YEAH! The weekend is just about here. I am very excited about that.

So for the weekend-I KNOW Valentine’s day *just* ended, but in this industry, you have to be ready to move on to the next thing, and fast. Trust me, I have been in Easter mode for a month now, due to stamp releases! LOL! I felt like the stores had to catch up with us, for once.

Publications are currently taking Halloween ideas! EEEKKK! Needless to say “I” will not be submitting for that 😀

OK so moving on-lets think Easter! I am going to share my basket’s and Blogger’s Challenge

easter-nestablility-basket-for-friend.jpg Purple Posie’s-in the PTI gallery

Women of Life, and Just Hatched were used on all of these samples. Flowers are popped out using the Cuttlebug Flowers #1 die. Not an exact match, but I still love the look

mytime-nesting-basket-pti.jpg Spring Garden-using patterned paper by Scenic Route.

I made these QUICK and cute Easter Baskets JUST from my large rectangle nestability dies!

You can stamp your basket’s, or use patterned paper. If mass producing-obviously EMBOSSING the edges takes MORE time-so you don’t have to do that.

You could alter this design by using squares as well.

The tutorial/idea would be the same, just your measurement’s may change 😀

For the purpose of this tutorial I a making my basket in a pattern, and a solid, so you get the visual idea. It also did come very cool.

DIRECTIONS: Click thumbnails to enlarge

Step 1

Die cut your desired cardstock/paper. You will need 4. Two for the front/back, then two for the sides.

step-1-cut-4-rectangles.jpg

Step 2

I used my Scor-Pal, and scored in between the last scallop-edge to edge. See photo.

step-2-score-edges.jpg

On the front/back piece ONLY score bottom. On side pieces score both side AND bottom.

step-3-snip-corners-of-sides.jpg-On the side pieces  snip the corner (triangle off)

Step 3

Bend all scored edges FORWARD. Apply adhesive to all bent edges.

step-4-bend-scored-edges-forward-apply-adhesive-to-all-edges.jpg

Step 4

When putting together-line up the tops scallop to scallop.

step-5-line-up-scallops-on-edges.jpg     photo-of-bottom.jpg  Photo of basket sides together, bottom of basket. step-7-bottom.jpg Bottom attached.

Using the LARGEST scallop rectangle, it  turns out to be 3 1/2 inches squared, for your bottom piece. It becomes a square due to the way the sides were scored.

Step 5

Add a handle! Just cut about 1 1/4 inches wide by 11 inches long-end will fit perfect. Just put ends on the inside! They will also keep the sides from buckling in D

Here is our finished basket!

mytime-finished-just-hatched-basket.jpg Flowering Treats Basket

Now here is a close-up of my CLEAR-glitter egg! I found it an our local $1 spot! 12 for a $1.

mytime-egg.jpg

I added a band to it, and used the bird from Just Hatched. Its the perfect thing for hiding the closure, and easily slides on and off. That means REUSABLE!

Please ask any ?’s you may have here, and I will edit to answer.

If you give them a try-well send us a link here so we can all view YOUR version.

I am making these for ALL my kids classmates-which turns out to be 36 baskets! I am also giving myself plenty of time, since Easter is ABOUT 4 weeks away. That is only 9 baskets a week. I could do 3 every other day. Very workable.

NOW onto mu blogger’s challenge! WHEW! Are you still with me???

We had to use a layout on page 42 in the SU! Catalog for our card.

Well, while using this paper I decided a card to match my basket would be PERFECT!

mytime-mft-bottoms-up-hi.jpg

So, I used the bunny image from the New! Eggstra Special Easter, and stamped him-upside -down. I also used Essential Sentiments for the sentiment, and the Behind the Scenes bkgds as well.

I used my Sizzix flower pot die, and created a flower pot for his butt to pop out of. I got this concept after seeing some Whipper Snapper images at a store. I wanted the stamp-but figured I was better off making my own, with my already owned, cute set.

The bunny is flocked. So looks all soft and fuzzy in person.

I used some Doodlebug Paper frills for the pot flowers.

Added some Prima’s and DONE!

Well that is all for today! WOW! What a LONG post. I hope you enjoyed it though.

I would like for you to try out the baskets as PART of my Saturday Sketch.

