Kelley from Our Daily Bread is going to give ONE of YOU the chance to win THIS SET!!!!! HERE!!!!!
Just leave a comment on this post!
I would love to hear what your most difficult challenge is for paper crafting.
Be it a color, technique, templates-WHATEVER challenge you face! Or maybe something you want to learn!!! SO leave that info in the comments section, to enter to WIN!
I will draw the winner, by random.org., on Tuesday!
Best of LUCK!
Sorry Im SOOOO late with this post. I really needed a break, and we are trying to get our Easter stuff done, then I got side tracked with some MOJO, so I had to stamp 😀 All for FUN too!! Love that.
Plus I needed a card for Jay’s grandmother-its her b-day.
One of my photo lights broke, so I’m trying to find one to replace it-and WOW! They are pricey and hard to find. I really NEED it, so am hoping I can find one sooner rather than later.
I hope you have a great Easter weekend for those who celebrate it.
We are off to BUY a pre-made dessert for tomorrow. Normally I knock myself out trying to “do it all”. I always come up with some fabulous dessert idea. It takes a few hours to do. It’s always been that way, for every function, since I have been with Jason.
Don’t get me wrong, I have enjoyed doing it, but not really anymore. It’s another thing on my to-do list! I decided to let the stress of that just go. I do think I should definitely contribute by bringing something. I was taught you never go to someone’s home empty handed, and you always help in the kitchen and with clean up.
Anyway-letting it go just feels good. I didn’t make anything for Christmas either. I bought some tarts.
It doesn’t make sense anyway-I spend more on the ingredient’s than I would on a dessert that is just as fabulous , but already made, and saving me TIME!
OK so I do feel a “little” guilty about not bringing a home-made dessert, but I’ll get over it, while I’m stamping instead 😀
For those who asked Alexa seems to be OK! Thank GOD! She is at her father’s this weekend. I’m a little sad, she isn’t here, and missing some family stuff with us, but she really wants to be there, since they have a new baby.
Now lets get to the sketch!!
We are keeping it in the corner-and SINGLE layer!!!
I so love this sentiment.
I used this flower by Stampendous, that my friend bought me a while ago. It’s amazing what you find when you dig through your PILES of stamp cases. I LOVE this image, and have not used it as often as I would have liked to.
Doing this helps me BEHAVE, and NOT buy unnecessary stuff-just because I like to get new things! LOL!
I made this after my card posted the other day, using colors inspired from some funky shorts I saw a Target.
The colors are white, gray, celery, and olive. The flower center is all green Stickels-really pretty in person. I liked the main image at that top corner, so not expected. Most of the time we put things in the bottom right, or left.
For me, I also don’t usually make cards that the focus is horizontal-isn’t that strange? I perfer a vertical layout.
Do you have any card quirks, like that, that you have noticed?
I also LOVE WHITE!!!! LOVE IT!!!!
I try to step out of the box and use more color-but sometimes you just dont need it-KWIM?
I love clean and simple-yet finely detailed cards. Theya re the one’s I am MOST drawn to in a store. Not sure why, they always capture my attention, but they do.
After my post —>HERE<—, I realized MANY of you need help keeping it S-I-M-P-L-E!
So for todays sketch, THAT is exactly what I need YOU to do.
You can add MINIMAL layer’s (if needed) but I perfer you keep it a SINGLE layer. If you get it to go a little off the edge-heck, even better.
You need to keep your main image to “A” corner. I don’t care which one-just do it.
Here is another example I did-so you get another idea.
This card uses my NEW! Birds Galore set by Inkadinkadoo, and the Papertrey Ink Birthday Basic’s set.
I stamped the bird in versamark, then heat set with Heat & Stick powder. Applied some copper foil for a neat look!
I then used my Scor-Pal, to create a light embossed border around the bird. SO subtle and pretty! Still needed “something” so I added the Maya Road velvet flowers, with some silver bling-for contrast!
Love it! Very simple-keeps my image at a CORNER!!! AND is ONE layer!
Now its your turn.
If you try the sketch post a link in the comment’s section. I hope you do-its a great one for quick cards, and a challenge for most!
The key is-DON’T OVER THINK IT! OK!
If you try the sketch-that allows you to enter for the stamp set 2x’s!!!
Tomorrow I will share my flower tutorial used on one of my Papertrey Projects!! I am also excited to soon share photos of the kids rooms-I may do a Smilebox, and the Thank You card I made for Kathie who made Daisy’s album!
OK now I’m off!
Till tomorrow.

I learn so much from your blog- but my biggest difficulty is in not being afraid to just go to my craft room and play!
The hardest thing for me are directions to new projects with the limited time I pay attention to the directions. I like to look at what I am trying. Well can’t wait to get home at try the lastest sketch. I love sketches. I will read your post a little later going shopping.
My biggest difficulty right now is blending with the copic markers. I think I am doing what I should but it doesn’t work very well. I guess I’ll be looking for video tutorials on that…
My challenge this weekend is to get 25 invitations done for a baby shower. I am challenging myself to use the umbrella from your tutorial a few days ago. I sure hope it really is as easy as you make it look!
I have the most trouble with embossing. I get frustrated with the little flakes, uneven coverage, or warping. I do fine with black powders but some of the fancy ones I struggle with.
My challenge is with the size of layers, getting the proportions to look right. Your blog is so inspirational ..and I love this set….
Easter Blessings to you and your family.
Rebecca
(some people use Duct tape to fix things…God used Nails!)
Wow, that is a beautiful set! Who wouldn’t LOVE to win that!
I am so happy to be back home, and back online! I love all the projects you have had since I left a week ago…all are BEAUTIFUL!!! My PaperTrey package was here when I got home…YAY! I love your creations with the new colors and paper…
I hope you have a wonderful weekend…sounds like you have a LOT to do!!! 😀
Lauren~ The hardest thing for me is to find the time to stamp! I seem to have a never-ending to do list and paper crafting is always on the bottom. 🙁
Love the stamp set! Have a great weekend!
Becky
I know this will sound crazy, I am bow challenged or maybe I should say ribbon challenged. My stamping friends know this, so when we get together they make the bows for me.
I will definitely be participating with your sketch! I just got some new stamps yesterday that this sketch would be perfect for! And one of the most difficult things I find in stamping is coordinating colors. But sometimes I have a hard time finding a stamp that works with everything else on the card… I have one like that on the table right now. The whole card is done, except it needs something else. So, I’ll post my card soon!
I love the sketch idea. I think my biggest challenge is to do a simple card and just learn to leave it alone! lol. I always think it needs something more, just a bit of something. I may have to try this just to get out of my comfort of more, more more!
My challenge is to use the things I have rather than looking for the next “big thing” to buy. I’ve gotten better at it this year but I love shopping for card making supplies!
Both of these cards are just beautiful. Ever think about doing a simple tutorial on joseph’s coat? It’s one I want to learn an easy, understandable version to. I’ve tried other tutorials, but mine just end up looking like blobs.
I love your blog, Lauren. Your blog gives me so many ideas and inspiration to try something new and to step outside of my very small box. 🙂 Right now, I’m trying to advance beyond basic stamping using masking, markers, etc. Little by little and through blogs and tutorials like yours, I’ll get there. 🙂
I really love the simple cards and have been getting more into making them lately, while not single layer, they are still fairly simple and not “over-stamped”. You’ve done a beautiful job with these two cards and I will definitely be trying this out for myself later! My biggest challenge? Figuring out how to use a technique as a focus on a card. I typically work from sketches (whether I draw them out or use someone else’s), so starting with a main image is like working backwards for me! I love these new stamps from Our Daily Bread and will definitely be keeping an eye out for their new releases a well!
I like your bird on a brach very much, especially the copper you used. Clean card!
THis is an easy one. pp, I have such a hard time matching it up and using several pcs on one sheet. That is sooo pretty, but major hard.
I love this set, when I went to the site, I thought how pretty this would be inked up!!
Hope your all Blessed this Easter!!
I have to say coloring images, I haven’t found a system I like yet.
Claudia
[email protected]
Coloring is my greatest challenge!!
I have a hard time using Copics =(
Love both cards, hopefully I have time to try this one…we’re off to a Mexican Riviera cruise early in the morning =)
GORGEOUS set from ODB!!
And LOVE your cards!
Hmmm…learning to color….getting into Copics now and lovin’ ’em!
HELLO,
The hardest part of stamping is keeping everything picked up, I’ll be desgining one card and have my whole table covered with stuff and i’ll be working on my lap…em
Coloring and paper piecing. I would love to be able to watercolor as well.
My biggest challenge is trying to use and be happy with what I have and not wanting every new set or gizmo I see for stamping! Love your blog! Very nice set you are giving away!
I am bow challenged. I also have a hard time with following templates unless they are drop dead explicit!
I love this light house! My biggest challenge is trying to get the idea in my head to my hands………somewhere along the way the idea gest lost! It is frustrating!
My hardest thing is allowing myself time to stamp and also wanting the next new stamps that come out — even though I have a TON of stamps and supplies. And I have a problem with using new things like the Nesties. I have some but get anxious about using them…although getting a little better at them. I LOVE your blog and your cards. I know you’re missing Alexa…but hope Easter is a joy for you!
My challenge is trying to come up with ideas of my own. WHile there are so many beautiful things to case I am hopeful to create. Also having the time to make all the lovely things I see and to buy all the beautiful stamp sets like this one. Thanks for the possibility.
Eileen
OH I LOVE the sketch! LOVE IT! Your card is gorgeous! I am flourish challenged! LOL I don’t know why, but I never like what I create if I use flourishes of some sort. I think I might use them too much, so it end up looking too busy, I don’t know. Thanks for the chance to win that beautiful set! Have a Happy Easter!
My biggest challenge is when I’m scoring anything. I just can’t get it to come out perfect…Or even close to perfect! I usually have to adapt the original directions to accomadate for my lack of measuring acurately! I would love to win that set!!! Thanks for the blog candy, Lauren, and Happy Easter!
