    We have a cockapoo too Lauren, her name is Missy and she looks quite a bit like your Daisy, although Missy weighs almost double, around 28 pounds. We got her from a shelter, so we “think” she’s around 5 or 6 years old. I’m glad you’re taking some time off, you really need to take care of YOU! I’m praying for your family, especially your Mom. Hugs to you sweetie 🙂

    Thanks for sharing the cute pictures of Daisy. I know I’ve told you this before, but we have a black cocka-poo named Giggles who is almost 3 and weighs just over 14 lbs too. She must be the Yin to his Yang. 🙂

    I wanted to give you a name of a book that is very insightful and just lays it all out in plain English.

    The title is WHY DOES HE DO THAT? Inside the Minds of Angry and Controlling Men, by Lundy Bancroft.

    He goes through and explains some things about these abusive men and the abused women. It gives you insight into the abusive relationship and justifies leaving and not only the physical abuse, but mental abuse….Puppy dog ‘I’m sorry’…..that’s so part of the abusive man’s strategy to gain control. Such a great book for me to keep strong and stay gone!!! I hope you get a chance to read it and especially your mom. She’s not alone, though I’m sure she feels that way sometimes (another tactic of a controlling man–keep ’em isolated) Prayers and Good Thoughts to you and your family!!

    Hey Lauren, your doggie is so cute! I wanted to let you know that our vet told us it takes 3 weeks for an animal (dog specifically) to recover from a loss. We used to have two dogs and when one of them passed the other was just beside herself. She spent most of her time looking for the other dog. It was quite sad. But sure enough 21 days later she finally started to be more like her old self. Just like humans, animals need time to grieve. Hopefully Daisy will be back to normal soon.
    In the meantime, enjoy your time off. I’m looking forward to seeing what you and your team have up your sleeve for the next release.