Speaking of which I better get working on that 😀

Till tomorrow!

Candy Carrot Garden

Feb 15, 2008 Author: mytime | Filed under: Home decor/3-D items, Uncategorized

SO what did you think of the reveal? I can’t believe its over. I doesn’t feel real.

Pretty fabulous stuff huh? I couldn’t get into the forums at all. Insert sad face. I would have loved to chat it up with all of you. Oh well. That what happens when you get a bunch of PTI starvedwomen on one site right-LOL!

If you wonder which stuff is mine-it was posted under gallery administrator. Just a last minute glitch. Im sure it will be fixed soon. Im sure you figured it out anyway, but just thought I’d let you know all the same.

Wait till you have the new things in hand. The ribbon is to DIE for! Seriously. The colors are gorgeous. I can’t wait to play mor with the new colors.

I noticed my friend Tracey Cuccia, and Elisabeth Neumann got an honorable mention! YEAH! Cyber hi-5 girl!

Congrats to the winners and other honorable mentions. I never know HOW Nichole can pick from all the amazing samples she must get. AMAZING.

So speaking of samples here is my Just Hatched project.

Feel free to ask any ?’s. I will edit to answer any here.

mytime-pti-carrot-box-l-side.jpg

This is my Candy Carrot Box.It is suppose to look like the perfect Candy Garden!Just pluck a candy carrot from the “ground” and you have the perfect treat.

When filling these “carrots”, the possibilities for a themed garden is endless.

This box is a great size. You will notice that I stamped a border, using an image from the Polka Dot Basics set. The box has a matte finish and takes the ink beautifully.

I used various versamagic inks on the project. Kept it clean and SIMPLE!

I stamped my sentiment in versamark onto celery cardstock AND vellum cardstock. I them embossed with white EP.

mytime-hatched-sign-close-up.jpg

I used a hobby blade to cut out the center pieces, so that the vellum would be seen through the green overlay. A cute way to use the sentiment.

Because my carrots stick out over the top, I put my lid underneath, then decorated with wide grosgrain ribbon

I covered my insert with a celery cardstock, to look like “grass”. Just measure the insert, then trace the holes on back of piece, use the 1 3/8 circle punch-DONE!  I moved the egg hole insert, up, and adhered with redline tape.

For the carrots-

tops-of-carrots-mytime.jpg

I cut down disposable frosting bags, to about 6 inches. I used the polka dot images to stamp the tops of my bag’s with white stazon. I used my Poppin Acetate technique found —>HERE. It really helps take those PLAIN bags, and give them some POP!

I quickly brushed on Pebbles Inc. shimmery pastels, while StazOn was still wet. This made the bag tops co-ordinate with the colors of my candy, and border.

When I filled the bags (I used tropical Skittles) I then punched a scallop circle from a Apricot piece of cardstock-so from the top, the appeared to look like carrots. Tied with celery ribbon and done.

Well I hope you liked my version of the Just Hatched boxes. They really do have UNLIMITED possibilities.

Im off to prepare another tutorial for you all, and hopefully work on my blogger’s challenge!

Be back soon.

Forever and ever………..Tip for the KIDS, and for your ink

Feb 14, 2008 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards

Happy Valentine’s Day!

WOW! I am BUSY BUSY BUSY! Like you have NO idea how crazy-but here I am.

I also hope you get to do something special with the one’s you love.

This is such a Hallmark Holiday, and I really think you shouldn’t need ONE day to show people you love them. It really needs to a year long effort.

Jason and I work hard at that. Be it a little message on the phone, an email, a card in the car-left for them to find as they head off to the next journey. Same with the kids.

My mom would sometimes write little notes on the napkins of our lunches! I always loved it, and do the same for my kids. Or I draw a cute little picture for them. Pop up with random surprises. That’s the fun stuff.

It really is the little things.

Jason and I have a date Saturday! YEAH!!! It is SO needed. So we will really be sure to enjoy it.

OK Now I am off and running and I promised to share some good stuff-

First is my card to my AWESOME, loving BEST friend and husband-Jay

He is my rock. Anything you could want rolled up in ONE person-that is Jason, to me.

