Wow! I have had a CRAZY week. Design team stuff sure has been demanding lately, but- can I confess I LOVE every minute of it. Well almost every minute. I have been working on Christmas submissions! HELLO! I’m trying to get rid of the snow, and here I am stamping Christmas items and singing Walking in a Winter Wonderland! WHERE ARE MY FLOWER STAMPS!!!
So, in between submitting, I got an email from Christine yesterday telling me I was tagged! The goal is to write 7 things you want people to know about you!
So in no order I want to say
1) I love my SCS peeps, loyal PSF’s and readers. I am addicted to browsing SCS! BADLY! First thing I do in the AM (after I sip my coffee, and last thing I do before bed-well sometimes)
I have met SO MANY amazing people through stamping. You are all like family to me in some ways. Thanks for checking in regularly and ALL the kind words you send me. I enjoy learning about each of YOU as well, so instead of me tagging someone else- I tag YOU!
IF you want MYTIME MAIL you need to respond to this post, by telling me 7 things about YOU! I will pick a random winner Sunday evening at 7pm eastern time.
2) I have a shopping/stamping addiciton. Seriously. I am an online shopping addict! It runs in my family. I love to get mail-not just any mail, happy mail. If I realize I dont have anything coming I panic! Then hit submit somewhere. I love waiting for my goodies. I think thats why I shop so much. And no Mr. Brown is not HOT, nor is my mailman. And since most days I run in the shower just before dinner I would say its definitely not because I want to run into ANYONE! LOL!
3) I have a “touch” of OCD. While my house is not the most spotless, I will notice if the littlest thing is out of place. Turn my salt shaker a hair, and I will notice-ask my husband. I wish it wasn’t true but I inherited it from my mother. Although I have RELAXED alot! Its still hard to shake. Thanks mom! My son Noah has it too! GREAT! I have to make sure the4 house is clean several times a day. CRAZY! I vacuum at least twice-
4) I wear mostly black and brown. I have no idea why. I just notice that I do. Open my closet, and its full of black and brown. And jeans. I only wear jeans- Maybe because its slimming!
5) I haven’t cut my hair (besides a trim) since I was 12! My hair has been long since then. Never shorter than a few inches past the middle of my back. Usually its to my waist. I look awful with short hair. My hair was long-to my waist when I was 12, my mom chopped it to my shoulder, and LAYERED it! OMG! That year of photos makes me cringe! That day I swore my hair would NEVER be short again! And it hasn’t. Also another FUN fact-my hair was straight till my mom chopped it off! After that it got curly! (IMAGINE: short, layers curly hair-oh the horror) Now I have naturally curly long hair. It also got darker as I got older, and now I dye it! Yes I admit it I dye it-so what!
6) If I could eat anywhere it would be at either TGIFridays or Olive Garden! Im so not high maintenance. I LOVE both of those places. One of my most favorite food I NEVER get to have is Greek vegetables! OMG! Love them! I also love italian food, and seafood. Since meeting Jason I rarely get any seafood!
7) I use to bite my nails as a child. My dad always said it was so gross and no guy would ever date me if I kept biting my nails. He offered to pay me $250 if I stopped for 2 weeks, and grew just a little white on my nails. I could not bite ONE single nail. I was so motivated for the money that I did it! AND he actually paid me! Since that time I have not bitten my nails! I do however, pick at the sides when Im upset-you know like hangnails-I know really gross and too much info. You should have seen my hangnails when Erik and I had court (my ex-mistake aka Alexa’s father) and when she was in the hospital! OMW!
STAY TUNED for tomorrow! Saturday Sketch challenge!
Your turn!

