When I saw Sharon’s Challenge to create a tolie inspired card I knew I had to try it.
I was think FRENCH influence with this and love toile in blue’s and burgundy’s. Since these are my two most used colors these days (soft sky, blue bayou) I figured Id go with the blues.
I did THREE bkgds for this! Baroque (OMG! Lovin this one), Aida cloth (much neglected) and Garden Silhouettes (LOVE IT)
Carte Postale is generally NOT my thing, but I got it anyway. I have to say I have to say I do love it, and have yet to regret purchasing it.
Another favorite- Garden Silhouettes! OMG! Im just in love with it. And it was perfect for the “job”.
So here you have it.
My ribbon is Martha Stewart of course. Lots of layers and faux stitching, and DTP.
Anyway-hope you like my attempt!
Hope you get to play.
Tune in tomorrow for my challenge! And my samples for some of the other challenges. Its going to be a FUN week!

This card is so pretty, Lauren. I honestly thought that was store-bought designer background paper…WOW!
This is oh so beautiful. Love the background. I don’t own any background stamps, but the first on my list is Aida. I just love the look of it. This card has such beautiful shades of blue (my favorite color); thanks for sharing.