My greatest challenge is keeping my craft room clean!!!
My biggest challenge/problem is breaking my fear and not trusting myself/confidence in trying things and making cards!
I’m always trying to squeeze in time to stamp.
My biggest challenge is embossing, I guess I just have to do it more. I love your blog. ~Julie
Wow Lauren that is a gorgeous set!!! My most difficult challenge is to stamp more than one stamp on the same card,I usually have something crooked on there and I have to start over!! Wish I was an expert like you!!!
Since I am a newbie, my biggest challenge is to determine what I need to purchase…I want it all!
Easter blessings!
My biggest challenge is using the copic markers. I just can’t seem to blend them well like some of the ones on the blogs. I understand the concept, but it just doens’t come out the way it should. My other challenge is that I spend way to much time on the computer looking and not enough time in my craft room making stuff.
I love your blog and I love the challenges. I appreciate all that you share…. if it weren’t for the blogging world of rubber stamping, I wouldn’t have gotten back into stamping and having so much fun.
This is a beautiful stamp set! It is so peaceful and serene. I must admit that I have many challenges, but one of them is making anything other than an A2 sized card. My brain seems to freeze up when I try to do anything else!
Happy Easter to you and your family!
My biggest challenge is that I want to do soooo much and than I can’t come up with anything – nothing – nada- nix….!!! I guess I just stress myself out…, but I’m working on that issue – LOL!!!
Love your blog and the beautiful creations you have made – TFS!!!
My biggest challenge is getting started. I have everything I need but I just need to do it. I have tons of stamps that I just got that I need to cut out but for some reason I’m afraid that I’m going to mess up something!
Thankyou for SIMPLE! I seem to get overwhelemed and think that I need 15 layers of “stuff” to make something beautiful. I admire your work so much, and thankyou for sharing your life with us, it’s a blessing! My greatest challenge is knowing where to BEGIN! Do you start with color, paper, embellishments, stamps etc… Thanks Nancy
My biggest challenge is a layout. I can hem and haw over placement for EVER. It’s a good thing there are so many sketch challenges out there. They make card making so much quicker.
My biggest challenge is watercoloring! I have the crayons, but just don’t like my results. I have tried the aqua painter with them, paint brush, blender pens. Wish I could take a class on this!
This stamp set is BEAUTIFUL!! I love how Christian type stamps are becoming more available!
Awesome set, I will have to say masculine cards are the hardest for me, maybe I just don’t have the right stamps but they are my hardest obstacle.
Love the simplicity of the cards, but I do prefer the colored cardstock and I too have that bird stamp and just love what you have done with it, thanks for the great inspiration!
Good on you for buying a dessert, you are bringing something whether or not it is homemade. Enjoy your weekend, hope things let up for you soon!
Happy Easter! Love to learn from you and see your creations. My biggest challenge is coming up with original ideas and having them look good. Ok, I have 2 big challenges – the other is that I have a heck of a time tying a bow! I want to sit with you and learn from you. I need to move in next door. LOL
Sheri
My most difficult challenge is holding back with the embellishments! Ha! I make a card and then see it in the morning and wonder, What was I thinking with all of that bling?” Then I make another more simpler card, same stamps and paper and like it much better! I still use the first card, though, for fun events and friends who understand my love of glitter!
The stamp set is really nice, btw!
My biggest challenge is always space! I have been papercrafting for 12 years…..12 years! No stamp room yet! The kids are getting older, so pretty soon, one of them may be ready to fly the coop…..but until then, my challenge is space! I mean how do you deal with 12 years of hard core stamp collecting on your kitchen table! Not fun—-but it works for now! Happy stamping!
I don’t do any dry embossing … and really want to do more!
My biggest challenge is putting an idea on paper. I’ll have a vision of what I want it to look like and I can never get it right once I’m actually stamping.
Happy Easter to you!
Beautiful cards as always Lauren 🙂 My challenge is using green! I have green eyes but never wear the colour and find it very difficult to use in my cardmaking. However, have been really making an effort and trying to use it lately with all the Spring and Easter cards!
Hope you have a great Easter!
My biggest challenge is coloring with markers. I LOVE to use my prismas and gamsol, but I am really not that good with markers. thanks for the chance to win a terrific stamp set!! I love it and can’t wait to see what Kelley comes up with next!
The hardest thing for me to come up with is the layout… I can always come up with the image and colors but sometimes putting them together on a card is just so hard..
You asked if we had any habits, Mine is using all the colors everyone else likes that I make cards for. And my favorite is blue. Good post today and I love the cards. Also the store is called Memories in bloom, (papertrey) we may go on the way back.
Amy
I am altered-item challenged. I see such great stuff and I go to do the same thing and it ends up looking messy and dull. I don’t know what my problem is!
Fabulous stamp set – I love it!
I LOVE that set! Plan on ordering it as soon as we move! Love your bird with copper foil and primas! Looks so elegant!
Challenge? oh, groan, it’s TWO things —
1) not constantly spending to buy new things that intrigue me (so I can CASE a gazillion wonderful cards from blogs like YOURS :-)) and then never really getting to making all those gazillion samples I adored
and
2) design. Techniqes I can handle, and color…. bit design only works when I copy or –just sometimes — when I really know what I want to do and have some indication it will work. But I don’t know design rules! So I case away…”
Love your samples — they are such an inspiration!
I really, really want this stamp set so winning it would be terrific! My biggest challenge is liking what I do after it’s finished. I’ll have an idea in mind, and then when I make it, it never looks like I envisioned it. Maybe I should stick with the really simple layouts and designs and not try to fancy things up so much. I love your two examples for today.
I love the lighthouse set and the cards you made with it. I need more inspirational stamps. The hardest thing for me right now is making a scallop card where the scallops hold the card together. I saw this on a blog and now I can’t remember where or how I got to that blog. I am going to buy the nestabilities to do it, but I thought I could do it with my corner rounder punch. I am not successful as of yet, but I will not give up. It has been done, so I know it’s possible. I know you will get a ton of comments, but if you read this…maybe you or someone else can help.
Thanks for reading…
oh if I could only cut paper exactually right!!!!I get so frustrated with my self. Not to mention how much paper I waste. It also takes me a min of three years to think of a design, that why I come to your blog … to dream…
Whoa! The set of stamps is goegeous! I *love* lighthouses.
Okay my biggest obstacle with paper crafting is I never feel as though I have done enough with what ever project I am making. I love simplicity but I know that not everyone else does. Other then that, I’m good. 🙂 Both of your cards are very pretty and I love that they have no layers. If I have enough time today I will try and get one made. 🙂
Have a blessed Easter tomorrow.
Mary
WOW, Lauren! Simple and stunning! My biggest challenge seems to be boy stuff (go figure – I’ve got three of them:)! I’m just a girly-girl and I like to make those types of things, so I do! But sometimes I have to look for someone to give it to, because besides our guinea pig, I’m the only female in the house, lol!
This may sound crazy but here it goes…..I have a hard time picking out colors! Once I finally come up with something, I’m good to go.
Happy Easter,
Pam
My biggest challenge is starting a project. I know I spend more time organizing and admiring my stuff rather than actually stamping!
My biggest challenge is coming up with an idea. I try so hard to break out and do something different but most of the time my cards usually end up looking the same *sigh*. Have a Happy Easter!
My biggest challenge is using colors to color an image in. Choosing the colors isn’t the issue-I can choose colors from my cardstock, background, or dsp that I am using, but actually adding them to the images I am coloring and making everything look natural is where I usually run into trouble.
I would say designing is hardest for me. I am a wonderful CASer though!!
I love the stamp set! Anyway, I have 2 challenges that are equally frustrating to me — first of all, I can’t seem to see beyond the sketches — I see them so concretely, and a circle means a circle rather than a flower or a button or something else like that. My other difficulty is picking patterned paper that works with something I’ve stamped. I can’t tell you how often I’ve picked a stamp to go with the paper, then I end up using solid cardstock for my background because the DP looks too busy! As a result, I’m a DP hoarder (I love the designs out there!!) and my cards look blah!! I love your work though — yours looks fresh and uncluttered, not blah at all!! TFS! Jeanne
CONCEPT! I know that a lot of your girls already see the card in your minds eye beofre you even sit down at your craft table – but I can’t seem to do that – I hav to sit down and pull out a few stamps and then some paper and then wonder if I am actually going to get a card outta this!
Love, Love, Love your cards Lauren! I will for sure have to try my hand at this. My biggest difficulty is picking out and using decorative papers. Another reason for me to give this sketch a try – no paper! LOL!
My challenge is that I can never seem to get my layers of CS just right. One side of the border is always bigger; or I just can’t get the main image on perfectly straight.
Your cards are gorgeous and I love to read your blog. Thanks for the chance to win this stamp set. The verse stamps are great.
My biggest challenge is trying to keep up with you, my dear :)) haaa ! I guess I’ll have to admit that my time isn’t managed properly, to allow myself time to get lost in my paper and stamping. Then when I do, I totally lose track of time and vanish into the land of rubber & ink.
Your cards are adorable but esp. the “Cherish” flower one ~ that is smok’in Lauren!!!!
**Also glad to read that Alexa is doing well** :0)
Oh Lauren, where do I start…
but I guess I would have to say that shading is SO difficult for me. I watch what you and others do with those copic markers-which I would love to have (or other avenues of shading) and I am baffled.
I can see it, I just cannot make my hands do it. 🙁
#2-would be color palette. I see you put together certain colors, and I am amazed. Never thinking about certain colors being together.
I love those those cards! I have trouble using my pp. I keep buying it, and I try to get some pp on my cards but most of them are just solid colors. I put ribbons, flowers, button and such just fine but when it comes to using patteren paper I have a hard time.
Jannette D.
