now these are RUBBER stamps, so I dusted off my Stamp-a-ma-jig and went to town. It was REALLY easy using that, and I felt happy with the outcome.

I then colored in the edge with a pink marker. The outer edge I colored green, then drew lines for a rind 😀

How summer is that? Its freezing here and this card warms me right up.

    Now who’d of thunk it!

This “watermelon” image sparked all this!

    watermelon-set.jpg

How flippin yummy is this gift set?!

We have a card-a “watermelon” gable box- I made myself-from scratch, by looking at a smaller version of a box, and a tag to match. I used 2 pieces of patterned paper, adhered together to get a good size. That was one of those-I can’t sleep at 2am projects! LOL!

The box was NOT an easy task. Im beyond excited over it though. It was refining MANY template desings, then finally tracing one I perfected onto my patterned paper.

In the future I’m just going to BUY some boxes in a large size.

ALWAYS use SCRAP first!! Then create and save a final template for future use 😀

    watermelon-box-front.jpg

I used Papertrey Ink Pink  patterned paper for my watermelon “wedge” paper. The “seeds” are True Blackcardstock punched with my SU! oval 😀 The handle is a oval nestablity.

    watermelon-gable-box.jpg

The bottom is just strips of spring moss cardstock, and ripe avocado-layer on some may arts ribbon and my friends we have a watermelon rind! I added a vellum tag for my sentiment

Here is a closer view of the tag.

    slice-tag.jpg

I like the tag. I don’t make many “tags” so this was fun.

I stamped the round image first, then filled it in with the watermelon wedges using my Stamp-a-ma-jig. I then cut it out, so from ONE image, I got my card and tag watermelon slice!

I like it all. I hope you do too.

Now time to go check the Sketch team samples!

Need your help-some news and a sketch

Jan 17, 2009 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Saturday Sketch

I have so many feelings right now.

    #1 Exhausted!

    #2 Elated

    #3 Even MORE motivated

    #4 Excited to get going.

#5 Everything rolled into one = I want to hug.

I can’t tell you all how happy I am that the overall response to my first videos was SO positive! Thank you so much for that. I know I’m not “professional” -yet! LOL! I can assure you when I set my mind to something I WILL make it happen. I am getting some new video editing software! Thanks to all of you! My hubby realized there is a “need” here! LOL! So yeah, for that.

I know I have lots to change and learn, and that particular tutorial was MUCH longer that most will be, so it was ahrd to cut down. Especially just filming and having NO clue what the entire process entails.

I was very limited on my time and what I could fit. After seriously 12 hours of editing (due to having to cut it down like 5 times!) I was so over it. Didn’t look like it would take that long did it? Granted Im far from computer savvy, but now I know what I need to do next time.

Bottom line Im glad you enjoyed it, and I have taken the advice you all have given me, and hope to put it into my next video. I am expecting my next one to be awesome! I think given all the feed back and just the recording/editing process I learned SOOOOO much. So thank you for making me feel comfortable.

Many asked that I stay “myself”. No worries there! I have no plan on being anyone else or “acting”. I’m not like that. What you see- is what you get, like it, or hate it.

People here whom know/met me in real life can tell you that. I’m a huge talker (yes with my hands too!) and it definitely got easier as I went on. I think too knowing you all didn’t think I was a HUGE geek will help me feel more confident next time. Now I just have to get over the “talking to myself” weirdness. Doing the tutorial wasn’t hard at all, as far as the talking goes, because I had a plan and direction.

All that being said-if I could hug you all I absolutely would!

OK so this weekend I have to get my first Mondays’ with Mytime video ready, and by the sounds of it most of you want 2 things-a view of my craft space and organization, and a coloring tutorial. Well Im flattered that you want to watch ME color-but I’m no expert! That one *MAY* be too intimidating! LOL! But it’s on the list.

So to get me started-feel free to leave a comment about anything specific you want to ask me, or have addressed-like a product or technique. I know many want to know about HOW I come up with a template-maybe I can answer and explain that on one as well.

SO I need your help-I don’t know what else you want if you don’t tell me! SO lets hear it!

In the meantime-lets get started on our Saturday Sketch!

    mytimess20.png

I love this one :D! I am going to do another sample sometime today I hope.\

    Use keyword mytimess20!

If you can send us a link here so we can enjoy your creation. I have to say the “regular” participants I have seen as well as the Sketch Team, keep improving their samples, week after week! Have you noticed? You all just rock it out! So on that note, thank you for participating. I enjoy giving you a tool to spark or jumpstart some point to begin with some stamping and creativity !

Before I begin to share my sample, I have some FUN news to share. I was going to be a guest designer this month forStampavie.  I LOVE their style to pieces, and after creating some things, Heidi asked me stay! Here <—-is that post.

Now if you look at their other designers, they are truly amazing and talented. Their coloring is INSANE! They all seem to use Prismacolor pencils, which I have no interest in now that I have my Copic’s! LOL! But the look they achieve is stunning.

It’s very intimidating to design next to these girls, as my overall style is very different than all of theirs, but all I can do is be myself, and offer you MY take on the images. I just know my jaw hits the floor when I see their stuff.

I’m excited to start fresh in the new year. I LOVE “cutesy” and this company is JAM packed with it 😀

So I hope you get to enjoy seeing more of my creations here with the company line. I have cut back on many other areas and design work with the new year as well. I need more time to focus on other areas in my life. My requirements are minimal so that works for me.

