I cannot tell you how honored I am that you all read my blog. I mean really. You all “know” me. I know that by things you remember, and questions you ask. With all the amazing blogs and life I am so honored that you even bother to READ, let alone retain any personal info about me.
I get so many wonderful, and personal messages, I’m just in awe. So again-thank you for thinking I’m reading worthy!
I get the coolest things. Today Staci asked me if she wanted me to have her send a $1 coupon of Dunkin’s coffee! She thought of me immediately! LOL!
I also got a email from a reader/friend here named Bee. She had nominated my blog for a Blog Favorites section at Scrapbooks.com Newsletter, and I was featured as a favorite this week! What can I say to that?? WOW! Thanks so much! How honored I feel.
I have another email I got from a woman named Ann Williams. She sent me some great info, and a book she wrote! I want to TRY her info before I post it, and HOPE to do that soon.
Its nice to get to know you all. I also got some great cards from my friend Robyn (who I am late saying thanks to-shock!), I also get some great cards from my PSF’s!! MWAH!!! You girls are all amazing
Sorry I have really been out of commission these last few days. You have NO IDEA how much that KILLS me.
BUT, I know you all know with all 3 kids sick, Jason’s appointment, my Flu, and now I have the stomach bug, how it is. So not my week. Alexa got through her part of the bug really great. Thank goodness. I am so greatful for that. I’m still keeping her home tomorrow, and she has her School Christmas Concert Wednesday! SMILEBOX!!! Cannot wait. I want her to be well rested for that.
Jason’s appointment went great BTW!! Nothing serious! Just needs to take some meds 😀 YEAH!!! You know that man knows NOTHING about himself? Thank goodness I was there to provide ACCURATE info. He doesn’t even know what meds he takes!
We always have these little “issues” because he will go to the doctor and not ask questions. Half the time he doesn’t even remember what he said, only it was followed by “You probably don’t have to worry”. OK PROBABLY is NOT good enough for me!
He will have orders for tests and not know why. Does your husband/boyfriend/father/ MALE anyone in your life do this? Drives me INSANE.
This stuff is IMPORTANT! Maybe its the nurse in me. Not sure. But good grief.
OK so even though I feel like crap I still hafve stuff to share. So stay tuned.
Just wanted to update and thank you all.
I hope to post when I feel better-God willing. This stuff is really kickin my but.

Awww…sorry y’all aren’t feeling well. Wish I could bring you over some chicken noodle soup! Instead I’ll say some get-well prayers! {{{Big Hugs}}}
Oh my gosh! My husband is the same way! It drives me crazy! I think it does have to do with the fact that we’re both nurses. My husband just goes with whatever they tell him (usually doesn’t remember half of it) and never asks questions. Err! I guess doctors are more “peers” in my book and not “gods” like some people see them. ??? : ) Hope you get better soon!!!!
I enjoyed the smile box of your children. Think that is we lived closer we would be good friends. I totally enjoy reading your blog and looking at your cards. You are a great mom. I have a daughter that has spina bifida and I could not do what you all do for Alexa. Thanks for being on the other end of my computer every day.

Glad to hear your hubby is OK! Mine isn’t too clueless when it comes to his health because he is a doctor, LOL…but he also has a way of forgetting what people just told him 3 minutes ago! Like he’s on the phone with someone and when he hangs up I’m like “so what did they say?” and he’s like “hum, I don’t remember…” It’s a guy thing I think!…
Now that you are reassured, I hope the rest of the family will follow in the good news and that you will be perky tomorrow morning! 🙂
BTW, you deserve more than just “blogger of the week”, your blog is my first stop every day after checking my e-mails! ;-)…
Lauren…drink some gingerale…that might help calm your stomach…it does mine. There’s something about the ginger that has a soothing agent for the stomach “blahs”. I’m sorry that your life seems upside down at the moment… I’ve been there, done that…….and it seems like it always hits during the holidays… Keeping you in my prayers..Hope this bug passes soon… And please…don’t worry about your blog… it will be here when you get well…
I know it is a guy thing.. my DH can remember directions to a place we’ve never been that someone just tells him in passing… but can’t remember any meds, etc. I send him with my son to the doctor and oy! It’s like sending another toddler with him 🙂 I think sometimes the men in our lives just don’t “get” it.. but yeah, that’s probably the mother in all of us 🙂
I was so hoping that you wouldn’t get that bug. Darn. You have had enough problems for the rest of your life with what all has happened in the last month.
Yes, my husband is the exact same as Jason. Makes me so frustrated. If I didn’t put his meds out in the morning, he would never take them (and he is a diabetic). I wonder what he would do without me, but that maybe gives me a little too much credit.
Anyhow, feel better fast and I am so glad Alexa is doing well.