What a lovely set! First let me say Happy Holiday! I see so many saying that coloring is the hardest thing for them. I think I just licked this problem. Cheap colored pencils (not watercolor), blending stubs and odorless mineral spirits. It leaves a soft blended look. My biggest challenge is figuring out what color to stamp the original image. How do you know when to use something other than black?
my biggest challenge is incorporating ribbon. I see some beautiful work done with ribbon, I get all excited because I have a ton of it, then, I put ribbon on my cards and it looks blahhhhhh!
First of all HAPPY EASTER.. I LOVE the set your giving away, it is so inspirational. I would have to say that my greatest challenge (at the moment) would be to limit the time that I set looking at blogs. I start out looking at one then there is this link to another and another…and there went all my stamping time. I get so involved in them between all the wonderful ideas, techniques and interesting lives that time just flies by. Your great, looking forward to the next post…hmm think I’m blog addicted….BUT ITS ALL GOOD.
The hardest thing? Probably trying to “get” all the stuff that I want! There are loads of new stuff, like the wonderful nestabilities and copic markers and new stamps (I want them all)! I do feel a little guilty when I spend a bunch of moolah, so my want list is pretty long. I just love it all!!!!!
My biggest challenge is remembering all the stuff that I have so that I can actually “use” it — I buy it b/c I have a great idea….then it gets put away and I forget about it!
Tell Kelly thanks for the chance to win this awesome set!
My biggest challenge is finding the time and “allowing myself” time to play. But once I am there, I guess waht I would like to improve on is my colouring. I played the other day, and all I did was colour… I used the beautifull potted flowers from the new SU set Bloomin beautiful, and I used different ways to practice. I think I am definitely improving. That lighthouse looks like a good thing to practice on ! (~wink, wink~)
Diane
P.S Hoppy Easter!
I SO needed this sketch today, Lauren! Thanks so much. . .I really needed NOT to overthink! http://oodabugalley.blogspot.com/2008/03/fairytale.html
Wow! Thanks for the chance. I have difficulty with watercoloring using my SU crayons. I just haven’t got it yet!
I really like your Easter baskets, the scalloped edge is so pretty!
Beautiful cards today. My biggest challenge is using the all in a row stamps
to put the faux stitiching on it. I just can’t seem to get it between the cardstock
and the designer paper. I don’t sew, nor would I ever. Maybe somebody has
clear stamps with the zigzag pattern, so I can see where I’m stamping. Love your
blog.. Barb
THis set is very inspiring….can’t wait to see what’s coming next! Thanks for the chance!
Thanks for your website, Lauren, I enjoy all of the cards, tips and techniques. I also appreciate the fact that you use stamps from many companies~~keeps it interesting!
Hi Lauren
My biggest problem is always getting started. I pull out the stamp set, then I get a mind block – colors to use, layout, all of it. Sometimes I go to blogs (especially yours) or SCS just for a layout plan or color scheme. Then I sit down and try to put it all together. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don’t. What makes you be able to sit down and just do it? All your cards are so beautiful and creative.
Hugs to you and Happy Easter to you and yours:)
Oh yeah, thanks for the chance at Blog candy – maybe I will win this time.
my biggest challenge is probably just getting organized … I still have stamp stuff in Tupperware bins and lug everything out to a desk in the living room or kitchen to stamp. I’d picked up some items to create a little work space in a corner of my bedroom but so far haven’t been motivated enough to get my act together!
sometimes, stamp-wise, I just freeze … WANT to stamp but can’t seem to unglue myself to start on a card. other days, things just breeze by! go figure!
later, alligator!

Happy Easter! I hope you have a great holiday! My easter present from the easter bunny is going to Disney on Monday as a belated Christmas present, so if for some reason I somehow win I will get back to you as soon as I can. But it isn’t likely that I will win, so that’s okay too! Anyways, I must say that everything with paper crafting for me has proven to be difficult because I haven’t been doing it that long. I have no friends that do it, so I can’t learn from them. I try to learn a lot from SCS. The most difficult part is the money. I don’t have a job. I stay at home with our DD. My boyfriend works, and he doesn’t make a lot, so other things come first. I am trying to get a job though!! Well, again, Happy Easter to you and your family.
Beautiful simplistic cards Lauren! My biggest challenge is overthinking my projects. I tend to want to have a plan before starting. I need to just sit down, relax and start stamping and letting my creativity flow! Sometimes “overthinking” a project or “overplanning” stifles me! I end up sitting there and not accomplishing anything! Why? Because I am too busy thinking about what to do! Like the old Nike commercials, “Just Do It!” That should be my cardmaking motto!
I don’t have the Prismacolors yet so I use my daughter’s when we are with her and I have a tough time trying to figure out how to blend the color out into the middle of the sketch so that it looks authentic!
http://stampinwithanita.com/
My challenge is to get a straight cut the first time, layers are a challenge at times; once the layer is attached a little crooked, I can’t let it go. Wish one of the many die cut companies would produce a set specifically for A2 card fronts for layering!…..
Shirley
I find the hardest thing is making masculine items (be it cards, altered items or scrap pages) that are not too ‘little boy’ and not so sport specific…
I love this set! My biggest challenge is color combos! For this reason I love the SCS color challenge and I love seeing how you put patterned papers together with stamps! Mary
Since I’ve just started stamping, my biggest challenge right now is STOP buying :-> It is just so much fun, and when I see a new stamp or tool, I think – “I can do that” and off I go… I need to learn to work with what I’ve got and be more creative. That’s why I thank you Lauren, for such a great blog…. the techniques and ideas you share with us make my shopping all worth while! Here, here to the addiction !
Hi Lauren,
My biggest challenge is color combinations. I don’t tend to step out of the box. I go around and around on which paper and or ink combinations I should use. I cut my paper and think that looks like poop!!!!!I’m glad SU has paper and ink that matches, it helps!!!!!!!!!! I also try the SCS color challenges. I hope you, your DH, the kids & Daisy have a Happy Easter. I bought dessert to bring to the out laws, I mean in laws also. :]
P.S. Last Target trip $368.72 Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!
The hardest thing for me is to keep the animals off my stamping area while trying to stamp. They all want to be there right with me. My area is in the front of a window and they love the sunshine that it bring. Oh well…..Things could be worse.
My challenge is that I send out five cards weekly. two to gentlemen, two to grandchildre and one to some long time friends. I make them all the same, but finding something different each week is becoming a task. But you give me inspiration with some great ideas. ie use an old litte used set, keep it simple, layer lightly. Thanks so much for your tips, and all that you share. MaryAnn
Happy Easter! I love your cards today! My challenge is coordination — a big part of it is I don’t know what colors should go together and about “tones” or “values” so I am afraid of putting colors together. I should take more risks and just play… Thanks for the chance!
Making sure my layers are straight, and all the same size…it is difficult to tie a bow since I am left handed, but tutorials have helped…I want to learn more, but life is short……..Susie
Such a neat stamp set. Thanks for the chance to win.
I have several challenges….making the time to stamp, cutting straight , and coloring/shading to name a few.
I need to come up with some new card layouts. I seem to gravitate to the same couple of designs and make them over and over. I would say that is my bggest challenge and something that I need to learn. Thanks for the chance to win! I love your blog Lauren – I am here reading every day. ;0)
My most difficult thing to do in my card making is mixing patterns in background papers like plaids and say stripes or florals. I find a color wheel is invaluable in picking out colors also. Ah yes, the cat hair at this time of year is awful too. I need a stamp that says “these fine lines on this card were contributed by the cats”. Thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful stamp set.
-*Linda*-
My biggest stamping challenge is ALWAYS coming up with masculine cards!!! I think this set could really help me solve that problem!!! I hope you have a wonderful Easter!! Oh and good for you for giving yourself permission to buy your desert 🙂 I may have to follow your lead next holiday as my chocolate flour- less cake for this Easter is now finished. Who couldn’t use a little more free time, right?!
Like many others, my biggest challenge is to use up all the stuff I keep buying. Sometimes I think I like the shopping part the most 🙂
The Lighthouse stamp set is really special. I really like the verses that go with it.
Hope you and your family have a Blessed Easter.
Lauren, your blog is the highlight of my day.
I get so many great ideas from you, and your sketches are alwys super.
I keep all your stuff together in a file, and go there whenever I need inspiration-WHICH IS ALWAYS!
Believe it or not, my biggest challenge is getting enough CS cut and folded, so that I can buckle down and get creating. I guess we’d have to call that LAZINESS, right????
I would LOVE to win this set, as most of my cards go to my church family, and I love to find new scripture stamps.
These would be wonderful for men as well as my lady friends.
Thanks for sharing so much of yourself with us.
Love, in crafting,
LouAnne
Oooh, I want that set!
My most difficult task is trying to keep track of the stuff I have!
Mybiggest challenge in paper crafting is pulling myself away from all the fabulous stuff I see on all these blogs to sit down and MAKE something!
I love this stamp set. These are some of my “go to” verses that bring me comfort.
Lisa
Hi Lauren,
I’m wondering how to pick papers for projects. I love your blog. Thanks so Much!
Too many challenges! I gotta get my craft room in order so I can use it. Meanwhile I have my supplies all over the house and that does not help to find everything. Then, once I have an idea – to carry it out. I usually don’t have everything I want to use either and that doesn’t help. But, one problem I do seem to have is – making them look more professional and not so home made. Either it the paper is cut just a bit off or something. But, I have fun learning and love all your ideas for inspiration. Thanks again.
My biggest challenge by far is keeping it simple. Creating the wow factor in just one or two layers. Thankfully, you are a master at this and share your creations so freely! Thanks for the chance to win – I just LOVE the words in this set. Happy Easter!
I guess the hardest thing for me is doing sketches. I know. . .sounds crazy. I always seem to do the same type of layout. I have sketches printed out. . .I just need to keep the book by me and challenge myself once in a while. Hmmmmm. . .maybe tomorrow! 🙂
Happy Easter! Love this stamp set and thanks for the chance to win it!
