Well arent you all so sweet!
Its so funny cause EVERYONE always ask’s me HOW I do it-all of it.
I think its funny. Don’t we all just do what we have to do? I don’t feel like what I do is abnormal.
Balance life, kids, house, hubby and hobby. I thrive on continuity-as do my children. We have a schedule. No, not a time schedule, but a way things work here, that doesn’t really vary much.
I’m just a born multi-tasker. I’m use to doing a million things at once. I seriously cannot do “nothing”! If I’m not busy, I get anxious. It’s seriously from my mother’s side of the family.
Its the HOBBY that keeps me sane. I love the madness of assignments and being allowed to just do what I love. It holds me together and helps me de-stress. Stamping has saved me many days. Its my time away where I don’t “THINK” about anything.
New stamps and Happy Mail are especially de-stressing for me 😀 I think its going to be a good week.
Did you know that All That Scraps has Nestabilities now? Yes! You read it correctly! As well as a bunch more COOL stuff-you MUST check out.
That being said I have 3 Elzybells samples to share with you.
I did not get one done with the Elzy in bed, but I will this week OK!
I’m not in a chatty mood-maybe thats good? So you don’t have to deal with the blah blah blah to get to the eye candy! LOL! I’m just exhausted.
So ,the MOST requested image as a card-was the girl on the swing! But I made 3 samples just for you!
Is she not adorable? Did I ever have FUN coloring her! This card is 5 1/2 squared.
It really was a quick color.
The “Hi There” is Essential Sentiments. Paper by American Crafts (local store), and the dotted embossed vellum was done with my Fiskars texture plates. Ribbon is from Target ($2.99 15 yds), tag I made using Making Memories tag rims.
This one is my most favorite!!! I so love that poochie!
I got that, and the paw prints!
Not my usual colors, but I liked how by doing black/gray for the base, I could make the rest ANY colors I want, and they would just POP off the card! I had to make the bkgd “dirty”, like it was tracked upon.
The bone/sentiment are a CTMH set (unsure too tired to go look-if you MUST know, email me).
I had to use googlie eyes on Elzy! This is a great card for a long distance friend who you want to keep in touch with! Or hey, even a secretary!!
I loved this ribbon.
The flower was stamped in co-ordinating versamagic ink.
Not too much to report. I do have ALOT to share this week, and plan on posting again today. We will see how my time works out.
Also, in honor of Veteran’s Day, let me extend my condolences for those families of those who have fought for our country, and lost their battle. I cannot imagine dealing with such a loss. Also, if you are a military family-thank you for going through all you do, so we may maintain our freedom.
I know I never say much about that stuff on here, but I do think about it, support the troops, and feel for the families.
OK I’m off.
So till later. I have been tagged days ago, have thank you’s to post, and a ton more 😀
Happy Stamping 😀

Cool cards! I am drooling over copic markers, I really like your coloring, it always looks awesome!!
Do you have any very pale colors or do you somehow dilute the colors? (like for the grass or the sky)…
OH NO!!! These cards are so stinkin cute. And the coloring. Me thinks Paulette is not the only wallet emptying friend. Okay so the Christmas list grows – Copics, Nestabilities, Elzys.. Oh my.
You do do so much. I think you’re amazing, Lauren. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Great cards! I have to agree our stamping hobby is what keeps us sane and calm. I love my kids but I look forward each night to some “me” time to stamp and create.
thanks for sharing
Oh my……
Has anyone ever told you that you’re an enabler? Oh yea, I’m sure they have!
These are *the* cutest cards! If I didn’t want the Elzys before, I do now!
Great job and thanks so much for sharing!

I totally love the little girl in the swing! She is just so sweet and your coloring is beautiful!
Ohhh Lauren …. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!! Ohh ya, for sharing your “Elzy’s” cards//designs. I really think the girl on the swing is priceless, and of course, I love anything with animals in them, so the doggy is a cutie-pie too 🙂
It’s really driving me **bonkers** not ordering any of the Elzybell’s stamps (personally, I prefer the larger U.K. design), but with Christmas fast approaching, I need to try and ‘curve’ my stamp-spending {moan-groan-sigh}. But come January, you know where I shall be shopping.
Here is a request for you, since you’ve been showing us these neat “snow globe” and “tags” effects, via the Making Memory Tag Maker/Rims ….. perhaps on a day that you are bored, with nothing better to do {wink}, you could explain how this tag maker works? Can you get different shapes and colours? Yaaaa I know, probably a ding-bat question, but I really found the snow globe astounding 🙂 And I know how much Free time you have on your hands Miss Lauren~!!!!!
Thanks again for the Elzy’s ~~ I’ve had my **fix** now for the day, so I’ll be able to hold-off ordering lol. Maybe :0)