Sorry you’re still feeling bad!! {{{HUGS}}} I absolutely love your blog and I really do feel like I know you. I love your openness/honestness about every aspect of you life, whether it’s stamping or kids or hubby or just life in general.
Thanks for sharing so much of YOU with us!!!
Oh my…sorry to hear you haven’t kicked being sick yet! Hope you and everyone else gets well SOON! Thank goodness it wasn’t anything serious for Jason. Have a RESTFUL day 😉
And you mean a lot to us as well. I finally got in my A Chemistry with paper stamp sets. I played with Winter Fun..let me know what you think. Hugs, Chris
Lauren, I have just stumbled on to your blog, just in the last few days. You are an amazing women. Your blog is so great and I will continue to come back. Thank you so much for sharing your inspirations and in to your everyday life. Take care and God Bless to you and your family.
I love reading your blog everday, I do feel like i know you! it’s great to have “cyber” friends, too bad we all live so far away. Anyhow, you should rest and get better! I know you want to craft and blog but maybe resting is better right now, we can wait for you to get well. My DH is nothing like what you said about Jason, I’m probably more that way LOL.
Off I go to find a good place to purchse nestablities (thanks for feeding my addiction LOLOL). Feel well and I’m glad to hear Alexa is making it ok.
Oh Lauren, I’m so glad everything is fine with Jason abd Alexa got through her stuff okay. Hope everyone else gets well soon.
Oh, bummer, I was SO hoping YOU would not get the bug! DANGIT! I hope it is short-lived, and that you will feel better really soon. You have to go see Alexa perform tomorrow! That will be SO GREAT!!!
Sure am glad Jason is OK, I know that is a relief…whew! And yes, he should be swatted for not paying attention to what the Dr. says!!! LOL Don’t you just want to yell at him??!! Again, so glad it’s nothing serious!
Please feel better soon, it’s dreadful to know you are sick, and that your whole family has been too…maybe this is getting it over with for a while! Hopefully no one will bring anything else creepy home to share!!! 🙂 ~~~HUGS~~~
I hope you feel better soon , Lauren. It sucks to be the mom and the one really sick. Who takes care of us??? I hope you have a wonderful Christmas holiday!!
Glad to hear Jason’s appointment went well. I hope everyone else is on the mend SOON!! As much as it kills you to do nothing, it’s important for you to rest and take care of youself!! 🙂
I was an Ultrasound Tech for almost 20 yrs and men do not pay attention to that kind of detail! You can ask them last Monday’s football score and they will know it! But when it comes to medicine they take or anything that has to do with their body…….Duh the light blulb goes out! Oh well that is just the way most men are…and we still love them! You have done some amazing fun things…even when you are sick!! Your Gingerbread house with Sharon’s (ACWP) stamps was so cute and that apple looked good enough to eat! Your work puts s smile on all our faces! Thanks
Sorry you’ve been feeling like crud, and the family has been too. Hope all of you start feeling better really soon.
I certainly hope that the worst is behind all of you and you are feeling better very soon. I am sooo glad that Alexa came through this without a visit to the hospital. I extra glad that your Jason is okay. Take care of yourself and rest when you can.
It must be a man thing because my husband does that, too! It drives me nuts…”So what did the doctor say?”…”not much”. Uhhhhhhhhhh!