Lauren, I love your website. I can’t wait to get home each night and check to see what your updates have been for the day. I also, love how you include your family in everything. You seem like such a strong and dedicated woman, which I have grown so much respect for. Keep the crafty vibes coming!!!
What I find difficult is matching my designer paper with my stamp sets. I love them both separately, but can’t seem to get them together some times.
Happy Stamping!!
I think the mst difficult thing in papercrafting is finding the time. Everytime I sit down and create something, I enjoy it, I feel good bout it (of course I’m not as talented as you and many other ladies out there) but I enjoy it. I just don’t get to do it enough. And I know exactly how you feel with another thing being added to your “to do” list. I too am trying to learn to let go of things and focus on what’s really important. The people I love and care about. Not so much that my house is clean, etc (OCD!!!) You have a niceEaster too!
Getting mats even, I HATE when they are uneven!! TFS.
I have trouble matching printed papers. I see so many pretty matches that I just don’t come up with on my own. Thanks for a chance to win that beautiful set. I love your site. I also wonder how in the world you get so many ideas with your life so full!
My biggest difficulty is with the template and where to place things to give it a finished look. Lauren that is one of the reasons why I visit your blog several times a day. LOVE IT!!!
My biggest challenge is getting everything straight and neat! Happy Easter and thanks for sharing with us!
I love love love this stamp set, i am planning on ordering it unless I win it lol
My biggest challenge is matching colors,i cant do it very well, Thank goodness my daughter is good at it or I would be in trouble. Thanks for the chance to win!
What a beautiful set!!! Right now my biggest challenge is to find the time to stamp (I manage an income tax preparation office and also prepare returns so this time of the year I am swamped!)
Laurie, what a beautiful set. I love the bird set, too and just bought it today…along with a couple of others, I knew I had no business going in that JoAnn’s store, lol. My biggest challenge is watercoloring. I love it, but am having a hard time getting the shading right, the same with coloring with markers, getting the colors blended is a challenge for me, too. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful giveaway … thanks for the chance … my biggest challenge is trying to stay original and innovative.
My most difficult thing in papercrafting is making a perfect shape when cutting.
This is a beautiful stamp set
My biggest challenge is to get things totally straight. I’m getting better but not quite there yet. I also try to hard to make each card a WOW card. I love this stamp set!
Oh my, Lauren — I love this post and all of the comments, too. What a wonderful set — can’t say how much I would LOVE to win THAT! Oh, and how many times have I gone and wanted that Stampendous ruffled bloom… Just can’t afford to spend that much on one stamp ;^)* Hehehe — some day, if you EVER decide to sell it, come find me!
Anyway, getting TIME is the absolute hardest part — then finding the right space to work… that is very difficult for me right now… the rest flows pretty well when I get the above two in sync, thank God!
Happy Easter to you and to all your readers.
Blessings…
Julie
Lauren how awsome and what an inspiration you are, the stamps to give away well lets say if I won them the ladies at church would love that I use them in some cards they asked me for to make and scripture verses are not much what I have. Limited budget keeps me saving for such luxurys. I must say good luck to everyone and congratulations to whom every is the lucky person.
HAPPY EASTER AS WELL
Lynn
My biggest challenge is actually getting any crafting done at all! I read about all these cool techniques, buy the tools necessary to try them…and then there it all sits because I have no time to do them. Love the simplicity of these couple cards, Lauren…you rock!
My biggest challenge is coloring images in. I can never get them looking the way I want.
Holy cow I’m not THAT late coming here today and there is a 124 people in front of me…haha….then I realized….ahhhhhhhh a give away….
You know I come for the eye candy….and the sketch! Those stamps are lovely though! I’m enjoying making cards with scripture on them. I have quite a few friends I like to give them to.
This sketch looks to be a challenge for me….well maybe not so much now that I have Copics to colour with….we’ll see….maybe I should do versamark and pastels? hmmmm that’s an idea….
Ok I’m off to the grocery store too….need some dessert for tomorrow and I NEVER make mine….hahaha! Girl you are too much!
Have a HAPPY Easter!
My challenge is making circles. I have a number of templates, and the Fiskers tool, but I always make mistakes, the blade runs away from me. Also when I use a craft knife and a metal edged ruler, I always seem to veer away from the straight edge!
I think my biggest struggle is not having enough space, I’m trying to make do with what I have (about 1/2 a formal living area) and not complain. I guess it’s more than some people have. So organization. I feel claustrophobic as a result sometimes because everything is in dissaray. Love your sketch!
My challenge is working with the bold brights collection from Stampin’ Up! I have such issues with lots of bright colors…..I much prefer the Earth Elements! Thanks for the chance and for the challenge! {SMILES}
Lauren,
Hope you are feeling better today! Happy Easter to you and you family! Hope you all have a Blessed Holiday!! Love your cards – always do!! Please put me in for a chance at the stamp set. Thanks for turning us on to another site!!
Here’s my second entry because I did the sketch! love the simple, it wasn’t that hard to do, and I love how my card turned out. Thanks for the inspiration – I’ve wanted to try your sketches for a while now and glad I finally did!
http://stampamaniac.blogspot.com/2008/03/have-fairy-nice-day.html
I am quite craft-challenged in general. LOL My biggest challenge is coloring…with anything. I can’t get markers to look good and I’m not even so great with the colored pencils and watercoloring.
My biggest challenge? Seriously, it’s finding the TIME to play! It’s so hard with an 1.5 yr old and 4 yr old…I honestly don’t know how you do it with THREE kids & everything else that you do as well!!
I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to win this set — I LOVE it! =)
My biggest challenge is choosing colors. I can sometimes look forever to find the right colors and still not know what I want to do. Sometimes I just give up! I would love to win this set though – it is SO beautiful. Thanks for the chance.
I love your cards and the sketch. I’ve tried to make one layer cards lately. It’s been really easy using Papertry’s Shapes by Design set. My biggest card making challenge is coloring. I stink at it. I just do not have an artistic touch when coloring. It looks like my kindergartener did it. I’ll keep practicing.
Here’s my sketch: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/857805?cat=500&ppuser=2910
Hi! Cute cards! I really like the clean look of one layer cards, but rarely actually do it! I love your sketch today!
I’d say my biggest challenge is coming up with “unique” layouts. I like it when all my cards look different, but every time I sit down to stamp, I usually end up with some element of the card stretching all the way across…like tying the ribbon around the whole card, or the patterned paper going all the way to the edges – it didn’t use to bug me, but I want to get out of my creative “box” you know?
Hi Lauren,
Your cards are beautiful once again. I must say that if I did something this simple I would think I was not giving my all to the person receiving the card. When I started stamping I always used only one layer, but after reading so may blogs and seeing so many cards I feel now that I have to do layers. Yours are so elegent this way though – maybe I just don’t have the right stamps to do it justice. I also take a very long time to make a card as I want everything perfect – yours must be a lot quicker to make!?
I have a question about stickles. I bought some the other day – they are SO pretty. Do you put them on thick like they come out of the bottle? Or do you flatten them out with a paint brush so they dry quicker? I am not sure how to use them.
Good luck to everyone trying to win the stamp set – it is perfect for so many reasons.
Have a Blessed Easter, Lauren, and many thanks for all I have learned from you.
Glad to hear Alexa is doing well. What a little trooper 🙂 As for the purchased dessert – don’t feel guilty at all. You need to keep your sanity and that is more important than a home made dessert. There will be other years you can do that 🙂
Thanks for the chance at the prize. You get so many hits, I know I won’t win, but it is fun to at least say I tried 🙂 Love the scripture stamps and wish I had some! May be my lucky day…. 🙂
As for my technique issue, you’re going to laugh but my one creative gene just can’t wrap itself around DP. I have a hard time using it. Maybe it is because it adds so much pop to the card that I’m not used to it. Who knows, but I have a heck of a time with the stuff. Can manage to use just one sometimes, but if I have to mix two the men in the white coats come to take me away to a padded room. Know how to pull colours off the paper to get it to work, but then getting an image to fit the pattern of the paper is another issue in itself. Lame, I know, but that is my challenge. Now ask me to do or play most any sport and I can definitely help you out with that!! 🙂
You might think this is crazy but my biggest challenge is trying to use up designer paper. I bought a huge pack -like 200 pages (non-SU) and I have a hard time using them. The patterns are crazy and the colors don’t really match SU very well but I feel like I spent the money and I need to use some of the paper.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Dorothy
Sticking to my original idea and making a bunch all the same. I made 250 Christmas cards and no two were exactly the same – mad or what!
Your cards are lovely, I guess the hardest thing for me is to USE embellishments, I love them and can’t resist buying them, but just never seem to use them. Have a wonderful Easter. This is such a wonderful stamp set, thanks for the opportunity to win it.
Love your cards Lauren! They are so simple & elegant. I need to make some more simple ones. My stamping challenge would be finishing cards that are partly completed. I have a shoebox full of partially finished cards! I either lose my mojo while I’m making the card or find I don’t like what I’ve started…so off it goes! Hope you and you’re family have a spectacular Easter!
Hi There! I love your site! You provide so much inspiration. My problem with paper crafting is to sit down and actually create something. I have all these ideas and samples but don’t seem to take the time to actually do anything. – Judy
I am embellishment challenged! I never know when you use a brad, an eyelet, a button, a prima…the list goes on and on. So many choices! Happy Easter
Becky
This is the first time I have visited your blog. I learned about it from Our Daily Bread Designs and would love to win this set. My biggest challenge is getting special requests for cards. I worry too much. I do much better when I can just play.
Hi! I absolutely love that stampset. I can see dozens of uses for it. And all the ladies from church will want to borrow it. lol
One of the hardest things for me to do is to learn to make cards in sizes other than A2. I”ve been making cards in that size for 10 years and it is reallly hard for me to picture layouts in any other size. I want to try long and skinny cards especially.