I also wanted more time to work on my resolutions -like vamp up my blog (aka my videos) and photos/tutorials and other ideas I have in the works, create MORE jaw dropping templates (yes we have over 2 years worth already, but that doesn’t mean I don’t get MORE ideas in the meantime :D), start an ETSY shop (so I can sell and get rid of what I create, rather than most of it sitting in a box!), and maybe get back to submitting for publication! I haven’t been able to do it in SO long, its time to start that again.

    Anyway-should be a fabulous year.

All that being said, here is my sample :

    Always on the go!

    on-the-go.jpg

This card uses a NEW! line by Leere Aldrich. A NEW! “to be released” stamp line from Stampavie

Yes, they are cute, and yes you will need them!! LOL! If you want the “Details” of WHEN you can get them and about them —> HERE you go! Bottom line, you have to wait till after CHA :C

These girls are so beyond cute! (I have to say when you see the Spring line from Rachelle Anne Miller you will just FREAK!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I had to add that in there!)

When I saw this cute car image I was over the moon for her.

I had to color and cut her out. I think she looks so fabulous driving into the circle!

    on-the-go-close.jpg

I recently got some new paper by Making Memories, and it was my color inspiration for this. Not my typical colors, but SO Spring! Loved them. I also got the embellies to match! I love no brainer stuff.

I really like trying to get out of my comfort zones often, and try new things. I don’t want to stay stuck in a trend or “rut”.

There was a layered patterned sheet, that I die cut, because to me it was like the grass, the road, then the sky! I know Im a nerd. But that is what I saw.

My sentiment is from Amy’s set- Boutique Sentiments

Instead of the circle details, I used a flower, and sentiment. No worries, I’ll make another sample that more suits the sketch.

Sometimes you just have to go with what feels right. It may not be EXACTLY like the sketch, but thats OK! I had fun and used what I felt worked!

Speaking of shopping…………….let me share ONE more with ya!

    Unlimited Credit

    unlimited-credit.jpg

Another Leere Aldrich image/sentiment from Stampavie

I was freakin out when I saw the sentiments that are also coming out with these sets! I HAD to use the shopping girl, and cut out the credit card.  The sentiment is stamped over an image from my paper pack I had. Its perfect because the girl has all that stuff on! LOL!

I made this one yesterday, while I was on the phone with my friend Tracey. If you didn’t know I’m a huge multi-tasker! I can’t just do ONE thing.

I had the paper by Marcella from K&Co for years, and now was the PERFECT time to dust it off.

Don’t you love her?! I think shes just so cute.

So there you have it. My peeks for today.

I hope you get some “my time” in. We are off to shop! My 2nd favorite thing to do -next to stamping 😀

Till tomorrow-I’ll have a post of a Christmas gift I made for another one of Amber’s teachers.

OK I am truly -truly- exhausted!

Lots of posting/samples to share over the next few days! I hope you will check in daily to see it all.

Im posting my Sat. Sketch early so I don’t have to deal with it tomorrow. My brother moved out, so now we have to work on getting the play room completed, and take down our Christmas tree!! (oh and more stuff to make) Can you tell I’ve been REALLY busy! YIKES. At this point I may have to decorate it for Valentines Day. Why not? That could be fun. That goodness its a fake tree.

So here is the Saturday Sketch

     Whootin Hi!

    How cute is she?

I just colored my leaves in with my Copic markers. They aren’t suppose to be fully colored. They are like funky fall leaves 😀

Instead of a paper layer, I stitched a faux third layer! Can you see it??

I love the colors of this one.

Stamp set- Wise Owl, Rustic Branches

cardstock-dark chocolate, kraft sweet blush, white

    Patterned paper- by Stampin Up

So that is it. I hope you get to try the sketch! Send us a link if you do

    owl-sketch.jpg

I HAD to use a new set coming out from MFT called Owl for all Seasons by Stephanie Fizer. She also has a digital paper line coming out too!! I used it on my card today 😀 REALLY CUTE!!!

I LOVE owls! All owls. Not sure what it is, but Im owl happy. These owls definitely make me very happy. I love the happy retro colors, and the paper. So fun.

    Little close up for ya-

What do you think of the sketch?

You can use shapes in place of the squares. I love this sketch and think Im going to use it some more! Mix it up a bit.

I hope you get to have fun with it, and send us a link here if you give it a try!

In the mean time check out my fab sketch team. I hope they got to give it a try. I was WAY late sending it to them this week! We are now one month ahead though, so thats good.

    Sketch time

Dec 27, 2008 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Saturday Sketch

OK today is short and sweet. Lots to do. And no, no photos yet. I am still opening boxes of stuff from the holiday-insane!

Im still so “after holiday busy” that Im having a hard time getting back to the real world. Plus Jay has all next week off 😀

I blog daily and having a few days off has been nice.

I am looking forward to stamping again, but with it being the weekend……….not likely. I do have some things to share so that is good

I am trying to still figure out my camcorder editing software stuff. The camcorder itself is easy peasy-the software is not going to well. I’ll keep you posted. I WILL get this to work!

OK so here is the sketch today: mytimess17

    Bloomin thoughts of you

I love the POP these colors have 😀 This is a set by Lizzie Anne Designs called Dreaming of Dots. I love that set, and this image is my fave from it.

    So have fun layering it.

Pray I figure this video thing out soon. Im going crazy, and its killing my mojo.

I’m so happy to hear you all had a great holiday!

Hope you get some stamp time to try the sketch. In the meantime let’s see if the sketch team was able to get in on the fun this crazy weekend