I am SO very blessed that he felt I was worthy enough to be his wife, and mother of his children 😀

My love, Forever & ever.

mytime-love-for-jay.jpg

The heart IS the “card”. It opens on the left side. The photo turn holds it closed.

EDITED TO ADD THE HEART CARD IS THE LARGE HEART NESTABILITY!

The rest is just to add to the overall design.

I used this bird image from Inkadinkadoo. It reminds me of “love birds” and just growing old together, sitting somewhere, looking at the stars.

The birds are flocked. The moon sparkles.

This sentiment by PTI- Out on a Limb is my most favorite-EVER!

The flowers are one of my favorite SU! sets-Stem Silhouettes. I added some punched vellum flowers to my branches for interest, and to continue the blossoms on the branches below.

I LOVE these colors together! Ruby Red, Cameo Coral and Black! I had to spritz some black to complete the look.

Jason LOVES when I make him cards. The more involved the better! LOL! Now THAT is pressure. You have to out-do the last one, all the time. He saves everything I make him-so there is definitely PROOF of improvement 😀

OK now for my Papertrey Ink tip

You saw she is coming out with 2 new colors! Aqua Mist and Spring Moss!!!

MY problem with ALL Palette Ink is that the COLOR on the COVER, does not come CLOSE to the color stamped. For me, this is personally frustrating.

Aqua Mist appears almost like a teal on the writing on the lid. You have no idea how truly gorgeous the color really is.

So I have a solution for ALL my Palette inks 😀

pti-ink-cover-label.jpg

I stamp my labels (for this I used Limitless Labels), and stuck then to my lid. Now I get a very nice look at how the color is once it is stamped.

You could certainly print the names off, but for me having it listed on the bottom is just fine.

SO I hope that helps you, if this was an issue you had, like I did.

I also want to tell you that I store these inks in a white RIBBON holder (clear hinge top lid), from Michaels! It costs $10, and stores about 18 pads! On their sides though. But hey, for me a cheap space saver.

OK next up! How do YOU get more stamping time if you have children. Now I can’t help with ALL ages, but can tell you mine are 8, 5 and 3.

ITS CHEAP, FUN, and SURE TO PLEASE!

You are going to create a POST OFFICE within your home. Your kids will play this for HOURS on end. Writing letters, delivering them, picking them up. Its a totally awesome, and a creative game that keeps them busy, and happy. TRUST ME.

Target sells Re-usable shopping bags. They cost a $1!!! They are red, and are sold near the $1 section. They look like a zipped up wallet. Un zip, and you have a bag with handles! WAY cool, and you can bring the game to Grandma’s.

This becomes a MAIL CARRIER bag for your kids.

You all RAVE about those CHEAP $1 mailboxes at Target. I KNOW you have oodles that you are hoarding! So get them out.

I not only let my kids decorate them with stickers, papers, rub-ons and stamps, but they have about 15 they put throughout the house. THIS takes some time for THEM to do, so mean while YOU stamp!

I bought them some cheap stamps, washable ink, and markers. I get the ugliest notecards on CLEARANCE for like a $1. They can decorate them and the envy’s as they wish. You can even buy cheap $1 playing card for them to use.

I stamped the Limitless Labels on some Avery mailing labels, and then using a Martha Stewart POSTAGE shape punch, I make them their own stamps! Each had their own box of stamps, letters, and envy’s. They just peel and stick. And if they put them ALL over your GLASS table-they peel off, no problem 😀

My kids have a blast with all the different things they can do with this activity.

OK Im off to Alexa’s class party. I hope you all will have time to stop by at the PTI release. Its gonna be HUGE!!!

Tomorrow I will have a tutorial for one of my PTI projects. So hope you can check back then.

mytime-choco-dove-boxes.jpg

This is a DELICIOUS post! LOL! Read to the end for my recipe for you all to try.

It’s ALMOST Valentine’s day, and I am working (last minute of course), on some sweet treat’s for the kid’s teachers!

I saw this image from Lizzie Anne Design’s set Petite Phrases, and also used Celebration Frames (on right), and thought it would be PERFECT for the job!

I LOVE Dove Chocolate’s, and thought that packaging up some would be so SWEET! Since I LOVE making boxes, I had fun doing these.