Thanks for posting so many wonderful cards and ideas! 🙂
Julie Kostka
Hello Lauren,
Thank you for the chance at winning this wonderful new set. I’m excited to see what the future holds for Our Daily Bread!
My biggest challenge starts with organization. I don’t have a craft room….just my kitchen table and I wish I had an area just for ME. My embellishments/ribbons are in one tote, ink in another, paper in another, etc…..It takes so much time to dig through all those totes!
Another challenge is the layout. Thank God for the sketch challenges! At least I have a starting point with those :o)
And, lastly, (I have many challenges!), I would love my knots and bows to look prettier. I still don’t have the talent to tie a gorgeous bow like you do!
Thanks for your blogs. They’re all truly enjoyable!!!
Elyse
I have the most trouble with layering. When I place my layer on top of my base (1/4″ space around) it never comes out even (97% of the time)! I hate this…any tips you can give about this would be appreciated. Thanks for the chance to win some great stamps…their beautiful!
Wow this is an AWESOME stamp set. I will have to say the hardest thing for me is the coloring issue with anything. The shading is tough for me. I’ve seen great tutorials on this and then go try it and it’s just ok. I will never give up trying, cuz I know someday I will get it. I’m just one of the slow ones. Thanks for a chance at this sweet candy and Happy Easter.
OOHH I so love this stamp set..my biggest problem is getting the time to stamp! I am either too tired ( i have twin 3 year olds) or too busy keeping them from fighting to be able t get in there and do anything! i have to be able to stay up til midnight to get any stamping done and just physically can’t sometimes..I keep saying maybe when they get to school! [email protected]
A Blessed Easter to you and your family. I think this set [ODB] is just beautiful…and I am waiting to see what else Kelley is going to come out with. I think I feel a really big order coming on in the future!
I really have a hard time using up the “goodies” I have purchased. I have promised myself to use up at least a third of what I have sitting in boxes and drawers before I can buy anything new. I can fly through paper, use ink, pastels, WCC, etc. , but using up my ribbon, 2 sided DP, etc is tough. I know I can get through this and I will succeed!

What a wonderful set to have the opportunity to win!! And very generous. I think my biggest challenge is simple cards. I always want to layer and add and embellish and add some more…..sometimes a simple card is a nice change. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to try your sketch!!
Many blessings this Easter to you and yours, Lauren!!
My biggest challenge is juggling work, kids and stamping. I simply wish I had more time to do everything …………………….
I have a hard time coming up with new and creative ways to use my stamps, I get stuck with using them 1 or 2 ways and have trouble seeing beyond that. I am always impressed with the fun and creative cards/art people make with their stamps.
Hello Lauren,
I think my biggest challenge right now is learning how to use, blend and shade with the Copic markers. I have tried coloring a couple of images but have not reached the same look as some of the beautiful ones I’ve seen. But I will keep practicing and plugging away at trying to master that technique.
Diane S.
Lauren, what a generous offer of blog candy! You are so sweet and I love your creations. I think coloring is my biggest challenge. No matter what instrument I’m using. But practice helps and I try to do that whenever I can. Have a happy Easter!
Mary P.
http://www.primitiveseasons.blogspot.com
I did the sketch challenge too – that was so fun- thanks for the inspiration you can find them here:
http://www.theoldfrontporch.com/Invision//index.php?automodule=gallery&req=si&img=1974
Love your simple cards Lauren! Keeping it simple is my challenge but that comes second to finding the time to stamp. That’s my greatest challenge!
The first time I tried it didn’t go through. I would like to learn how to colour with copic markers. My order should be coming soon. Happy Easter. Hope you have awonderful weekend with your family. Thanks for the chance to win these beautiful stamps.
What a great sketch and blog candy too! WOW! I found you at Charmaine’s site and I’m so happy I did. 🙂

I would love to win these stamps! They rock! My challenge is to not “over-think” things. This art should be fun. Another one is blending colors. Have a blessed Easter!
Happy Easter! Thanks for an opportunity to win some great stamps. I struggle with deciding when a card is done. Did I add to much or not enough…
My struggle is just finding the time to make cards- how do others find time! I love this set!
The stamp set is wonderful; thanks for the chance to win. I find it difficult to make cards for the men in my life, I seem to draw a blank whenever I try to come up with something for them. jmniffer
My biggest challenge is finding time, but other than that I would say trying new layouts other than my tireed and true, I can really struggle when trying somethingI haven’t done before. Can you beleive I have NO lighthouse stamps???
Ooooh. I love this set. My biggest challenge is being satisfied with my simpler cards. I just have trouble saying enough is enough! I love your blog. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
My biggest challenge is just making myself make a card withtout over thinking it…like…I’ll pick some patterned paper then pick card stock and stamps…then I’ll think…no…that doesn’t match or look good…so I do that for a half hour and get nothing accomplished! I guess I just need to do it and not think about it…if it turns out like yuck…I can just start over! At least then I would have created something 🙂
Charmaine
I too love that stamp set! And, your blog is very inspiring. My biggest challenge is colour coordination. Everyone seems to be able to chose cardstock that matches; I take forever, and then sometimes I’m not happy with it. Happy Easter. God bless. Linda
This is an awesome stamp set!!! A great and marvelous message to proclaim and encourage!!
My greatest challenge in putting together a card is the choosing of ‘ingredients’. I spend tons of time looking through everything and wanting to incorporate all of my stuff and end up getting very little done… 🙂
Sorry, I couldn’t post this morning before work….it would be a great set to get!!! 🙂
Hope you have a great Easter weekend…and when you buy instead of make it….yeah the guilt will get to you if you’re like me! I’m actually making dinner – tacos, homemade salsa, and dessert doesn’t even go with it – orange and chocolate cheesecake! YUM!!! So a little non traditional here this year, but no extra family to celebrate with.
Okay so the thing I find difficult is when I “HAVE” to make something for somebody…I like to just create and go with my mood…when I have an expectation to fill…it seems hard to get the creative mojo going. It always works out, but never as much fun!
We now have a Target here in our small town!!!! So…sidewalk chalk back in the summer toys section is 4.99 for 52 pieces. Up in the crayon/kid art aisle it’s 2.99 for 52 pieces….yeah whatever…it says roseart instead of a summer flower! Can’t wait for it to get shopped so we get some clearance items!!!! I’ve been soooo missing Target clearance!
HAPPY EASTER!
My biggest challenge is coloring. Coloring with *anything*. Need help there. LOVE this stampset. . .thanks for the chance to win. Might even try your sketch before Monday 🙂
Oh, Lauren, these cards are both fabulous. So elegant and simple. I would love to own this stamp set. A major challenge for me is using dp on cards — huge struggle with that.
my biggest challenge is altering something 3 dimensional. you make everythign seem so easy….me not so much! lol!
ooooohhhh…….how i woudl love to win this my time mail! i have neem admiring what has been done with this set!
happy easter lauren!
regina
Thank you for a wonderful sketch and challenge. It was nice to keep it simple. It’s so quick and easy that way. Here’s my card I made for your sketch: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/858027?cat=500&ppuser=144758
My biggest challenge is finding the time to create, and not feeling guilty for taking it. I just love this stamp set!
My biggest challenge has always been color combinations, andlayouts, and knowing when to say when. Right now though, using my Copics is a tough one. I need a system for choosing colors and blending.
My biggest challange is design…trying to bring it all together…the more I do, the better it is, but it is still a challange for me. I end up casing a card if I cannot get the design together.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this wonderful set..I have been eyeballing it.
Hope I win!
Hugs, Dee in Oklahoma
My biggest challenge would be the layout of something, I have no idea where to put anything myself!!!!
Thanks for the chance.
Glad Alexa is doing good.
My challenge is cutting stright..No matter how hard I try I can’t ever cut stright
My hardest stamping challenge is keeping it balanced with the rest of my life. I could easily choose stamping over almost anything else and I have to discipline myself to keep my priorities straight – my relationship with God and my husband and boys come first. I love this stamp set and the new Our Daily Bread site with a Christian focus. Stamping is one way to share my faith and encourage others!
My biggest challenge is just getting started! I sit and look at my paper and stamps and inks and just stare at them like they are going to get up and dance or something. 🙂
Love your website – very inspirational.
My biggest challenge is finding the time/dedication to work on projects. Did I mention I have a newborn? 🙂
I’m proud of you, Lauren! Learning what to let go and what to keep — examples: buying a fancy dessert instead of making and using a gorgeous one-layer card instead of umteen.
My challenges are too many: first is nestabilities — I bought a set and have yet to try them. Aye, I know there are many tutorials on-line. Second is keeping my work area clear — I pile things on top of things on top. Third is “oh where did it go?” – eh, that ties in well with the second challenge.
The hardest thing for me is picking colors/patterns that go well together. That’s why I end up caseing so many cards. What a wonderful stamp set! Thanks for the oportunity to try and win it. Happy Easter!
Jen
My biggest challenge is not trying things because I might not do it ‘right’. I need to let go and “play” more with my stamps and such and be open to whatever develops.
-Mary
my biggest challenge is remembering everything I own and not double-buying something. a lot of times I’ll buy a stamp set and then when I put it away, discover an old set I could have used instead. I’m also toying with the bohemian, shabby style – just trying something new that it outside of my comfort zone – I see so many cards in that style and want to do it myself.
Have a great Easter!!!
Love your cards and really love
the fact that we can purchase
really great stamps that include
scripture so that we can witness
for our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ….Keep those stamps
coming!
My biggest challenge is finishing a project! It’s fun to get started, but then I get bored with it and want to move onto the next idea. I have SO many ALMOST finished projects that I need to add on to my house just to store them all for the day I will feel inspired to finish them!
–Tammy D.
oh my! I LOVE that set!
