Now let me tell you, while I like party set’s , Im really not good with using them.
WHY?
I’m not big on writing out a bunch of info. But I think for only a few, it would be OK. I can also print the info off on the computer. But it wasn’t the party info part that got me interested in this set, it was the other elements, that to me, are so unique.
This new set from Lizzie Anne is called It’s a Party, and it got me in a tailspin of ideas. I totally {love} it. You can order it in just a couple more days.
So I glanced at the list image provided and thought what a cool idea. I quickly had a lightbulb moment-to have the bling be the “check mark” for my selections 😀
Now if THAT doesn’t scream GIRLS NIGHT out, nothing does!
I also popped out a circle in the white layer. Matted it on the black layer, then popped out a smaller circle from white, and stamped the flower. I put it in the center on dimensionals. Its really cool in person.
What else is cool?
Well Its a pull tag invite-see
Now I not this is not revolutionary, but I do like my way of the tag being held in place-
What I did was seal, then cut down an envelope. Sandwiched it between 2 cardstock layers. The front panel is the black layer, the back is the Lilac layer, which also mats the front layer.
Cute huh?
So your tag easily slips in and out, and won’t fall out. You could even attach some chocolate or a wine charm or something since there is plenty of room to add a little bulk 😀
Hope you like it!!
I also have a couple of things getting published using this set soon 😀
So keep your eyes open.

You’ve been a busy bee posting this morning!!! So much great stuff, so little money 🙁 I’m in LOVE with the new LAD sets I’ve seen thus far, and I’m pretty certain that I will continue to be in trouble from here…those new CC Designs sets are too adorable also! Darn it Lauren, why do you have to make me want EVERYTHING?!?!?! 😉 Fabulous creations, as always, I love the envelope for the tag, and the bling for your ‘checkmarks’…smart.
I hope Amber is feeling a little better today…Happy Friday!!!
I like this new set, too bad I never organize parties!!LOL I might still get it for my kids’ birthdays, who knows!… So far my favorite of the new Lizzie Anne releases is the “In the treetop” I can already imagine the relaxation of stamping the leaves one by one on the branches!! 😀
This is great, love that it is so versitle. Great invitation card.
Lauren:
What a fabulous idea for a card. Thank you so much for sharing how you had the tag. I have been trying to ffigure out how to something like this for scrapbooing journaling and would you believe that I never thought of using and envelope. Beautiful card by the way.

Hey Kiddo! Just wanted to say – very cool idea. Love the card – super cute and I love the embellishments used as the checkmarks! You are so clever! Cute set too – so versitile!
Off to check out your other posts. How’s the family feeling? – and Amber? I have a card for her that”s ready to go out. Unfortunately, I missed the mail person this morning. Tomorrow. 😉
I’ll talk to you later! Hugs to you and the family!

Lauren – I love pocket cards and never considered using an envelope as the pocket! How ingenious! TFS this great idea – think I’m going to have to try it – maybe for DS’s bday party invites…. hmm… got my brain going now! Love the colors and that’s a cute stamp set.
Great pull card! Love the colors! The new LAD sets are killing me!!!! They are so awesome! I don’t know what to get first I want them all!!!!! Arghhhh……..
Super cute Lauren! The bling as check marks is ingenious!
I love it! I love the bing, I love the tag insert…and I especially love that you used an envelope as the holder for the tag! I am so pocket card challenged, I can’t wait to try this way! TFS
WAY FLIPPIN’ CUTE!!!
tooo wayy tooo cute!
LOVE the added bling…this just rocks!
Very cute Lauren!!! Love the pull out and the bling is fab!
This is adorable! I love the black and white with the bold colored party. Cool. Great idea on the envelope. Every time I’ve made a pull tag card (okay so there really have not been that many actual times I’ve made them) the tag gets stuck on the tape inside or I don’t measure things right, but your envelope takes care of that. You are a genius and creative to boot!
Too cute for words! Such a neat idea.
I love the way you put this all together.
Nice sandwich…Love the BLING!!
VERY CUTE!!!
This is a great invitation. Love it !!