So I grabbed my trusty Scor-Pal, and I made this candy box holder just PERFECT for 12 Dove Chocolates 😀

WAIT TILL YOU SEE WHAT I HAVE UP MY SLEEVE FOR EASTER!!!! WOW!

Anyway-

I made 2 boxes here-one with Acetate, and the other with Vellum cardstock. I wanted to show the versatility in the design. I think these look so scrumptious, and make giving such a SIMPLE and in expensive gift (works out to be $1 each!!! There are 3 servings per bag :D) look so special.

You will need to cut your cardstock

5 1/2 X 8

Score along the 5 inch side at 1-4-and 5

Score along the 8 inch side at 1- 3 1/2- 4 1/2- then 7

See diagram for where to cut!

Finished size- 3 inches high- 2 1/2 across, 1 inch wide

NOTE: Ribbon around box keeps lid flap closed nicely

mytime-template-dove-boxes.jpg

These are DONE in 5 minutes EASY! After you make one of course.

So I hope you get to test one out. I’d LOVE to see it.

Thanks for all the kind and caring messages/emails/ and even phone calls! I don’t think you are a stalker-I feel so loved! 😀

I really appreciate the fabulous recipe’s you all shared! I am now signed up for Kraft Foods email’s too.

I honestly have NOT tried any yet-we need to go to the food store :C, but we do have a list of items to try them out.

Now I am going to share my FAVORITE recipe-quick, easy and sure to please!

Olive Garden Style Fettuccine Alfredo Sauce

Sauce-

8 ounces Cream cheese — cut in bits
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese — grated
1/2 cup Butter or margarine
1/2 cup Milk

Black Pepper, and oregano to taste
8 ounces Fettuccine; cook — drain | In large saucepan combine cream cheese, Parmesan, butter and
milk, stirring constantly until smooth. Toss pasta lightly with
sauce, coating well. Leftovers freeze well.

PS you can double everything to get MORE sauce (you don’t have to double the cream cheese though)

Make it with Chicken and Broccoli-

While the noodles Boil-

I just throw in some frozen breaded chicken tenders in the oven-Like 450 degrees for 20-25 min

I also throw frozen broccoli in the microwave while it all cooks-

Now you have Chicken & Broccoli Fettuccine!

I aslo ALWAYS throw a garlic bread in the oven with the last 10 minutes that the tenders cook!

YUMMY!!!

Now tomorrow Not only is it the PTI release (YEAH!!!!) I will share a COOL tip-in regards to a Papertrey Product (yes I got Nichole’s permission first :D), and my V-day card for Jason, as well as COOL activity for those of you with children, that will allow YOU more TIME to stamp!!! It will also help them explore their own creative side without driving mommy INSANE.

So come back then!
 Till tomorrow.

I AM alive! But had a scary thing happen.

Feb 13, 2008 Author: mytime | Filed under: About Me

Im sorry for the lack of posting. Sweet so many of you were worried about me 😀

I got many “Are you OK “emails 😀 So I will fill you in

I had a bit of an issue yesterday. A huge scare actually, and I am still calming down from it all.

I found a lump under my arm, and had to go for a biopsy yesterday.  The lump had been there for  a year , and until I noticed a significant change in size, literally overnight, I had tried NOT to think about it. I know, I should have had it checked sooner, but I really didn’t want to know.

Im talking from smaller than a pea to a nice sized strawberry.

Anyway, thankfully the biopsy was done, and THIS IS GROSS-it was all puss. That was fabulous news!!!

It was a blocked lymph node, and they think recent stress, and they type of exercise I had been doing, irritated it, to form a large fluid filled cyst.

Other than the pain of the needle inserted to biopsy it, and now it still hurts I am OK!

Now we have also had snow and ice, and my Internet has been on and off.

I do have things to share with you, but have some things to wrap up here first so I can give YOU my time during my post.

I also want to share a great recipe for YOU!

OK-I swear I will be back tonight-and let me tell you some of the stuff I have to share is going to ROCK your projects 😀

I have some loose ends to tie up to for the PTI release 😀 Im SO excited I can’t stand it.

So thanks for caring and nearing with me

My advice for this post would be DON’T wait! Go to the doctor.