My stamping challenge is to use more techniques. I only have about 1-2 hours to stamp, so I don’t want to waste it trying something that may not work out. I also don’t want to waste it cleaning up areas that are not directly involved in my stamping desk. So the floor around me is a little messy right now. lol
Thanks for your inspirations and for sharing.
Happy Easter
The hardest thing for me is coming up with a unique design!!! Sometimes ideas just flow and other times I definitely suffer from “stamper’s block”! I gain insight from various blogs, Stampin’ and Scrappin’ magazines, SU! templates, etc. I LOVE the set you are offering! With God all things are possible ~ even new creative designs!!
My biggest challenge is finding time to just sit down and create without a specific goal in mind. Just to have fun playing and see what happens. I miss that.
Hi Lauren! Love your blog!
My biggest challenge is trying to match colors. Just to make one card I have to look at a dozen cards for inspiration!
Thanks for the opportunity at free stamps!
Brenda L.
I did your sketch!! I love this simple stuff, so I already want to do it again! Here is the link:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/858140?cat=500&ppuser=3639
Hi Lauren!
My biggest challenge is deciding what to work on because there are so many things I want to do and my time is limited. I make the time but can’t decide which project to dive into. I’d say my 2nd biggest challenge is when I’m actually working on something to get things in a straight line if they’re supposed to be lined up, LOL. I’ve always had that problem!
Happy Easter!
Cynde Clarke
Hi Lauren!
My biggest difficulties have been with spectrum pads. I have tried many times to make something that turns out half way decent but I have never been successful with them. It all ends up trashed!
I am also very color challenged when trying to put together anything totally original. I use the color wheel and I have certain colors I tend to use together rather often, but picking colors “out of the blue” so to speak, is a real challenge for me. I think that’s what I “CASE” most often- other stamper’s color combinations. Thanks for all the wonderful color combos you have inspired me to use!
Outside of getting time to go create which is always a struggle, I am challenged with dimensions. Mine always seem to be off, but I will admit that thankfully, they are getting a bit better. 🙂
Thank YOU for your wonderful inspiring creations!
I would have to say that my biggest issue right now with paper crafting is going back and forth between cards and scrapbooking.
Hey Lauren,
It’s me again :). Here is my version of your sketch. Thanks again!
http://katiespaperhaven.blogspot.com/2008/03/happy-easter.html
I think my biggest challenge is layout and color. I have things in mind but getting started with the layout and what colors will achieve the look I have in mind, don’t always look right together. That’s why I enjoy looking at the different ideas out there and especially your blog with all the beautiful things you create. I am often in awe of your work. Thanks for sharing & Happy Easter!!
Happy easter Lauren and family!
My biggest challenge is the overload of ideas I face, especially with all the fantastic blogs and creativity that’s around. I start buzzing and find that tunneling them into a simple one card gets confusing as I want to include three or four techniques.
Thanks for the chance to win and have a wonderful weekend! Great sketch will try a little l8r.
My biggest challenge is making the time to do it. Since I work outside the home, whenever I have the time all I want to do is veg. Thanks for your blog and for all you share.
My biggest challenge right now is learning how to blend with my new Copic markers but hopefully not for long. My DD sent me a wonderful tutorial she created for me in my Easter basket!
Love your blog Lauren and thanks so much for a chance to win this wonderful set. I love collecting lighthouse stamps and this one is a beauty!
Nettie
My biggest challenge is colors. I spend a long time deciding what colors to use for the image, card base, layers, ribbons, everything. LOL..
I tried the sketch! = )
http://www.jannicrafts.blogspot.com/
Thanks for the chance to win. My toughest challenge is to keep tidy enough to have room on the desk to stamp. Now mind you, my desk is actually a door on two filing cabinets, so you’d think that would be a big enough area already…
Pax et bonum,
Carol
The most difficult part of cardmaking is probably layout. I love the SCS sketch challenges, as well as those I find on blogs. It’s nice to have a “jumping off” point, especially since I don’t stamp until after the kids are in bed — around 8 or 8:30 — and my mojo isn’t always there 😉
Have a great Easter!
I struggle with my cropic markers. Need to use them more often!
Thank you for all you do!!
Beautiful cards! Gives me a great idea for a sympathy card, I think! My biggest challenge is staying cleaned up. I make a mess and then leave my space so it’s always messy.
I’m heading out to church but I really think I’ll have a chance to stamp later today… And that Mytime Mail set is awesome!!! Hugs…
I have the hardest time with coloring. It really intimidates me for some reason and so far I’ve not been able to overcome that intimidation, despite all the wonderful tutorials I’ve watched! I love your blog and am amazed at how much you can handle on your plate!! Your generous spirit is so evident and your talent is amazing–I learn a lot from you–thank you for sharing your gift!!
First I want to say how much I love your blog. I’ve learned alot from you. The biggest challenge I have is what colors to use. I’ll have an idea in mind but not sure about colors sometimes it takes me a couple of hours to make one card.
Happy Easter Lauren! Hope you and your family have a wonderful day!
My biggest stamping challenge is confidence in myself. Layouts are always difficult for me so sketch challenges are helping me tremendously!
Thanks for the sketch Lauren, perfect basis for a simple sympathy card for a friend — http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/858238?cat=7208
Happy Easter and thanks for blogging.
Happy Easter Lauren! Thanks for the sketch and the candy! I think the hardest thing for me is just finding the time to be creative. An ongoing struggle that hopefully, one day, I will get a handle on. Love your blog and all your cards are so wonderful1 Thanks for sharing your art and your life with us. ~chris
Love you blog Lauren. My problem is copic markers. I love them but don’t seem to be able to blend them very well. I’ll just have to practice a lot!! Andrea
These cards a lovely – keeping it simple really does work. I guess that’s one of my biggest problems – knowing when to stop, and leave the card alone.
Thanks!

Oh, anything with ovals.. I just cant make them fit in to a page. Even given a sketch, just cant seem to do it.. LOL

My biggest challenge is trying to find the sandwich for using my nestabilities with my wizard—-the machine that nestabilities was made for. When I’ve called Spellbinders, they have no one to talk to that can help and refer me to blogs! Oh, well, I’m sure some smart person reading this might be able to help. I’d LOVE to win this beautiful stamp set. Happy Easter Season. Peggy
[…] we begin don’t miss your chance to enter the MYTIME MAIL—>HERE<—!! I will now draw the winner […]
I just found your blog after reading Oodabug Alley’s entry. She had a link to your sketch today. Finally, someone with the same philosophy as me! I am trying to go simpler in my cards. I want to get back to the reason I started paper crafting – stamping! My time is limited since I work full-time and I need simple sketches that won’t take me several hours to make. Thanks for going back to simple. I have now subscribed to your blog.
My challenge is getting my craft room in order so I can create something! I am going step by step and getting it done! Thanks…
Lauren, Having left a comment earlier I now think my biggest challenge should have been reading instructions.
This is my second card
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/858316?cat=500&ppuser=132530
The first one doesn’t follow the rules but here it is http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/858315&cat=500&ppuser=132530!
Ahhh…. my biggest challenge is reminding myself that I don’t need it *all* just because I’ve seen it somewhere. My second challenge is just finding time to play.
Love the simple cards – absolutely gorgeous. I love this set too. Such comforting sentiments.
Big hugs,
Renee
I wondered where that set came from! I hope I win!
Lauren – Gorgeous cards! Love that layout. So, what’s my hardest part – coming up with a layout. I try and use the sketch challenges, but coming up with something that is my own, is very hard to do. Happy Easter!
My biggest challenge is making the time to sit and create. We are getting ready for a cross-country move in 3 months, so I have a lot of things going on. But I need to take the time to do something for ME!!! I love these stamps! That lighthouse is just beautiful!! Happy Easter!
My challenge right now is time! With Emily going through Chemo and the trips to NY for surgery or procedures, time is extremely limited now!
Happy Easter to you and may Alexa come back home soon! 🙂
I need some Mytime Mail, Lauren! Show your girlfriend some love and pick me!! My most difficult challenge for paper crafting: I like to do everything in one fell swoop and not be interrupted, but when you’ve got a family that’s really, really hard. So I feel torn a lot of the time. I’m also really disorganized, so my first half-hour or so is spent cleaning up my area so that I can find what I need. I wish I was more organized like I know you are! Then my time would be extra productive. I need to work on that!!
My challenge is using what I’ve got for cardmaking instead of hoarding it all! I buy everything when I see it so I will have just the perfect embellishment, paper, ribbon etc., but then I don’t want to use any of it. I know hoarding goes with the territory but it drives me nuts. I’m trying to use some stuff with the philosophy that if I use it all up I can always buy more!
Love that set! My most challenging thing is finding the time to put ideas to paper. I have 5 (almost 6) children ages 6 and under that pretty much take up my time. I am planning a few sketch books so I can jot my ideas down and use later…. now to find the time to make those LOL.
I would love to win that stamp set. I have a hard time using patterned paper on cards. It takes me forever to choose and then even longer to decide what to use as embellishments with the paper! It turns out well in the end, but I am not that confident when I start out.
I love the Our Daily Bread stamps and found out about them from this site. I LOVE the bird card – I LOVE birds in real life too!
My toughest challenge is the “getting down to it” stage. I go through pages of magazines and idea books and write down the sketches I like and then take FOREVER selecting the image I would like and then another FOREVER picking the colors. I think I need a more direct approach – like a committment step or something to actually “getting it done!”
The most difficult thing for me is knowing when to stop. I fear going into my craft room sometimes because once I start, it’s hours until I stop and I’ve only created 1 or 2 cards! I would love to be more simple in my crafts. I guess the more I do it the easier things will come and flow. I often wonder how you have the time to make your beautiful cards practically daily! That would be nice to be in the “zone” all the time so you can just whip them out.