Thank u so much for such a wonderful Blog. I enjoy reading it every single day !
I absolutely love all of your creations. I check your blog every day. I’m glad you got tagged so that I can learn even more about you. Keep up the great work!
Hee hee, some of your 7 random things made me LOL for real! I WISH I could stop biting my nails, and I WISH my house was immaculate!
Thanks for sucha great blog. You are the best.
Well, 7 things I *want* people to know about me – that’s hard! Your comments got me thinking, so some will be similar:
1. I work best under pressure. Often wait until the last minute to actually DO things I’ve pre-planned in my head.
2. I did a lot of traveling when I was young. I’ve been to 48 states by the time I was 10. I’ve still only been to 48 states & I’m considerably older than 10!
3. I have no OCD. My house is a mess. I’ve (almost) stopped apologizing for its state. There are so many more important things to do than clean. I do appreciate it clean, it just takes visitors arriving to get me to actually tidy up. (Bathrooms are clean & kitchen – don’t like germs)
4. I like to be on the go a lot and am always packing a bag of things to take with me. I’m the ultimate Boy Scout (“Be Prepared”). BUT, I hate un-packing bags & suitcases when I return – hence the mess that surrounds me – bags & bags of stuff.
5. I’m a sucker for the clearance aisle – anywhere!
6. I love to read. I *must* have something to read with me everywhere I go. I panic if I think I’ll have to wait somewhere and not have something to read.
7. I get sentimental about strange things. I have a Clic eraser from when I was in high school that I still use when scrapbooking. I have a typewriter (remember those things!?) eraser that I used in Jr. High that was touched by a boy a liked back then and I have saved it in a box. Kind of kooky stuff like that.
There you go – more than you ever wanted to know about me!!

So, I love your blog and love blog candy – even though I have never won. My 7 things are:
1. I have a highly boring job so I get to read blogs ALOT – sometimes all day.
2. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering that I have never really “used” and I didn’t really enjoy getting it that much.
3. I have a 3.5 year old son who is the best and my job allows me more time with him than if I tried to get a super stressful, higher paying job.
4. I LOVE stamping and papercrafting and would someday love to be published, sell my cards, or be on a design team.
5. I had another child, Madison, who passed away at 15 days (she was a full term baby) after having open heart surgery from a congenital heart defect. She was perfect in every way and I miss her so much.
6. There are five kids in our family, I am the oldest at 30 and my twin sisters are the youngest at 20.
7. I have never had a cup of coffee, but I do enjoy mochas now and then.