I was fourtunate my incident wasn’t serious.

I really didn’t want to know or deal with it but now a big sigh of relief.

It also showed me that if it were “something” big, I have alot of loose ends to tie up regarding life. Such as a will and all the BLECH-

I am definitely enjoying TODAY.

OK Ill be back

Many ways to say thanks-I guess Im excellent :D

Feb 11, 2008 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Recipe's

I have so many reason’s to be thankful and alot of that is because of all of you!

Your kindness, support, comments and  friendship mean so much to me. I have also gotten to know so many of you, that I never would have, had I not become a stamper.

To read the THOUSAND comments on everyone’s Egg Boxes at PTI was truly amazing. It was heart warming to read the sweetness that was poured into each one.

So the card today is for ALL of you! With a big cyber hug and kiss-MWAH!

Well, how honored do I feel being nominated for the Excellent blogger award by 4 different people!

Please check out there blogs below. They are all EXCELLENT too 😀 I am so happy to have connected with so many amazing people (aka ALL OF YOU out there in cyberspace), through stamping.

SPECIAL Thanks to these girls-I feel SO loved-seriously!

Kimmie, Michelle, Lynda and Amber

I also have received some great RAKs from Bobbie Lawrence, Debbie, Tracy, Lora, Lynda, Chelsy, and Ilysa-THANKS GIRLS!

I also want to thank Paulette who is always there to pick me up when I am down-AKA great shopping buddy and friend. It means so much to me 😀

So here you go! My many thanks card

mytime-much-gratitude.jpg

Not a single stamp was used! GASP!!! I know-it was hard for me to even admit as I typed.

I have to say I am totally in LOVE with it though. These are actually STICKERS I got from Heidi Swapp. I saw them, and just fell in love. Let the layering begin.

This could definitely be re-made ALL INK and Rubbah/Acrylic, but talk about a FAST card.

The “thanks!” is a rub on by making memories.

I will say getting the circle cut out-not so fast! But I have happy once I got it right.

Along the circle I needed SOMETHING!!!! So I went with the brads.

What do you think?

I’m loving the colors, ribbon and eyelets on this.

Speaking of LOVE-anyone else out there going to CKU in Manchester NH May 16th?

I know I am getting together with some of my BESTEST PSF’s ever-and am going to have quite the fun spend fest!

If you go-I’d LOVE to meet you!!!

OK I’m off -I need to do my quickie clean up then order pizza.

If anyone has a GREAT quick dinner recipe-PLEASE share! I am in a What’s for dinner? Some ole crap RUT! BLECH!!!!

Till tomorrow 😀

A card, a bag and a tag………….

Feb 10, 2008 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards, Home decor/3-D items

This is a quickie post today. Lots to do, as I have so much going on this week. The Papertrey Ink reveal is just DAYS away! EEEEEEEKKKKKKKK! I bet you are as excited as I am!

What do you all think so far? Let me know.

OK so I am sorry I couldn’t think of some fancy title for my post-but rather a rhyme to describe the “goods”. I love stuff that is all matchy, matchy! I am drawn to the simplest matchy items when I shop for things, so shy not just make my own!

It doesn’t have to be complex to be a hit or attractive.

So this post will show how you can take ONE item and make a plethora of stuff, based from that ONE design.

This set started with my tag.

The items showcased all use Fun to be Floral by Lizzie Anne Designs, as well as Say it in Script.

I made them to be all occasion. My favorite combo-Pink & Brown! Actually positively Pink and Chocolate Chip.

First up will be the bag!

mytime-pc-gift-bag-to-match.jpg

I whipped this up in UNDER 5 minutes! The butterfly is a sticker, and the sewn vellum piece was sewn alone, then attached with vellum adhesive dots.

The flower center’s are a flower punched from vellum cardstock that I got at the Target $1 spot! LOVE Target!

Next is a tag that can be attached to the bag

mytime-sketch-tag-set.jpg

You can’t read it but it says Happy Day 3x’s

Continued the same sewn vellum piece on that tag, as the bag. The pink rectangle is embossed with my rectangle nestabilities.

Now for the card.

mytime-la-fushia-funky-flowers.jpg I HEART this card.

Its SIMPLE yet so appealing to me.