Hi! I am new to your site. I just found it this week and am very excited about it! Your work is amazing! My biggest challenge is to actually get myself up to my stamping room and get everything out. Once I have cleaned up the room, it is just so hard for me to mess it all up again! I need to get over that because I just love stamping too much!!
Okay…I guess I am number 236…and I know you are here reading this Lauren….LOL…My biggest challenge is to STOP BUYING STAMPING STUFF!!! I just seem to think I have got to have it all. And I really am blessed that I have been able to buy what I have. However, there always seems to be that one more thing that I JUST HAVE TO HAVE. Hope you and yours had a Happy Easter if you celebrated it. We had an absolute blast today! I want to think it is because it was at MY house 🙂
My biggest challenge may be “keeping it simple”!! I LOVE the clean classy look but tend to feel like more is more, so I am excited to use this sketch as my very FIRST challenge. I’ll post a link to my corner sketch when I finish not trying to over think it :o)
OMG! This blog candy is heaven! I love the lighthouse and the verses. Thanks for the chance to win.
My most difficult thing is getting an idea. Once I do I can run with it. That is why I love all these blogs they give me such great ideas and inspiration.

Hi Lauren
I’ve only just got the stamping bug.
My problem is what ink to use all the time, for watercolouring for example!
I seem to get it wrong all the time and the ink bleeds! Help lol xxx
gorgeous projects as per usual and thank you so much for sharing them with us.
Have a wonderful Easter xxx
Here is a link to my card using your above challenge:
http://moosisk.blogspot.com/
I actually added a few touches later because it was too plain.
My biggest challenge is my indecision about matching colors and were to place things on the card. There are so many wonderful layouts that can be done for each card. I could probably make 3 cards each time I make one, just moving everything around into different positions. I usually do the stamped images first then take so much time deciding on the background colors and paper. Maybe I am working backwords?
These are cute stamps! My biggest challenge right now is my watercoloring. I am a beginner and I love the look but I’m generally disappointed with my finished results. I know that practice would help but it’s hard to not want instant gratification. Okay…I’ll just practice some more! Thanks for offering lots of inspiration with your amazing projects!
My biggest challenge is having the money to have all the neat things that I keep seeing you create with. I have just started collecting punches and so I am excited to see how many neat things you can do with them and not just the obvious ones!
Thanks for the great blog candy opportunity!
Gerriann
i really love to keep it in the corner and one layer! I like to see how nice it can look without a lot of stuff. which can be a real challenge for me.
One of my biggest challenges is having enough enough space in my tiny nyc apt. to work effectively. I think i could play all day if it wasnt for the kids (darn those kids!) and having to hunt for things because i had to get creative on storage. But its really worth it cause i love it!
I love this challenge! I actually got another card made using only two stamps – one for the corner and the other the verse. It is also on my blog. Cool jelly beans! (It is Easter, after all!)
http://moosisk.blogspot.com/
I guess for me it starts with finding time to get downstairs to stamp. I have these ideas in my head that just seem brilliant, but then when I get time to actually go create…I get brain farts…lol. It then takes me forever to come up with the right coordinating colors.
My challenge is finding the perfect verse to convey the sentiment behind the card. I have my usual “go to’s” but sometimes they just don’t work and I have to resort to (SHUDDER !!!!!) hand lettering a sentiment. My othere big challenge is hand lettering. Go figure!
The most difficult thing for me is making my projects looks as great as the ones I case. I love your site by the way. It’s my #1 craft blog.
My biggest challenge is trying to come up with original layouts or in putting things together in an original way. It takes ME so much time to be original. I guess I just wish it could be more often, but should be content with all the awesome ideas out there that I really am grateful for, like your blog. I get so many great ideas from you and others like you who truly have the creative talent I wish I had more of. So, thanks from the bottom of my heart for all you share with us!
I love that lighthouse! The best I’ve seen yet. My biggest challenge is just doing it! I read and think about stamping, creating all the time, but I don’t just sit down and do it! I guess I’m just not confident in the outcoming so I don’t try.
My biggest challenge is getting out of my comfort zone. All my cards and scrapbook pages tend to look similar! I’m getting better, but I’m still pretty boring. 🙂 Doing challenges does help, I just need to make the time to do them to stretch me. 🙂
Thanks for a chance for some great stamps!
Happy Easter,
I hope you are having a great Easter Sunday .
My biggest challenge is watercoloring. I love to color, but sometimes it looks so bad, I need more practice I suppose, better still trying.
Thanks for sharing your ideas with us.
God bless you
Giovana
I am on a roll! I have never been able to make this many cards for a challenge. I have had so much fun doing this. Thanks for the great challenge.
http://moosisk.blogspot.com/
This is my last card entry. I promise!!!
Awesome stamp set! I would say that my biggest challenge is putting the “right” colors together.
I have a difficult time getting out the right supplies and then sticking with them. I always have to pull out 10 different shades of red. I should just keep it simple and stick with the first red I pull out. I need to trust in myself and my creattive ability. Happy Easter and I just love your blog thanks so much Cynthia
Lauren you are such an inspiration! Thank you so much for the challenge!!! Here is my card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/858933?cat=500&ppuser=83483
Happy Easter, and thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas!
Hey Lauren, thanks for the inspiration to do a simple card. It was so fun to not have to think about what goes where. Here it is:
http://bethanypaull.blogspot.com/2008/03/quickie.html
I just need to realize I don’t NEED every single stamping related item out there! WHat I have is plenty! I look at blogs and think,”If I just had this my projects would look so much better!” I made cards today and they were awesome (IMO) and it was fun, and they will be in the mail tommorrow!
I would say that my most difficult challenge
would be Ribbon placement and tying a decent bow.
I would love to own this stamp set…Beautiful!
Thanks for a chance to WIN!!
*We went with the pre-made desserts this
time too. Just couldn’t juggle the time.
* Nice sketch…
Beautiful card…still hoping to find time to try
one of these sketches.
Dee
I think my most difficult challenge is time. I have 3 dds and it does not seem like there is enough me time for me to enjoy my stamping. I know that will change but now it is frustrating sometimes. Anyway, this set is awesome. I just love the image and the verses. Thanks for the chance to win it and Happy Easter!
I totally love that stamp set. I’d love a chance to win it.
As for what’s challenging me…well it seems that all my card are monochromatic. I’d love to be able to use different colors together. Just not a talent of mine…yet.
Organization has to be the most difficult part of stamping for me. I seem to spend more time looking for a specific item I know I have or cleaning up the huge mess I just made creating something spectacular than I do stamping!
Oh what a wonderful set!!
The hardest thing about paper crafting for me is breaking free from the typical colors I always seem to use. Tell me to use green, orange, bright colrs etc ick!…I have issues getting inspired by colors I dont fancy!!
I have trouble trying to use colors outside the box..trying to find colors that might not work together and using them. I end up sticking to conventional colors..
thanks for a fabulous candy!!
Tejal
My most difficult challenge is getting something I really like! seems no matter what I do I never really like what I have finished!
My biggest challenge is water coloring… Whether it be with watercolor crayons or ink.. I struggle. I just LOVE this stamp set! Your blog has been such an inspiration to me!
my biggest challenge is figuring out a layout for my cards! It’s especially more difficult now that my home pc is out of commission for the time being. (woe is me!) hopefully I’ll have that fixed soon so I can utilize SCS for sketches! thanks for this chance Lauren!
[…] MYTIME MAIL—->HERE!!<—- […]
Hi Lauren –
Thanks for sharing! My biggest challenge is always coloring. I’m not good at blending, etc., but I keep trying. Glad you had a good Easter!!!!!!!
The most challenging thing for me is using patterned papers in my projects. I love them and all, and I have a LOT of them, but rarely use them….go figure!
Thank you for the chance to win 🙂
great cards Lauren! What a great stampset- those sentiments are the perfect compliment to the lighthouse stamp
Oh gosh…my biggest challenge. I think right now it’s space. I’m in the process of “making” my craft room (completely redoing a room that used to be a guest room…now is MY space). Before, every time I wanted to make something I had to pull stuff out from random corners of the house into the living room and then put it all away. I never know what I had, etc. It’s hard for me to be creative like that. I can NOT wait until my room is done!!!
Sometimes I sit down with a new set and can’t think of what to do with it. I’ll go to Splitcoast and look at other people’s designs but can’t do it on my own. I don’t copy everyone but I like to get color combos and layouts from people. I have learned that playing with it is key!
Thanks!
~Kathy
Thanks for another chance to win! My biggest challenge is the layout. I know colors really well, but am a perfectionist. Most of my time is spent on layout and then everything else comes a lot quicker!
My biggest challenge is time. I have 6 children and I home school them. I love paper crafting but sometimes by the time they are all in bed, I’m too exhausted to even think straight. It is like therapy for me though and helps to keep me sane. 🙂 I love your blog and try to visit everyday…time permitting. Hope you had a wonderful Easter.
My biggest challenge is coming up with the initial idea. Once I see something I can take it and make it “my own”, but it is the what can I do that is different from the last card or paper project that I did. That is why I love your blog and SCS, you are all so creative and it helps me in this area.
Thanks for the chance to win this “Daily Bread” stamp. I love, love, love, this set.
Hi Lauren,
My most challenging thing is choosing the correct color combos. I have a color wheel that I find helpful and just trial and error usually helps as well, but sometimes I have wasted allot of materials and cardstock before getting to where I want to be. Love your 2 cards posted here. Thanks! Barb
Good morning Lauren,
I would have to say time and color combining would be difficult areas for me. I love color but I also love to match not necessarily compliment. Thanks
Lauren:
What a wonderful sketch idea. Hmmm…I’ve got a couple of stamps that would work well, so I’ll post my card (or cards) later this week.
My greatest stamping/papercrafting challenge is coming up with my own layouts. I can put together great cards as long as someone else has come up with a sketch. I’m seriously layout-challenged. LOL!