7. I’ve only lived in cities my adult life, but dream of living in the country or somewhere in the Southwest.
Hi Lauren!
What a fun game! I have enjoyed reading everyone’e replies. Here are mine:
1–I wait til the last minute to get things done, too! Drives my DH crazy. My DS is like that, too.
2–I grew up in Ghana, West Africa–my dad was a missionary doctor. We were stationed way up north in the bush country, so I had to go away to school starting in 5th grade. That was a bummer! I did get to see a lot of Europe on our trips too and from the USA, and I didn’t appreciate it appropriately since I was so young. Wish I could go back to all those places now that I’m an adult!
3–I have a touch of OCD, but unfortunately it doesn’t show at home! Starting when I was sent to boarding school, I fold and tear pieces of paper methodically until the squares are so tiny you can’t fold them anymore. I have never met anyone else that does this, LOL.
4–My favorite things to do include shopping, eating, reading and doing sudoku.
5–Stamping is my latest obsession. Before that it was collecting beanie babies! I am totally addicted to SCS–and am getting that way about some blogs, too!
6–I love mexican food–heck, I love all food, sad to say!
7–I am turning 50 years old Jan ’08, and I have stopped dyeing my hair because I was too lazy to keep it up. I am planning to buy a big red hat and something bright purple to wear. I am going to celebrate it in honor of my friends and family who didn’t make it to 50! (this is assuming I actually make it–God willing!)
Looking forward to reading everyone elses lists!
Sharon
What a fun game. I didn’t think I’d have to do this since I don’t have a blog but here it goes:
7 things about me
1. I have a DS who is 21 and he is my pride & joy.
2. I am addicted to stamping & scrapbooking which is tough since I can’t afford this hobby.
3. I was in an auto accident 3 1/2 years ago and can no longer work. I am now left with a lot of chronic health issues from the accident that makes even doing the day to day things difficult. Stamping & scrapping is my sanity.
4. I’m also addicted to reading and usually read 2 to 3 books a week.
5. I had 3 cards published in the Feb & March issues of Vamp Stamp News.
6. I have a dog & a cat that think they are humans. They have major “sibling rivalry” and even though the cat is 14 yrs and the dog is almost 13, they “hate” each other. The dog does not like the cat to come near me and she is so jealous if I pay attention to the cat (who was here first). In all these years, I don’t have a picture of the two of them together.
7. I use to have a pet turtle that was a part of our family for 10 years. Unfortunately, the cat helped him escape and by the time I found him, he was dead. I still miss him.
Hmm, 7 things? Ok, I have webbed toes, I love chocolate, I’ve been married for 27 years, we have 3 kids, I love the smell of fresh air, I’m addicted to scrapbooking, rubber stamping and cardmaking.
Claudia F.
Wow Lauren, you really opened yourself up. Seven things about me, hmmmm….
1) I’ve been married for 15 1/2 yr’s to the same man. That’s quite an accomplishment for me since my mom was married 3 times and was divorced twice. One of those was really nasty..like have to get the cops involved. So I’m surprised I’ve stayed married as long as I have.
2) My mom was my best friend. When she passed away 16 yrs ago, I lost my friend and confidante. We would have a blast over anything. 🙂
3) I have 2 kids (DS,DD) and 4 fur-kids (cats).
4) I’m a very anal person. Meaning, all the ‘I’s have to be dotted and “T”s crossed in the right place at the right time.
5) Because I’m anal, I’m also my own worst critic when stamping or scrapbooking.
6) I’m totally addicted to stamping and SCS. Get up in the morning and get online with a cup of tea to surf. It’s also the last thing I do before I go to bed.
7) I totally love football. My DS and my DH think I’m strange because I can understand what they’re talking about and watching.
Okay…I’ll play…
1. I have six children, four boys and two girls.
2. My four sons are from my first marriage.
3. I am a Licensed Nurse Assistant.
4. I am a Close To My Heart Consultant.
5. My best friend lives in Oregon.
6. My favorite campground is Moose Hillock.
7. I am addicted to SCS and Lauren’s blog **wink**
Great blog, Lauren!
Seven things about me!
1. I have two wonderful grandchildren.
2. I am a Property Manager. Collecting rents and ‘calming’ 90 tenants!
3. I will be celebrating my 40th wedding anniversary…does one get a medal for that?!
4. I love Springtime…and I don’t think it will ever get here this year.
5. I have been a Stampin’ Up demo since 2005
6. I have a wonderful, talented daughter-in-law. She also stamps and scraps.
7. I love chocolate.
Lynda

5. I am also Polish and always wanted to play the accordion since my friend..when I was about 9 had one and she had a “diamond” on one of the buttons. A few years ago, someone way older than me heard about it and gave me, GAVE ME, hers since she didn’t have the strength to use it anymore. Took lessons and bought another one.
6. Now I have arthritis in my shoulders and elbows and moving the accordion bellows is getting more difficult (but oddly, I can still stamp) so I’ve decided to learn how to play the banjo…we own one cuz my husband wanted one and I bought him one…which is now collecting dust. No instrument of any kind should be caught collecting dust. Just furniture.
7. I love to knit and this year I am knitting mittens to be donated to the local hospitals for all the children who arrive in the ER in the winter storms too poor to even own mittens. It’s been very heartwarming to do this. Plus, it was good practice to keep my fingers nimble.
And by the way, love your blog. Susan Hatch

4) My biggest influence on improving my stamping – you guessed it – Lauren! You were the first person I pm’d about a card you had made that I found back in 2006. 4) I’m afraid of rodents. I don’t even like squirrels and tell my kids not to feed the ones at the park.
5) I suffer from chronic sarcsm.
6) I had wavy hair until I had DS #1. Now it’s poker straight.
7) I cannot function without caffeine.
1. I am 5’9 but when I am around girls (not guys)