I stamped the flowers with aperfect plumeria ink, then stamped over it with the Java ink.

Rhinestone stickers adorn my centers.

The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. I first stamped a small flower from the set, onto cardstock, then punched my butterfly, from how I wanted  the pattern to look.

The sheer ribbon was a Michael’s find.

And that is it!

Quick and easy peasy.

OK Ill be back soon. I’m on the run-

NEW STAMPS! Valentine’s for my children-with a little story

Feb 10, 2008 Author: mytime | Filed under: Cards

Talk about feeling cut off from the world!

Sorry for the delay in my posting. I had NO Internet last night till just a few moments ago! Talk about PANIC!!! I don’t know if it was due to the snow we got or not, but having no contact with the cyber world is awful! LOL!

I woke up to several wonderful emails about my Carrot Box over at Papertrey Ink!

Thank you for being so sweet. I am happy you all like it. I received A TON of questions about it, and unfortunately I can’t really say much more than you will see more about it at the time of reveal, and I will also post it here, after that, on my blog. I will then answer any and ALL questions, about my projects,  if you have any.

The MAIN question was WHERE I bought polka dot frosting bags.

I can tell you they were plain when I bought them 😀 They now magically match my project (wink).

I have to say I was in AWE over all the wonderful projects each and every DT member came up with. Each box different from the last. It has FINALLY sunk in that “I” am part of it. WOW!

Now onto those ADORABLE C.C. Designs samples!

I was happy to see SO many people LOVE her image’s. They are just adorable, and not like anything else I see on the market. Each new set gets better and better.

Christine has come out with the cutest monkey stamp set-WOW!

It is called Monkey Love, and retails for ONLY $11 un-mounted. She also has the cutest new packaging.

Let’s not forget- NEW! Big Ol’ Backgrounds-3 styles. Those also retail for only $9 un-mounted. Let’s hope these are the first of MANY.

Now for the SAMPLES!! I loved creating with these images, and wish I got to do more, but the week was INSANE here. Lot’s going on.

I did however utilize EVERY new stamp in just 3 samples.

These cards are going to be for my 3 little monkey’s! They will go with their Valentine’s gifts.

I also didn’t make all my monkey’s your “standard” and expected color. So that was fun to “monkey” around with too.

First up! Alexa’s Card- I love you THIS much

mytime-love-you-this-much.jpg

I LOVE this image because I always say to my kids “Guess how much I love you?”

Then they stretch out their arms and say “This much”.

Then I say “No bigger. Then I stretch out my arms, ands say “This much”. Then they so “No way, I think its bigger than that” and I give them a big hug.

That is a little go round I started with them as babies-Alexa being first. They always giggle when we do that. It’s always my nighttime routine before their kiss goodnight. I hope that is something they always remember.

So for the card- I colored it with myCopic Markers. I basically ONLY use those for coloring now. Unless I say otherwise (which I doubt I will-LOL!).

The hands are PERFECT for holding things 😀 I used my Martha Stewart heart punch in these samples. I took my glue pen and drew a heart in the negative space, then added red glitter.

Now for Amber’s-

hanging-around-mytime.jpg Just hanging around

For this I used the hanging monkey, and the hearts bkgd! They are such a NICE size!

THIS is SOOOOO Amber. She loves pink, and anything real GIRLY! I had to color the monkey pink, just for her! She is also very touchy/feely so I flocked the monkey on her card!

All I did was color as desired, took my glue pen to the monkey, and added white flock!

YES!! You read it right WHITE flock! When its lightly applied, it is like having CLEAR flock 😀 Pretty cool huh?

She is always hanging around, and like a monkey, she picks things up with her toes! LOL!

One time she had those Snack Pack bread sticks, with the side of peanut butter-and she picked up the sticks with her TOES, and dipped it in the peanut butter, then by bringing her feet to her mouth ate her package of sticks like that!

Its gross yet cool all at the same time!

Now onto my boy monkey-Noah

I call this-When you are feeling blue-Here is a hug

mytime-when-your-are-blue-hug-for-you.jpg

This uses the hug monkey-like in Alexa’s card. It also uses the 2 other bkgd’s-dots and plaid.