Take care and have a great week – Regina
I used to be afraid to try different techniques because I didn’t want to waste my precious supplies. I’ve been learning that it’s not a waste as long as I can learn from it. I keep some of my “mistakes” as a reminder of what works and what doesn’t–some actually work perfectly for different projects.
My challenge is to accomplish ANYTHING! I have a small work area for my creations, but I seem to do alright when it’s time to do swaps (kinda) for Convention. I have no excuse not to work – I’m retired, no kids at home, etc. that others, including you have. I’m just not driven to accomplish I guess. I’m working hard to change, but at my age, change comes slowly. Now I need to get off the computer – Thanks again for all your inspiration and creativity! You are my favorite paper crafter!
My biggest challenge is to get off the computer and stamp! I spend too much time surfing and not near enough time using the supplies I have to create!
The most difficult part of stamping for me is getting an idea! The rest fits as soon as I can get the ” idea” in my head.
Hmmm…my biggest challenge is just giving myself the time do some crafting!
Love the bird card – gorgeous!
Thanks,
Alison
Thank you for sponsoring this give-away. My biggest challenge is letting the housework, laundry, dishes and other sundry “necessary” things and making the time to sit undisturbed to create. By the time I get all that done, my creativity is shot. That’s why I love your blog, it has so many creative ideas to help reinspire me.
My biggest challenge is time! I have lots of ideas & a cabinet full of alterables, like you, but struggle to find time to play. Seems like I’m always doing the projects I have to do (usually at the last minute!) or prepping for a class. My goal is to start actually doing the fun project ideas instead of just thinking abou them!
My biggest challenge is putting papers together…..maybe I just have to much of them to choose from….but when it comes to this….I slow right down. TFS!
Holy Cow that’s a lot of replies! I saw this stamp set over on Laurie Schmidlin’s blog too! I really like it and I know my Pastor would love some stationary made with this! He LOVES lighthouses and has them all over his office! Thanks Lauren for a wonderful blog to read!
I think my biggest challenge is putting colors together and then using DP to coordinate. I think it’s really all a challenge for me but I still love to try!!!! 🙂 It’s a fun outlet from the everyday grind!
Thanks for the chance to win the great blog candy! The biggest papercrafting challenge that I have is simply finding the time to do it! I wish that I could devote more time to it than I seem to have lately…
On the “cherish”card, what stamp did you use for the flower? I love the way you made it look.
Awesome card!
Jules
I think my biggest challenge is trying new color combos. It seems like I am stuck in a rut and use the same colors all the time. I also seem to have a problems “allowing” myself to use some of the cool stuff in my stash!
Thanks for the simple sketch! Love it!! http://zanynotcrazy.blogspot.com/2008/03/simple-monday-youre-tweet.html
My biggest challenge is figuring out how to add all the cool embellishments that I buy! I have a ton of great things that I just don’t break into! Either that or stop buying them! 🙂
My biggest challenge is paper combinations. I have so many paper, but I seem to stick to a boring recipe of: one solid, one patterned, secondary solid. I wish I could see past the colors and patterns and branch out more.
Great blog! I love the inspiration I find here!
What a FUN challenge!!!! I love the simple elegance it can produce…you can check mine out here…I made 2 I liked it so much!
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=86700
This is an awesome set – I had checked it out the other day – thanks for the opportunity to win it here! Great blog – your ideas are fantastic and help me with my biggest challenge: using new color combos and patterns. Thank you again. Marta
Ok I did it….one layer….rofl! Thanks for the challenge!
My most difficult part of creating cards is coming up with layouts, which is why I love SC challenges and everyone else’s (including yours!)! Once I have that, everything comes pretty easily. (P.S. I see you finally got the Birds Galore set! Love your card!)
Just have to tell you that I come to your site a LOT for inspiration!
my biggest challenge is trying to do anything STRAIGHT! I can’t faux stitch straight, I can’t paper pierce straight, I can’t cut with decorative scissors straight (at least without first drawing a pencil line) well you get the picture. I have bought all kinds of rulers, gizmos, gadgets, etc., and I still can’t get anything to come out straight! so I’ve learned to just go with it and call it ‘whimsy’!!! 😉
Jennifer

My biggest challenge is just picking that perfect sketch to go with the stamps I want to use. I second guess myself way too much when it comes to that, and end up doing nothing! Oh, and the space I have is limited, so I can never find what I have until it’s too late 🙂 Now, that’s a problem!
My biggest challenge sometimes is choosing which stamps to use because that is usually where I start. Love your card with the stampendous flower I have that stamp and I like how you only colored portions of it. TFS Ann
My biggest challenge is picking the right paper combinations!! I also sometimes have trouble with picking the right stamps to use…….I’m working on it and hopefully I’ll get better as time goes on. Thanks for the chance!!
Cindy C.

My biggest challenge is thinking outside the box. I usually use clean lines and a lot of layers and I wish I would get more out of the box and not rely so much on sketch challenges and other cards and more on my own eyes and inspirations. Thanks for the chance to own this awesome set!
My biggest challenge is maintaining my space – I find it difficult creating
when everything is cluttered around me. Thanks for the chance to win this great set!
Hello, my biggest challenge is deciding where to start, I have so many stamps etc………I might have an inspiration but my finished card is never the same. I also, having never had any classes, have lots of questions and ‘how did they do that?” moments.
I am delighted to see this new company starting up and will definitely be a regular customer. I loved all the design teams examples, all so different and very inspiring and all the designs from one basic set. I think that is what I really like about rubberstamping. I cannot draw but I have rubber stamps! LOL.
Well I hope I win, it seems I never do win things so it would be a pleasant change 🙂 Thanks for offering this blog candy!!
Happy Spring……………dorothy in bc by the sea
For sure, my biggest challenge is time! Just sitting down and creating something without a dozen interruptions! But maybe one day when my kids are at least at school or something that won’t be a problem. Oh, and buying the ‘right’ supplies for a project. Like wanting to use “these” colors but not having the correct colored accessory…
Anyway, I love the set (BIG fan of lighthouses) and I love the sketch! I’ll have to try that one soon! Thanks!
My FIRST sketch challenge is complete. As I stated before, keeping it simple and “not OVERTHINKING it” are my biggest challenges. I would love to know what you think. I wish you could see it in person, the scanner doesn’t do it justice. It really is very smooth and flows very nicely…………
http://cardiologycardsfromtheheart.blogspot.com will pull it up
I agree with Cassie my biggest challenge is remembering all the stuff that I have so that I can actually “use” it — I buy it because I think if I only get this other thing I’ll be so creative! I can be so wrong sometimes:)
This is an awesome set! I love it, and all of the beautiful cards that I have seen done with it so far! My biggest challenge is taking the time to stamp, and then it seems to take me so long to create just one card….I don’t know how you all do it!
My 2 biggest challenges is using my stash instead of buying more 😛 and getting started each time… I can take 2 hours to get my first layout of the night done 🙁
I think my biggest challenge is realizing that every card doesn’t have to be absolutely, positively PERFECT. If my layers are even the tiniest bit uneven it drives me crazy!
Thank you for a chance at winning this great stamp set! It is such a nice one. My biggest challenge might be what colours would go together. I should probably invest in one of those colour wheels.
Love this stamp set and new company! Thanks so much for the chance to win and for sharing your creations and tutorials with us! My biggest challenge is usually layout. I always want to do something different, but often fall back on the familiar. That’s why I love sketch challenges – like yours!
My biggest challenge is picking what image I want to use. I have too much stuff, and tend to get stuck in a rut!! Love that sketch!!! I love clean and simple!!
My challenge is that I keep reading Blogs and magazines and have stacks of samples that I want to recreate, but instead of working on the samples I have, I keep reading more Blogs and collecting more instructions. Whew, there’s not enough time to do all that I want to do. I truly enough your Blog!
Oops, just discovered a typo in my first reply.
Take #2: My challenge is that I keep reading Blogs and magazines and have stacks of samples that I want to recreate, but instead of working on the samples I have, I keep reading more Blogs and collecting more instructions. Whew, there’s not enough time to do all that I want to do. I truly enjoy your Blog!
OMG 316 responses…Looks like everyone is doing your challenges. I finally got around to mine..I have to say..this one was a challenge for sure…but I love challenges…

Hi Lauren!
Thanks for the fun challenge…I don’t do one layer cards very often, I have lots of stuff to use up:)
Here’s mine http://wishyouwerehere-laura.blogspot.com/2008/03/quality-of-day.html
Have a wonderful day!
very neat set, I love your blog you always have nice stuff to admire! Love the one layer cards.
absolutely beautiful…..
I love the simple yet so elegance of your work!!
My challenge is finding time and then not being too tired once it comes!
My most difficult challenge is just cutting out an image. I don’t do a lot of just cutting because I can’t follow the lines well. I guess my eyes are just not young enough anymore. Most of the time I use punches to punch around the image if I can. But I keep making cards anyway. I love it.
What a great set.
My biggest challenge is remembering what all I have, and where I have stashed it 🙂
Once I am making something, my biggest challenge is coordinating the cardstock, ink and embellishments.
Your work is fabulous – SO very beautiful, each and every piece you create!
My biggest challenge? Actually finding/making the time to spend more time in my craft room USING some of the KABILLIONS of things I’ve bought with the best of intentions………..LOL!!
Blimey I never realised quite how hard this would be lol.
Thanks for the challenge Lauren

Here is mine. http://terrbear38.blogspot.com/2008/03/blog-hop-and-birthday.html
Keeping things simple is a big challenge for me so this was a great sketch for me. I was able to incorporate it into the PTI blog hop challenge too. Thanks for the sketch.
Here’s my sketch card … very fun.

Woo Hoo! I got a sketch done!! Stamping time “for fun” has been few and far between so I’m really excited to have done this card! (Not that sympathy cards are fun…not at all…) Thanks for another great sketch! Hugs…