England and Norway. At 9 we moved back to Texas then
California, then back to Texas. Then my junior year
of high school we moved back to England for 1 year. I
have many fond memories of that year and would love to
live there now.
6. I love flip-flops and going barefoot!! The
barefoot part drives my husband crazy (not because he
has a foot fetish, he thinks you should always wear
shoes)
7. I have a big sweet tooth. I love desserts and I
have to have Coke in the morning. The real thing not
diet or caffeine free!! I don’t do coffee.
8. I know I was only suppose to put 7, but I had to
mention, I don’t sleep with any pillows and I talk way
too much. It also drives my husband crazy because I
never stop talking!!!
9. Oh, one last thing, I love to read, bake and cook,
talk on the phone, crochet and work in my yard and
stamp of course (cards only, scrapbooking is too time
consuming for me)
I just want to say I look at your blog everyday!! You
so deserve to be in all these magazines!! You have
really inspired me to stamp more. Thanks for your
great blog!! Hope you and your family have a great
weekend.
I still owe your kidos cards and they will be coming
shortly!! I didn’t forget them!!!!

Hi! I love your blog! Glad you had a great time at Disney!!
1. I teach fifth grade at a Christian school. I love my job!
2. I love to read, especially non-fiction kinds of books. I really like things like Case for the Creator (Strobel), Super Baby Food, and The Maker’s Diet right now. I know, maybe I’m weird for all that. I love children’s books, too. 🙂
3. I love to bake! If I left teaching, my dream would be to own my own bakery, specializing in cupcakes, sugar cookies, and treats.
4. I have an almost-one-year-old. His name is Cameron and his birthday is this Tuesday, May 1!
5. My favorite normal vacation place is Washington, D.C. (If I could pick anywhere to be, it would be Maui, but how often is that really going to happen?!?)
6. I am addicted to patterned paper! I know….shocker! Most of us are, aren’t we?
7. My favorite little new embellishment is Hero Arts’ sequins….if you haven’t picked some up, get ’em! They are SUPER fun!
Okay…so I put my list on my blog….

Hey Lauren –
Good things to know! Thanks for sharing them with us….things about me….let’s see
1 – I’m a GREAT procrastinator, whether it’s cleaning, preparing for a workshop, whatever, I work well under pressure, so I think that’s why I put things off until the last minute!
2 – unfortunately, I tend to be a pessimist, and I have pretty low self esteem, but am trying daily to turn those things around! 🙂
3 – I am a hopeless romantic, however, DH, is not, so sometimes I do get disappointed, but get over it, because he really is SO wonderful to me and DD
4 – MUST HAVE COFFEE. I like to have a cocktail now and then, but I can not live without my coffee, I’m a java junkie!
5 – My hair is in a horrible transitional phase right now…I had a few great cuts, and this last one…I’m not so happy with, so I’m growing it out, and hoping for the best…the color??? well, when I was a tot, it was strawberry blonde…loved it, then it lightened, and was sandy blonde, and has gotten darker, and darker, haven’t gotten it colored due to the pregnancy, but will once the baby arrives…
6 – I have a TERRIFIC Mom and Dad! They are always helping us out in every way, and I’m SO lucky to have them
7 – I love to watch my daughter sleep, and thank God every day for all of my blessings, family and friends!

My name is mrs. Santana Valdez from Houston, taxes.i never believed in love spells or magic until i met this spell caster once. when i went to Africa in June 28th 2013 this year on a business summit. i ment a man called dr. Atakpo. He is powerful he could help you cast a spells to bring back my love’s gone, misbehaving lover looking for some one to love you, bring back lost money and magic money spell or spell for a good job.i’m now happy & a living testimony cos the man i had wanted to marry left me 3 weeks before our wedding and my life was upside down cos our relationship has been on for 2 years… i really loved him, but his mother was against me and he had no good paying job. so when i met this spell caster, i told him what happened and explained the situation of things to him..at first i was undecided, skeptical and doubtful, but i just gave it a try. and in 6 days when i returned to taxes, my boyfriend (is now my husband ) he called me by himself and came to me apologizing that everything had been settled with his mom and family and he got a new job interview so we should get married..i didn’t believe it cos the spell caster only asked for my name and my boyfriends name and all i wanted him to do… well we are happily married now and we are expecting our little kid,and my husband also got a new job and our lives became much better. in case anyone needs the spell caster for some help, email address ([email protected])Great Atakpo i thank you very much thank you in 1000000 times.. if not you i would have been losted and wasted thank you.