OK So a blue monkey isn’t as cute as a pink one! LOL! Maybe its the green?

Anyway Noah will LOVE it. He loves when I make him cards, and truly knows and value’s the time I take doing it.

Remember he asked if I’d make him special invites for his friends to come over?

 You can see them —>HERE

Blue is also his favorite color.

Noah is the most sensitive of the 3 children I believe. If he see’s you are sad, he is the first to give you a HUGE hug and kiss, and he will just stay there and keep hugging you, till you tell him you are OK.

Really makes you melt to see it.

He gets this super soft side from Jason.

He is very warm and caring. Noah is like a big brother to both sister’s, even though Alexa is 3 years older. You would NEVER know, he was not first. He watches out for them and is very protective.

He is also so sweet and caring towards his classmates.

Some girl will be very lucky to have him  some day.

Not only is he sweet and sensitive, but he LOVES to keep things clean and in order (that is from me). He also loves cooking, and watches Rachel Ray anytime she is on! LOL!

What more can a girl want. She may however have to put up with the endless need for video games though. Oh well!

Well I hope you enjoyed the versatile look this set can have. Perfect for you little monkey’s.

I also love these can be for ALL occasions. Its definitely not a HOLIDAY based set.

I hope to get a lot done today-as the past few days have been VERY non-productive for me.

My mo-jo was saying NO! NO!

I needed to listen, and let the idea’s flow when they are ready.

So here to hoping they are back from Vacation! LOL!

I will say I was SHOCKED my kids did NOT want ot make their own Valentines this year! Oh well.

I’d love to hear what fun traditions you have for Valentine’s day! Be it everyday sweet stories, traditions with your kids, or husband/boyfriend. Maybe even a best memory.

Till tomorrow.

YEAH! Its Saturday! My favorite day of the week for SO many reasons.

First let me share the sketch with you all! Click it for a larger view 😀

sketch-34.JPG

Jason is home-and cooks the best breakfast EVERY weekend.

He knows my FAVORITE is waffles, so he makes the BEST homemade waffles for me!

The kids so look forward to it. Noah is Jay’s best buddy, and just loves having daddy home- especially if it involves them playing video games together. Its hilarious to watch them. They make the same faces, and know just when to hi-5! LOL!

I plan on hitting the stores before the storm hits, then Jay,the kids and I will all cuddle up on the couch and play  the new Wii we got yesterday. WOW it is as cool as they claim!

I have to admit its actually alot of fun! I am NOT a video game person, but Jason loved that I actually played. He wanted one so I would join in the fun. We stayed up WAY too late, and now are paying the price. The kids are up nice and early. Isn’t that always the way?

Now that we have this I’d love to hear what games people are finding the most fun, especially if you have small children 😀

OK so I had the winner of Mytime Mail picked by Random.org, for what will be used for Saturday’s sketch next week.

So here is to our winner:

with Paper since I haven’t seen much of their stuff.

FUN NEWS!!! I got my copy of the April issue of Craft’s n’Things! I am featured in there 5 times,
using some of your fave's mentioned- C.C. Designs, some Stampin’Up! and a super cool box using
 Butterfly Kisses from Papertrey Ink!!

I forgot about these projects since they were picked up SO long ago.

I also want to congratulate Julia S for being on the COVER!!! As well as Lisa Johnson, Lindsay Botkin,
Trudee Sauer, Keri-Lee Serika and Debbie Olson-who all have fabulous projects in there as well!!!
Great job girls D

For those wanting their Papertrey fix-Well you will definitely get PLENTY of that from me-AFTER the 15th. Sorry I can’t use any of the new yummies on my project’s before then. I can tell you they are AMAZING!!!!! Like I really needed to-

I have made SO many samples that I will share, so keep checking in.

