Lauren,
I can SO relate to your story, and find it very inspiring to get me off my butt and working out again! Like you, I was always wonderfully thin (although growing up it didn’t feel wonderful) and didn’t have weight issues until my age and stress caught up with me. We went through a terrible family crisis last year, and that’s when I started stress eating. It is a habit that has returned again this year as we deal with several friends having severe family issues. I had gotten myself into a work out routine and for the first time in my life had LOST weight! But, unfortunately, I suffer from asthma and I caught an upper respiratory infection and that kept me from exercising long enough to break the habit. Now I just keep putting off the starting point rationalizing that it’s too close to the holidays to start depriving myself now! How do you make cookies and not eat them?
Anyway, thanks for the inspiration! I hope I actually do something with it this time!

Thanks for taking the time to share your story! It may just be the motivation that I’ve been looking for! Like you, I”ve done it before, but losing the wt and KEEPing it off is a real struggle. And, like you, I’m doing the stress or sad eating. That’s gotta stop! thanks again…you’re the best! And, you really do look fantastic!