I will also feature an array of samples for the other companies over the week-stay tuned for C.C. Designs (got to get my camera batteries charged up), since her release is tomorrow-um, or should I say late tonight

OK onto the card-

mytime-partridge-pair.jpg Partridge Pair

I have to say I LOVE bird images, and when I saw this bird from Lizzie Anne I knew it HAD to be mine!
It is called In the Treetop.
I love this card, the FUNKY colors and layout. It can be all occasion ,and it shows versatility for
those tiny images you have. I know you all love
seeing more idea's for those. I also love to repeat images.
Can you say Senic Route? That is the patterned paper that inspired this "partridge family" color scheme ,
in an adorable, not too 70's design.
This layout is actually very quick. I cannot wait to see what YOU do with it!
Send us a link in the comments section, so we can all see your take.
If you are one of the many getting snow sometime today, and tomorrow-stay warm!
I will be back later with some very CUTE samples using the NEW! C.C. Designs sets. Just need to
get my batteries cahrged, and shopping done :D
Till then!!!

WOW! Where did this week go?

I had quite the week here. The excitement of “me” being part of Papertrey Ink. Her INSANELY awesome new products!!!! Seriously could you possibly ask for more-well I guess yes! MORE of the awesome-ness she is bringing. Check it out, if you haven’t already! Ribbon’s, paper and ink-OH MY!!  I had to go buy MORE ribbon storage, and ink storage. I am NOT complaining 😀

Lots of “stuff” going on and my mojo is in a FUNK! I am catching up on last week’s blog challenge and this one as well. Make sure you enter the MYTIME MAIL-details at the bottom!

I want to update many of you who asked about Daisy! Thanks for remembering about her surgery 😀 LOVE YOU! She is now back to normal. After the “fixing” she cried for 2 nights! Broke my heart-poor baby. Her incision is still healing, and her activity is back to normal.

daisy-in-trouble.jpg This is what I woke up to today.

Someone, got into the bathroom!

How can you get mad at her? She has quite the “personality”, I swear. She has been the BEST addition to our family. Never owning my own dog, the prospect of adding one to our home was always a bit scary. I am so happy we researched a perfect match for breed, to our needs/wants as a family. I am also happy we bought Daisy and not some other “cheaper version” like Jay wanted!! LOL!

He agree’s I was right! Aren’t I always? We as woman, know out stuff!  (Im kidding-sort of)

She has gotten quite furry-I can’t see her eyes! Thank goodness she doesn’t shed! I cannot even imagine the fur-

Now my fur-less babies. Noah did AMAZING at the dentist! I was in SHOCK!! He was awesome the first time, but figure a little kid getting needles in his mouth-he ROCKED! I was so proud of him.

Poor Alexa on the other hand-pulled a MOMMY! She had a panic attack over the x-rays. But we did get her teeth cleaned. She needs work-but I will have it all done when she gets knocked out for her spinal chemo in 2 weeks or 3 months-depends on the dentist schedule.

So my wallet is a mere $200 lighter! LOL!

Anyway-lets move on to the eye candy-

THIS week’s challenge was to use chocolate chip, rose red, pumpkin pie, and taken with teal.

mytime-bc-rocket-love-in-air.jpg Rocket man-

So I used my NEW! Cat’s Pajama’s set-Puppy Love. I am so in love with the new sets.

I got this general idea form my Papertrey Ink-reveal card. Its different but based on my original idea, of 3 panels, and acetate overlay.

I used A Muse twinkle heart stickers for the rocker “dust”. The button is the “moon”. OK I know-Im weird. But I think this is a simple, cute card for a guy 😀 Maybe my guy!

Now LAST weeks challenge was to use the layout from the Sell-a-bration catty-the front page birthday card. Mine isn’t exact-but close.

sweet-baby-myime-flutter.jpg Welcome baby

YES! I am sorry ANOTHER baby card. What can I say, I need alot of baby cards, lately.

My friend Amy got me this butterfly embossing folder by Spellbinder’s, since she know how much I LOVE them! Thanks Amy! Waving hello!

So instead of having the butterfly be cut out, I decided to just emboss it on the layer, and use the embossing openings as a template to apply mypearlescent chalks for a POP of color!!

Sentiment is Limitless Labels.

Everything else is Martha Stewart. The ribbon, patterned paper, dry embossed paper, scallop and flower punch-PRETTY! PRETTY stuff!

I hope you enjoyed todays post.

I need to get to work, because C.C. Designs is having another release! Wait till you see the ADORABLE stuff she has planned.

I feel SO extremely blessed to be able to represent all these AMAZING companies 😀

Don’t forget that the Saturday Sketch is tomorrow too 😀
